  • Tingkatulog, which means “sleeping time”, is a folk lullaby from the area of Bohol. The lyrics give the perception that the singer is someone other than the mother. It mentions that the child’s mother will return in the morning, relaying a curiosity about the mother’s whereabouts the whole night.
Come into the world of two siblings and their imaginations as they navigate through living alone with each other, and coping with missing their mother working abroad.

Music transcription compiled and edited by Damiana L. Eugenio in Philippine Folk Literature Series Vol. VII: The Folk Songs, published by De La Sale University Press, Manila, Philippines, 1996.
