LURE HUNTING BELOW DENISON DAM !! (PART 1)

- What is up everyone, Denison dam is currently under construction so water isn't going to be generating for a while. In todays video I took advantage of this and went out treasure hunting for lures in the shallow waters. I also brought the micro fishing set up to see what's trapped in some deep pools. start picking up the lines aswell, if you want to benefit from other people their lost lures, make sure you benefit the nature aswell..

I love doing this dude. It’s such easy money. Pretty interesting to see the differences in what we each found the most too! I usually find lots of crankbaits and jerkbaits, and you found tons of spoons and top water. Great vid👍

@@reyreyfishing Ik! I barely even buy hardbaits anymore bc I know I’ll find one soon lol. I sell the ones I don’t want/already have, and I made $250ish dollars this spring. It saves A TON of money for me, plus, it cleans up the river as well.

You should be removing all the mono line as well. Clipping it and leaving it as you do is bad for the fish and birds.
Yessir I filled up a plastic bag but its almost impossible to clean it all, there's so much and then after a few days more line replaces it

@@WyattPetersen typical answer of the " just dont care about anyone else ilk". Well I watched it. The right thing to do is clean out the line as well and if that is not what you are about, I hope you get tangled relentlessly.
Mostly think of the wildlife that may get tangled in the lines.!!

As a Native fisherman and one who has been fishing for 50+ years, and has seen a steady increase in the amount of garbage left by people I would applaud your cleaning up all the line, and other garbage you find. So many people, especially since the Covid Pandemic, have taken up fishing and are just tossing their garbage in the weeds. I am, by no means an eco-freak, but seriously, people need to pick up their own garbage.
The only thing that bothers me is the repeated use of "Hell yeah." You need to do more narration and less exclamations. People aren't going to watch your vids if you just continuously repeat the same phrase. It gets old quick. Not criticizing, just suggesting something.
You probably got a couple of hundred dollars worth of lures for free and you can't beat that.
Appreciate comments like these, i fished this place since I was younger and I've noticed that its being fished way more than before, which brings more trash sadly. And Ill try to change it up its just that hell yea is one of my catch phrase haha. Thank you again for your comment !

Cool scores but you really should be taking the line that's on the lures with you because you essentially are littering when you cut it off and throw it on the ground to pollute the water. It's the least you can do for a buttload of free lures. You're also leaving crap in the water for others to get snagged on.
I'm not even saying you gotta pick up all the line you see layin' around, but if ya clip a huge bunch of line off and throw it on the ground you're performing the same actions as a person who cuts line off regular fishing and throws it on the ground. Same end result. Gotta respect the waters and keep 'em clean yo!!

Them zebcos are built different lol I use to have a purple one too !
@@reyreyfishing yeah they are stronger than you think. My sister boat-flipped a 3 lb largemouth with the Slingshot one time. Gave me anxiety but thankfully it help up! (I wouldn't recommend boat-flipping 3 pounders with it tho lol.) It's too bad they are no longer in production.
