I feel like, even if you can’t adopt Melinda and Jamie, because they are adults, you could ask them if they want to legally change thier last name to yours and celebrate it as ‘officially adopted’ into the family!

They can adopt them. However they would lose certain benefits such as financial aid. I think they will eventually be adopted.

When they first came, Luke was shy and Savannah was looking anxious, she had questions in mind it seemed. Then they started to blend in with family and now all their siblings say how funny, trustworthy and kind they are. They look much more happier and confident for a looong time. @@jessxox4612 Halie asked to step away and get some needed in-patient therapy due to depression. That young lady knew and was brave enough to speak up and speak her truth, and ask for help. She’s been getting and building the assistance and community she needs to thrive and learn to cope/manage the highs and lows of mental health. Crystal and Aaron said that Halie is due to be home next Friday. She’s a warrior!!

@@yagmurgultekin4029 she was dealing with some mental health issues and she wanted to go to a facility where she stays there while getting the help she needed instead of the online she had been doing.
It’s so crazy to see how much Lucas and Savannah have BLOOMED since you guys came into their lives. They look happier, healthier, and like they’ve genuinely found what “home” is. You guys have done so much to make them feel welcome and take care of them, from buying them clothes they like and fit them, to immediately getting Lucas new glasses. You’ve gotten them braces, you’ve encouraged them and supported them through everything. I’m so proud of your whole family. It’s been such an incredible journey to watch and feel like a part of.

Another idea for Aaron's shirts is making them into a blanket. My grandma has done this each grandchild's high school shirts. Now we each get our own blanket
Oh I've seen people take their loved ones that clothes that passed away and make quilts out of their shirts or whatever clothing items the choose but it's usually shirts or jeans.. Great keepsake

Yes! Making shirts into a keepsake is so special. My grandma made a pillow case for me from one of my grandpa’s shirts and I love it. I think blankets and pillowcases are amazing because you can sleep with it and they are there with you. Especially if it’s a loved one who has passed away because then you have your guardian angel protecting you every night 🤍

I was abandoned at birth in the hospital and taken to an orphanage and I have forever known that no child deserves to be in foster care. Every child deserves a forever home. I said to myself that I have to give a forever home to 4 children. I pray God brings me a wife that will support my heart and dream.

Because some people just feel the need to add negative if other people have a a happy day. Just feel sorry for them and leaf it at that. It's still a really happy thing and those kids have there forever home. So let's feel the love and joy and add to that 🥰
Ya we saw two i joked and said it must be savanna and Luke. My teen son said nope its the parents. It's a joke cause we don't understand it either. This was so beautiful.
Seeing Hallie in these clips just makes so sad, the fact that she was going through something but hiding it's so heartbreaking. But I'm so excited that she is gonna come back. Also you can tell how comfortable Lucas and Savannah became thorough time

I have a sister today because 52 years ago my parents brought home little girl to be a part of our family. Adopting is a beautiful and special gift for both the adoptees and for the adopting family. I was so moved watching this video. Blessings and love...

That was super cute to lighten the mood while I was bawling like a toddler. Overall, this whole video was amazing but that little comedy break was perfect.
I can’t be the only one who started to cry when the shirts were being handed out and the message was being said to Lucas and Savannah. The love your family has for one another is truly amazing and so special. Lucas and Savannah are so lucky and blessed to have been brought into such a wonderful family such as yours.

I love the part when the kids say what they love about each other, because the parents promote love and positive thoughts about them and also to develop how to express themselves, I love seeing that! ❤️
This is my second time watching this video. Love that Lucas and Savannah has been adopted into their forever family. It so emotional and you can see and feel the love that you all have for one another. It is amazing that these two kids who were strangers felt safe but love and acceptance as they settle into this amazing family. To watch them go from being shy and unsure to blossoming to happy and outgoing teens. Crystal never apologize for being emotional. It is an emotional day. A day of happiness, that these two will be forever your and Aaron's kids. It is also bittersweet because Halie wasn't there in person but knowing that she is taking care of herself and her well-being that her spirit was there with you all. You can tell that in previous videos that there is a piece of the puzzle missing and can't wait for Halie to come home and complete that puzzle. Congratulations to Lucas and Savannah and to your whole family. May God continue to watch over you and continue to bless you all.

It must be so very hard for kids to come from a foster setting or group home into a strange family. Luke and Savannah are so lucky to have come to this family and its blanket of support, comfort and love. They really lucked out. I can't have been the only one that cried at this, it's so beautiful it's a real shame that Halie couldn't be there too, but it's amazing that at her age she admitted to needing help and is off to become the best version of herself. It made me cry when Crystal put the t-shirt on her bed and kissed it as she was showing that although Halie couldn't be there, they were still thinking of her on such a special day. I'm so grateful for your family, bringing all these wonderful people together to form your forever family, helping children that need a forever home and family that they can rely on in any circumstance ❤

I just want to start off by saying I literally cried for about 15 minutes. Iv seen how far they have came and this is what a true family looks like. I love that you guys hold your word down like real parents should. Iv been watching all of your videos for about 1 year now Iv been blessed to find you guys on here. When I was growing up I had to go live with grandparents because my parents weren’t stable enough to take the right care they needed for me. I hope you read this and you guys are a huge part of my days when you post. I don’t normally comment on videos but I just had to. Something told me to comment as I am still crying as I wright this. Your whole family is an inspiration and al of you are amazing I love you guys and keep being happy and never stop doing UA-cam you guys are a great family. I have to disagree, as I've never seen a quilt with the same exact prints throughout.. unless they put borders in-between them all, ya know ??? But I think all the kids will want to keep those shirts for ever☺ && if they made a quilt, there is only 1 for all to share. Maybe Aaron could make a quilt with his own Father's Day shirts tho ??? 💝
