I think the Thunder are going to be top 2 NBA teams this upcoming season after the very recent addition of Alex Caruso and trade of Josh Giddey. I think even in the beginning of his career he was the odd man out in OKC.
Don’t think Alex is a player OKC needs, it’s better than Giddey but they need to prioritise bigs. Their starting 4 is JDub who’s 6’5 and 200lb who’s able to play shooting guards, he’s not Charles Barkley who’s strong enough to hold his own against some of the best bigs ever and average over 12 rebounds per season. They need a proper big and it’s evident when you see how Lively was making Chet a constant mismatch, was too athletic and strong for him. They need to try and acquire bigs, JDub would actually be a great shooting guard for the team, who’s stronger than most guys in his position, very athletic, a great slasher and with a shooting split of 54/43/81.
Interestingly, I think it helps both teams. The Bulls treated Caruso like a part time role player even though he's one of the league's best defenders and he's got a 41% 3pt average last year. OKC gets someone who can score for them and improve their defense at the same time, the Bulls get someone who can defend, rebound, and pass but doesn't care about scoring so their other players can take all the shots.
@@LeonardGums Nah....he's definitely a cut above with the things he does well. OKC just wanted him to be a 3pt shooter because that's their offense. That's not who he is so he'll be better with the Bulls. We'll see if it translates to a good career, but I think he's going to find a spot somewhere no matter what happens. Giddy was 13/8/6, then 17/8/6, then 12/6/5 in reduced minutes. Give the guy 35 minutes a game and he should settle in at least at 15/8/6. Those are respectable numbers. Just don't expect him to be a catch & shoot 3pt guy.

I've been trying to explain that to Mavs fans who don't want to think about moving Jones and his 9ppg/35% shooting. Defense is important but unless you're going to be a bench player who just plays to hassle a great scorer for another team, you're asking to lose due to not enough scoring to keep up.

Better offensive player LeBron or shai in 2024?
This year alone could be Shai but both have their own strengths. I think LeBron is the better shooter and playmaker and generates more points but Shai is currently the better finisher and off dribble mid-range shooter. It's really just what you prefer in an offense. Both players are at their best with a bunch of shooters and off ball players around them
@@TheGamingShogunin what world is Shai a better finisher? lol bron clears easily 😂
@@World_coreshai better in every stat💀

SGA stats last season were better..i wonder why SGA didnt carry them to the play-offs ahahahhaha
OH because he wasnt the one carrying but he was being carried by CHET.
Dude said Chet…. There’s other stats than just points gang.
@@aggghgaabk last season SGA had better stats and couldnt even make the play-offs so whats CHANGE??
oh CHET played 82 games..
THOSE ARE FACTS...CHET is the one making teams fear going to the paint he is also the one who spreads the floor.
SGA is just a stat padder that keeps playing to the last second when his team is winning by 20 points so that he can get his 30 points
and both teams didn’t win a championship….🤷🏿♂️
