Keith Pringle was Minister of Music at Greater Bethany Community Church - Bishop Robert W. Mc Murray. The spirit of the Lord rushed through the church every time this song was sung. So many people were baptized in Jesus Name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). And thousands were delivered on a regular basis. Hallelujah! This same God is still saving and delivering today. He is the same today as he was yesterday. LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. Thank you, Gospel Nostalgia
St John Baptist Church East Palo Alto CA 1979 Rev Floyd J Purdy Pastor....Bro James Owens and Rufus Turner on the piano and Organ.....we would march in to this on Sunday....what a time we had rocking the mid peninsula....OMG!!!!
Wow great song from 1979. But in that same year Tri Boro Mass Choir did a song Where Do We Go from Here. Both songs sound similar. Both are great songs.
"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord--praise the Lord! Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise the Lord! Praise the Lord on the trumpet and harp, the stringed instruments and the organ sound! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" "Praise! Praise Him! "Praise! Praise the Lord! (4X)Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!"
Our choir sang this when I first got into holiness in the 80's. I looked it up 'cause I was feeling a bit "NOSTALGIC"...LOL! Blessings to you. Pastor Sherrunda
I love this version way better than the Twinkie version now no shade to her but I just believe some songs needs to stay original 🤷🏾♂️ the choir sung this song at my pastor home going celebration Bishop Charles Edward Poole Bethlehem healing temple Jan 1984
Its scripture. There is no original version. Arrangements are not comparable to each other. Two completely different styles and feels. Like what you like, but apples to buffalos.
Imo, politically, theologically, and musically, Prosperity Gospel really changed Black continuationist (Holiness, Pentecostal, charismatic, Shouter) churchesthere is so much more and individualistic capitalist emphasis in what songs are about for example, noe than back then
I love this song. I have it on his other album. What are the lyrics? I could not understand the third line. And I would love to have this album to add to my Keith Pringle collection. Is he still recording? He was on top of the gospel music world back in the day.
Thanks for the lyric information! I thought it was "with the organ sound!" But the diction is clearer on this album....*HAPPY PENTECOST SUNDAY!* (June 4, 2017) :-)
2020 anybody??!!!

+Charity Dell - Not quite, "Praise Him on the Psaltry and harp, with the strings instruments and song a shout."
+Mr Grace Thanks for the lyrics! Those old albums do not always carry the crisp, clear diction of the singers!
@@hyacinthb "with a song and shout"
@@jhoward5765 - Thank you. You are correct. I should have paid more attention to my typing. LOL!!
