As a recent PharmD graduate, this video was extremely helpful. I am considering direct to industry positions vs applying to fellowships. Your video provided a lot of insight and clarity on the path that I wish to choose. Thank you so much!
Well said
Great topic to discuss Divyanka and very thorough comparison of the pros and cons. Thank you for helping share your experience in our pharmacy profession.
thank you for your feedback!
Thank you very much for your videos! They are a great source of information for pharm students or people who are interested in becoming pharm students such as myself. There is not much information out there, and if you say: oh, I didn't know! People would say: you never asked. So the issue is asking the right questions.
thank you for the feedback!! really hope this is helpful :)
This is very helpful I am a BS Pharmacy student here in the Philippines 🥰
Ah amazing to hear!!!
Do people take NAPLEX and MPJE while doing a fellowship?
That’s my question too
I graduated in 2020. My school did not mention a single thing about pharmacist role in pharmaceutical industry so none of us knew anything about it so nobody from my class is working in a pharmaceutical company right now, But I must admit it was my fault also for thinking I could just apply to a company after graduation and that was it, i had a job such a naive person I was 🤣 I should had done more research on what I needed to do to be able to work in a pharmaceutical company. I guess it’s too late now :(
i feel like this is every pharmacy student's experience!! that's how i've felt throughout school and only found so much out through doing my own research and talking to specific people. hopefully i can help some students out there who arent finding this information anywhere!
@@FocusRx I wish I had found your channel earlier, otherwise my career could had been different. I didnt want to work in retail anymore after 4 years so I hesitated to take naplex after graduation as I wanted to do something different than retail and hospital (code blue gave me heart attack everytime it went on when I was doing rotation 😂). But now I figure I should go back to study for naplex because it’s too late now for pharmaceutical. :(
