Is there a video that goes over or explains each of the option sources? For example I dont know the difference between Box 2d and Box 3d or any of the Scraper Settings. Some of my games have fanart or the wrong box art despite fanart being disabled. I have been using the other video posted about manually scraping and its been a tremendous help but I'm the type of person who likes the little details and likes the understand the differences between different sources or settings.
It's bizarre how a mass game collection can be automated to do such a good job of the previews, but your settings will help it a lot!

4 of my SFC games in Onion 4.3 were scraped and now just show 'loading' in games library. Unable to delete scraped art from files in OS frontend. Deleted media files for affected games in Imgs directory and reinstalled ROMS. booted up my Miyoo and once I open the directory for the game file, the list is still just populated with 'loading' on each line. Not sure what to do

Hi, how can i copy scrapped games from my laptob to batocera,when i i copy the video and image files to the rom the scrapped games dosent show ,can i get help pls😅
I've tried creating an account for Screenscraper, I keep getting an error message about the password, I've tried multiple different passwords, it's not happening for me.
i just get an error, its says "an error occured: error" and i have logged in.
I am getting that too and trying to figure out what is going on. I will share if I find anything.
So I looked at my network settings and made sure I was connected to my wifi but noticed that even though I was connected it said "No internet connection" in the settings so i just closed out of Batocera and went back in and checked the network settings and it said it was connected. So I ran the scrape and it kicked off.
Use the Username you created not the email

Hi retropieguy i scraped all roms and the disk got full. Then all my ps1 games gameboy n64 games would not start. I have after went in to f1 and free some space what should I do so it will start again?

I set up an account with screen scraper and I donated lvl 4. Does it take a while before they notice your account or something because EmulationStation is still slow

I'm new to this. I love all your videos. I can't get screen scraper to work in batocera. All I get is an error message. I thought maybe password was wrong. Or maybe the user was supposed to be my email. Nothing works. What can I do? Nothing seems to work.

I wish it could scrape without me having to go through all my games and edit the titles to remove regions and stuff. It takes far too long to do yourself and I just don't have the time.
It should scrape as the files are. I never went in and edited titles on any of my setups.
Doesn't scraping videos for 100's of games use up a hell of a lot of space?
Depends on how many you do. It's not as much as you'd think

What’s it say ? Could be wrong password username or you may have maxed out on scrapes if you are doing a large collection. Did anything scrape or you didn’t even get that far?

Very great video and super basic instructions on how to follow it. I just made my account and also became a patreon this morning about 3 hours ago. How long does it usually takes for it to register you as a patreon so you can start scraping the images? I haven't tried as i read it takes less than 24 hours, but im hoping its faster than that lol. Again, great video.
You shouldn't have to do anything with patreon unless they very recently changed their process. You just sign up and should be good to go from their website.
@@RetroGamingGuy oh wow! I didn't know that. A buddy that helps me out stated that we need to do a patron for it. I did the cheapest one for a dollar a month. Also, how come when I scrape games that are missing all the details such as the video, game details and so on, they don't scrape? Should I do then individually like you showed in your other video? I'm doing this through retrobat/virtualman

SOLVED: if you get the error in french when scraping create an account on screen scraper website to fix this issue. then use the login creds when you configure your scraping on batocera, hope this helps
hi i am using recalbox on rasburry pi 4.i have about 24000 roms and tring to scrape it its gonna take lots of time to scrape it any faster way ?

Is it possible to scrape games without renaming them? Ie keep the existing game name. As sometimes I have multiple versions of the same game and end up with lots of games with the same name. As it's a pain having to go back and manually rename the games title one at a time.
Yeah I actually just did a video yesterday on the channel here on how to manually scrape games. You just search for the game and then you don't have to worry about renaming anything. You wouldn't want to do that for huge collections but here and there it's a easy and effective approach.
Their website is terrible. Bad enough it is in french, but it does not even let you create an account
It should let you. You should be able to translate it in most browsers.

Curious how to edit an incorrect scrape on the ones that didn’t capture the correct art….🤔
Go to edit metadata should be under advanced options then you can manually scrape at the bottom as sometimes auto will grab the wrong data
