- This is my DIY Mountain Bike Workshop Build! I've been working on this one for a while now and I think I've created the ultimate bike cave and youtube studio! Tool chests from SGS, Park Tools for pretty much every job, LED lighting and proper garage flooring to make it pretty epic!
It should be a professional bike workshop for years to come! Here's where I got my stuff:
Trail Artwork from Trailmaps: trailmaps.co.uk
Tools from Park Tool: www.parktool.com
Tool Chests from SGS Tools: bit.ly/3t7Ao67
Garage Shelfing from Screwfix: bit.ly/3vbPjOu
Vinyl Flooring from BigDug: bit.ly/3emesAj
Workshop Workbench from BigDug: bit.ly/38pigwI

Sorry for the delay in videos over the past couple of weeks - been full on with this one!!!
top. nice work 👌👌👌👏👏👏
Bang in a coffee machine and boom sorted!
Amazing place Rob!! One word that sums up your place...CLASS!
Keep the good stuff coming.
Loving those tool benches!! There is one thing missing though, a beer fridge!!
Yep! Next purchase for sure !
Go to beer hawk and invest in a perfect Draft machine
The spaten and Stella are better than the Pub..
Though I do miss the banter and friendly atmosphere
Really Well done Mr Rob Rides..
Been following since the beginning..
I’m from Staffordshire and even went down to Berkshire Levo centre..
To purchase my 1st EBike..
All through watching your videos..
Well done 👍🏻
Looks awesome..... I don’t even own an ebike, I ride a naturally aspirated MTB but I still love the channel.
You excel yourself Rob. A fantastic job.
Super cool Rob - love the look! The wood is perfect
Beautiful workshop/studio! In the research phase of turning our rarely used home theater room/ bike trainer room. Into a bike shop/ indoor trainer pain cave.
Well deserved, really like your videos and content!
Congratulations on your super nice workshop!
Great job Rob, it looks really sharp!
No one can say your not a grafter !
Well done Rob, looks the dogs🐕
That tool bench is the nuts fella 💪🏻
Awesome !!!
You deserve it , mate !
You’re the best !
Your doing an amazing job mate! Look forward to watching what comes next.
You've done yourself proud Rob. Epic bike cave.
Keep up the vids mate 🤙
Proper man cave looks great
Good work mate, looks well smart.
Looking forward to further content, I'm sure your channel will only grow and become more successful.
Cheers & take care,
Tom.
Great job on the workshop. Given me some great ideas for my garage workshop
Moving on up, congratulations 🎊
Beautiful space !
WOW !! As we'd expect from you Rob totally quality . Given me loads of inspiration and ideas for my own workshop project later this year. I'll be saving this video in my favourites. Look forward to future content from your new studio.
Holly molly. This is so insane. Looks crazy good!
Fair play Rob! Congratulations 🤙🏻🤘🏻
Dream place, great vibe. Happy for you Rob
Very interesting video Rob, gives me some inspiration for the garage at the house that I've just moved into. Good effort, very tasteful and stylish 👍👍.
Great new space !
Congratulations on your new space Rob, Looks awesome! Love watching your videos, I learned so much from watching you! Cheers from California!!
Thanks to you too Rob. Fabulous space. I want to see two things in the space that’ll complement your already peerless indoor and outdoor video-style. 1. Some detail on fitting stuff like some new brakes or maybe a dropper. I don’t need to be taught how to (I already have a good idea), but I want to see how you do it, because that’s why I’m here, to see and hear your ideas on things. 2. As things start opening up in a few months, I’d like to see some of your talking heads stuff in this space. Maybe, once in a while, a sponsor might come in to see you there and take the risk of being asked on your turf a few probing questions about ‘what’s next and why?’ Your interview style encourages a bit of honesty, which is rare and some MTB Tubers just avoid this, or simply suck up to the sponsor - you’re not like that. Just my penneth 😀
GREAT JOB. DETAILS
Rob, just like all your other videos, I really enjoyed the video on your new shop. You asked for suggestions and here is one from me. I would like to see you teardown an out of warranty shimano e8000 motor and show (if anything) what an owner can service on his own (such as re-packing the bearings, etc.). I have seen several different videos on Bosch and Yamaha teardowns, but I have never been able to find one on a Shimano motor. This may be a bad suggestion, but I thought I would offer it up. Thanks again for all your great videos and comments.
Great to see you and the brand grow Rob. You get out what you put in 👍🏻👏🏻
Would love to see a Rocky mountain ebike covered!
well done Rob 👍absolutly stunning workshop. the light is brilliant
Fantastic Rob! Enjoy it! And can’t wait to see the next review in there 😎👍🏻🇬🇧
Great job Rob, looks like a workplace you'd want to get to every day
those tool chests would make an awesome but also affordable kitchen in comparison to typical kitchen units
Looking great. I'm a very tall with an old cad3 which doesn't fit me really now. A video showing how best to cheapy make a old bike fit better. Mainly stem, handbars,etc...
Looks great
Onwards and upwards! Excellent attention to detail as displayed in your channels product video content. Great job Rob.
Thanks man!
Room looks mint👍🏻
Lookin good Rob.
Nice! Great work and great videos!😊
You've built an astonishing workshop a lot better than the old one !You've a great taste ....Cheers! I'm waiting to see it full of wonderful bike to review!💪
It all looks spot on Rob. Nailed the stain on the wood!
Looks great!
Looks ace, but wood panelling in an office building can sometimes cause issue with fire regs, I think though only if on an egress route. Hopefully no issues!
Looks awesome, and would be great to see more bike upgrades and dreambuilds
Love it Rob, such a great space to work in and it looks great on camera
Very nice Rob,,, Loving it!! Sheers :))
Last thing I expected to see when I logged on today was a studio reno, but this was actually pretty cool. Good job!
awesome brother
Great work rob, the new ‘pirate ship’ is looking much brighter. Enjoy!
This is such a minor thing, but I work with bikes daily now as I attempt to get a biz going out of by home. The Park HXS-1.2 plastic hex holder sucks. I'm still trying to think about how best to display them for daily use, but I think it will come down to some little nubs on the wall, two per wrench, where they can sit until needed, because they are always needed.
Beautiful transformation! Kinda inspires me to transform my shed into a workshop. :D Great job mate.
Very nice, what an inspiration :)
Very nice
Dang, you’ve been quite busy! Great job Rob!
Looks awesome 👌
Cheers Michael
Every Man's Dream. Looks awesome
Thanks Frank
That's some serious commitment to a hobby. Is this your fulltime job now or shifting this to your main income? I Love it and it even gets me enthusiastic to put more quality time into my hobby as well. Keep it up and I keep watching
Looks good Rob! Keeps you out of the Mrs’ way 🤣🤣👍🏻 no boom box? 😂
Love the new workshop / studio Rob, now we know what you’ve been up to for the last couple of weeks! Looking forward to some great new videos in the next few weeks, shame you can’t have a moving in party though 🙄
great!!!
Wow! Nice job
Well this explains the no show recently. You are by far the best etmb reviewer out there, but going forward please get Yr hands on some of the brands that don't seem to get much attention online, such as Rocky Mountain, Kona, Cannondale, etc., even if y have to beg, borrow or steal.. Maybe not the last option
Nice space Rob. Really enjoy your reviews and content, it’s maybe a bit more grown up than some of the other stuff out there. I think you’d be great at doing some longer podcast style studio interviews with interesting people within the scene.
Plus a collaboration with one of the commenters on this very thread- Sam from Sam’s bikes about before and after his EWS competitions would be very welcome!
With you being the man in the know I’ve seen some comments about the decathlon stylus coming back this year but I’ve not heard anything more can you get some more information please please please so loved the look spec and the only thing I maybe could afford 🚵♂️🚵♂️🚵♂️ awesome man cave by the way
I think Rob needs to invite Chris Reilly round to inspect and award marks out of 10 😉
you need to test a Levo sl against the orbea rise
What an amazing video and office space 😁. I hope my channel is as good as yours one day ☺, truly inspirational 😀
Looks quality Rob!
I’d like to see the eebometer return or a hybrid eebometer / top gear styled cool wall please 😎 hell you could even get a timed hill climb board
Good idea. EEBOMETER is always requested!
@@RobRidesEMTB magnetic board on wheels would be perfect
Harry Main/Berm Peak
looks more like a photo/film studio than a workshop
Rob Rides EMTB Interior Design
What! no more dark dingy man cave. shocked. Those trees you pass in the wood are not stained, must be your sunglasses. Idea for a video, rear suspension designs and rider review, the Giant Maestro on the Trance you rode was just one design. also the placement of the rear shock, so many different fittings I wonder which is best.
No but the trees are dark on the bark 😊Thanks for the vid suggestions 👍👍
Great gob man y’all subscribe
What’s the size of your new workshop?
Wouldn’t a ground floor be better
Toop Rob👏👏💪
Thanks dude 👊
Hello @rob ride EMTB, Good job !! Can you tell me which Pine stain did you use ? I saw on the video that you use : Manns Classic Pine Stain but i didnt see the color ( Black ? brown ? Golden ? Honey ? Thanks for your help !
Brown!
test kellys please :-)
Can’t wait to do so!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very Nice Shop! Just needs a beer fridge and girls in bikinis assisting with the parts! 😎 Congrats mate!
Pucker
looking great ROB....
Thanks Sam 👍
Sam, i guess your girlfriend already know that yours is coming😂
This is the future for ‘office’ space in the UK. Good stuff Rob, keep on leading from the front.
Hey Rob Rides Emtb! Awesome new space! Before my back operation I was a carpenter and spent 7 years building and renovating sound studios! Did your acoustic improvements succeed? Add some carpets to any large reflective surfaces and break up any parallel walls and floors and ceilings by building things in flat wedges to break up parallel surfaces to prevent standing waves! Use a variety of materials as each different substance absorbs different frequencies! Even sliding multiple layers of cardboard and carpet behind the panels your carpenter made for the ceiling will help! Hope these simple concepts help! If you want more info I could sign up on your forums? Ride ride ride!
Cheer Eric! Needs some more sound panels for sure. It’s about 70% of the way at the moment. A lot of reflective surfaces in this space!
Hey Rob Rides Emtb! I edited my original comment with more info! Ride ride ride!
Absolutely first class Rob, looks a lovely place to work. The huge tool chest clearly made it up the stairs ok!
Great gob man you rock
You're an interior designer as well mate ! LoL ..... very stylish indeed
Great Job Rob. I‘m enjoying every new video on your channel. Keep it riding! 👍
Great job Rob! Really pleased for you.. Love it that you get to make a living from bikes! 💪💪
Stunning workspace, nicely crafted and seems highly functional. Looking forward to seeing your future videos.
