We yearn for the feeling of cold powder snow blowing in our faces. Inside a swirling maelstrom of snowflakes, we feel most free.

This guy knows whats up! Just one of the many riders who wants to start up skiing! Go for it man! I have done both and I skied first, tried snowboarding for two years and went back to skiing! Powder and the park is so much greater on skis! You wont regret it!

I can relate to every single word you typed. I live in Denmark, the flattest country in the world. We have no mountains here, not even rocks. the ground consists of clay and chalk, that's it. My family are talking about celebrating x-mas in canada this winter, and even though I don't believe in god I really beg for this to happen.

You know that feeling when you are watching one of these videos and you have tasted the deadly DRUG of powder and you just have to go ski, but you live in the flattest area with the nearest mountain 600 miles away. I have been going through powder withdrawal for the last 310.65 days and I only have one more week of school to go before I get my next powder fix.
Thats how I feel.

That was Josh Daiek. He went so big on that backflip that the wind resistance against his skis sent him into a front flip. Luckily, he landed in a big pile of powder and was fine.

lol two things i noticed after watching all of these like 100 times:
Cliff drop at 3:49 is THE SAME as the one in the roots: Austria episode (at 3:59 there)
and the pool of water at the end can be seen in the bobby's life series (salomon jib academy episode) in the background of filming at mammoth mountain.

Well storm skiing in New Zealand is a little different, you cant even go outside without getting hammered by the wind and any snow that is falling just cuts your face because of how strong the wind is, well 90% of the time anyways :(
