Another great video! Quick idea popped into my head watching this, you could make a boat launch etiquette video. With your charisma it would be a great learning video for newbs like me. Keep up the good work.
Hi Alfred, Captain Lance will show you what I did in the Coast Guard 50 percent of the time, the rest was actually rescuing people from Burning boats and what-knot. :) I thank you Alfred for informing the public about what to do, good man. Tight Lines Captain Keith
Alfred I have not seen you so busy in a couple of years. I appreciate that you go out of the way too sure that your fans how difficult it is to do best job thank you 🥑
super cool to see the process of a boat tow! It shows the importance of being prepared on the water. Been out of SF gate and seen boats in distress and seeing the coast guard make a rescue. The ocean is no place to be not prepared.
AWESOME VIDEO I've been waiting for this video for a long time. Finally the Capt. Lance ride along. Great footage of different angles even a drone shot. The complete package. Thanks Alfred very entertaining.
Hi Alfred, Re: Towing I once towed in a 24 foot center console powerboat that was 4+ miles out with my 27 foot sailboat with only a 9.9 HP outboard motor on my sailboat. Yes, it is slow, but it can be done.
Thank you, Alfred, Capt. Lance & Towboat US for this video... I have been hoping for a long time that This video would be possible. I hope You will do some more of these videos in the future. I can definitely agree that everyone with a boat should have a membership and it is well worth the money. I wish we would of been able to see how they would of salvaged a sunken boat like the Sea Ray.
Thanks for these tow videos, it is nice to see what Florida has for ocean waters. If you get the opportunity for a ride along with the Miami police, that would be awesome. Keep up the great work.
A captain or operator could be legally prosecuted for not responding to emergency calls for help on the water IF they could have safely responded and rendered assistance. Section 2304 requires a master or individual in charge of a vessel to render assistance to those in danger at sea if able to do so without seriously endangering the vessel or crew.
Huge props to the National Reserves Law Enforcement responding and giving assistance to those boaters in need If anyone takes anything from this video let it be this... Keep your life vests readily at hand, not down in the bow where you can't retrieve them in a situation such as this. Bad things do happen and in seconds, that's when it's truly important. Awesome Video I have been waiting to see for a long time. Much Respect Captain Lance!!! Thank you for bringing us awesome informative content Alfred👊
Alfred out here giving lectures on probably the most expensive day of that captains life so far. Side note boat insurance isn't required but is incredibly useful, same as a boat us, or sea tow membership.
Thanks Alfred and Captain Lance. Another great informative video. I can’t imagine boating there , without towing insurance. Seems like the 200$ is a no brainer. Take it easy Alfred!
Great video great filming and commentary I live in socal and moving to Destin it looks like Florida is crazier than socal lol congrats on one of the best videos online!!!!!!
Do have boat insurance which should also be used while boating regardless of what of boat For this reason also as well although regular fishermen never think about it until afterward, because in Florida I believe that their insurance companies have a salvage policy included in the policy which is the most important part of the insurance policy plan. Boating now, a day is the most important thing to have while boating in today's world. Sincerely! R.S.V.
Good video, congratulations. there was a TV show years ago about boat salvage, you should start something similar in youtube. Start by going around to investigate all the boats abandoned in the intercostal water between Miami and Palm Beach.
In Denmark, we must have insurance for boat, then theres a towing service you can pay extra for, but in this scenario where the boat flips, its a insurance question. So the question for you, is it not common for boat owners to have insurance, so they don't have to negotiabel prices when they just went through a big crash and nearly drowned.. If they dont have, boats are for sure just left by owners in the water, what can they do else.. What if the boat is carrying like 100 liters of oil, then theres a enviroment issue too. Issue is a must by law in Denmark. We got 2 kinds, one (by law) for whatever damage you do to others and in case of this like salvage it - and a extension one, which is not required but, where it cover the boat price too, like, in this case, he just gets a new boat, or the payment for it. So if its worht 100.000USD, he gets that or a similar used boat Price yearly around 3500,- DKK (500USD) for the all inclusive..
Agreed. In this situation they shouldn’t have a choice. Law Enforcement should be able to authorize the tow for safety reasons and owner would just have to deal with the issue later.
Alfred, very interesting video. Question, I'm assuming that the boat flipped when the engine departed and how did they notify that they had an emergency?
I don’t know the laws in Florida , but there is NO WAY that boat should be left in the water . Maybe it’s the same everywhere? Maybe somebody can tell me. Imagine, leaving a wrecked car in the middle of the road because the person driving it can’t afford to have it towed.
Thank you Tow Boat US, Captain Lance and Alfred for this video. Great content good information thankfull those four boaters were ok, the out come could have been so much different. Just shows how fast a good day on the water can change and you don't have time to get to your PFD when stored away. Please were your PFD at all times especially the younger kids and seniors.
Make sure you have insurance on the water. To get towed in by them 1 1/2 miles $810. Where did they get $10? Just charge $800 it was out of gas. Coastguard towed me in same night for free. I would have blew up a tube and paddle in to get gas and paddle back out before i payed $810. Worst and best night of my life won 38000 dollars in the lottery found out on the way home
Sorry to disagree Captain Lance but 'If possible' outboard motors should be tilted out of the water when being towed because the boat being towed creates less resistance to the water and less strain on the tow line. PS: The Biggest advantage to the VHF (over a cell phone) is that EVERY boater on the water hears your distress call for help. If it is an emergency, you want help as soon as possible and frequently it comes from a fellow sailor.
Thanks for the video Alfred, one request, please speak english to everyone you converse with in the videos, its good practice for folks where english may not be their first language, the captain was able to communicate with them in english, no reason for you to speak to them in spanish , thanks man ! 👍
I don’t see how they justify their pricing. I mean this job wouldn’t take half a day but they charge 8 to 10 thousand dollars. It’s ridiculous they believe their service is that valuable that they charge that they make more money than a doctor does . They need more competition in this field!!!! It’s price gouging
Dependa on how close the call is. But at that point he gas a duty to make sure the people hes towing are safe.We have plenty of first responders as you saw
CAPTAIN lANCE SEEMED LIKE THE ULITIMATE IN "NICE GUYS." iF i NEEDED A TOW IT WOULD BE CAPTAIN lANCE. hE SEEMS SURE AND CERTAIN ABOUT EWHAT HE'S DOING.......LOTS OF CONFIDENCE!
There is no reason that the police cant tow that boat back somewhere, or at least put it in a safe spot out of the way. Plus the amount of money they charge to even tow it is unreal. You want to help them out, charge them $80. Thats about what it cost for a local car tow in my area.
Pretty obvious that the guy hit the ground with the motor and tore it off.If you look at google Earth you can see all the drag marks from the props where people are tearing up the sea grass in this area.
Just when you think that things cannot get any worse.. "Alfred Montaner" turns up to rescue you 🤣🤣🤣 It is a good job Lance knows what he is doing .. 💯
Chit show should have sponsored the removal of the broken flipped boat, now that would have been an awesome video to watch
The park service should have a tall bright orange buoy that they can attach to a sunk boat to alert everyone that it's there.
Yes. And make the owner pay for it in the form of a ticket.
The officers comment “are there any shorts?” was funny! Great way to lighten the seriousness of the situation. God Bless our officers.
Some times I forget that Miami is north Cuba, thanks for the reminder.
Thank you Alfred and Captain Lance for an awesome video !!
Another great video! Quick idea popped into my head watching this, you could make a boat launch etiquette video. With your charisma it would be a great learning video for newbs like me. Keep up the good work.
Great job Alfred. Dave from Vancouver B.c. Watching. Also great job to captain Lance.
Best video of the year. Since the sinking of the 300 Verado. Awesome footage through the entire video.
Hi Alfred, Captain Lance will show you what I did in the Coast Guard 50 percent of the time, the rest was actually rescuing people from Burning boats and what-knot. :)
I thank you Alfred for informing the public about what to do, good man. Tight Lines Captain Keith
Alfred I have not seen you so busy in a couple of years. I appreciate that you go out of the way too sure that your fans how difficult it is to do best job thank you 🥑
Alfred is awesome!
Captain Lance is a smart man. He knows a side job when he sees one😂😂 I love it. Great video Alfred!!
super cool to see the process of a boat tow! It shows the importance of being prepared on the water. Been out of SF gate and seen boats in distress and seeing the coast guard make a rescue. The ocean is no place to be not prepared.
That was really good. Super informational , well made, emotional, and lots lots more. Impressive! I think this video could be a movie.
Alfred, every time I think you're out of material, you come up with something super neat like this one. We love it! JW from K.C.
AWESOME VIDEO I've been waiting for this video for a long time. Finally the Capt. Lance ride along. Great footage of different angles even a drone shot. The complete package. Thanks Alfred very entertaining.
Hi Alfred,
Re: Towing
I once towed in a 24 foot center console powerboat that was 4+ miles out with my 27 foot sailboat with only a 9.9 HP outboard motor on my sailboat. Yes, it is slow, but it can be done.
ive done similar boat us. are pirates.
Great video! You and Capt Lance are awesome combo. Should do this more often.
Thank you, Alfred, Capt. Lance & Towboat US for this video... I have been hoping for a long time that This video would be possible. I hope You will do some more of these videos in the future. Lance is the best and its awesome you guys were able to get together for some content.
Ive been waiting for you to go with Captian Lance!!! Very cool Alfred. Captain Lance, thanks for all you do too!!
Alfred, you are a great salesman. When u were talking( @ about 1:08) you included the officers into your story about safety, I loved it.
Very educational I can't stop watching I'm learning so much you are the best Alfred.
That was the goal
Thanks for these tow videos, it is nice to see what Florida has for ocean waters. If you get the opportunity for a ride along with the Miami police, that would be awesome. Keep up the great work.
Great video. Please run some more with Capt Lance !!!
Sounds like a new hat design.
Boaters should be required to have salvage insurance. To have that safety hazard floating in the water is ridiculous! Great video!
More insurance? 😢 as if the cost of living isn't already too high
As it stands anyone that crashed the boat and it’s damaged you can just leave if you want to?
Lmao, more rules and regulations. Eventually we will end up communist with your mentality.
We r from WISCONSIN. Enjoy your ENGLISH show. One point tho. Plz stay on the subject, it takes forever to get a story out 😊
Thank you Alfred and Captain Lance. Really enjoyed this video.
Sweet!! I'm glad to see this finally came to fruition for you! Awesome!!
Very interesting Alfred. Good job Captain Lance, had plenty of respect before, even more so now.

Section 2304 requires a master or individual in charge of a vessel to render assistance to those in danger at sea if able to do so without seriously endangering the vessel or crew.
This has to be one of the coolest videos that you’ve filmed in years!!
great trip guys! capt. Lance is the man to have close by!
Lance the Toe Boat Captain got his "foot in the water" with Alfred!
Huge props to the National Reserves Law Enforcement responding and giving assistance to those boaters in need If anyone takes anything from this video let it be this... Miami has to be " king of towing "with all those 2 strokes
What a CRAZY turn of events!! Thank you for showing us the important work Cpt Lance and the officers do everyday.
DOCTOR MONTANER You need "MARK THAT SPOT" merch STAT!!!
Alfred out here giving lectures on probably the most expensive day of that captains life so far. Side note boat insurance isn't required but is incredibly useful, same as a boat us, or sea tow membership.
Awesome. Been waiting a few years for this one! Thanks Alfred!
awesome work they do as well as law enforcement people, great video!
Thanks Alfred and Captain Lance. Another great informative video. I can’t imagine boating there , without towing insurance. Seems like the 200$ is a no brainer. Take it easy Alfred!
Got me sold, ill definitely get a membership, and a radio..
Very educational. Thanks for doing this.
Great video great filming and commentary I live in socal and moving to Destin it looks like Florida is crazier than socal lol congrats on one of the best videos online!!!!!!
Finally a video with Captain Lance!!☄️🎉🇺🇸💥🌟☀️☄️
great video thank you and Capt.L for the great info and the work Tow Boats US does
Great video Alfred. I want to hear the rest of the jet ski story that Captain Lance was starting to tell! (Jet ski headed to Bimini and sunk??)
Do have boat insurance which should also be used while boating regardless of what of boat For this reason also as well although regular fishermen never think about it until afterward, because in Florida I believe that their insurance companies have a salvage policy included in the policy which is the most important part of the insurance policy plan.

Fantastic chit show today 😊
Hey Captain Lance, you are awesome
Another fantastic watch, thanks bro from Canada
Good video, congratulations. there was a TV show years ago about boat salvage, you should start something similar in youtube. Start by going around to investigate all the boats abandoned in the intercostal water between Miami and Palm Beach.
I guess the owner didn't see the "Caution, No Boat Floating Zone"
This was great! Thank you for it! And I as well wonder what happened with the sunk boat.
Alfred…this is invaluable information…great job. Thanks for

This was a great video! thanks Alfred and capt Lance
One of the coolest videos Alfred almost as good as the tug boat series 😊
Don't leave the ramp without the membership! It's not if, but when!
ya because tow boat us. are pirates looking to capitolize on your emergency. and rape your wallet.
Agreed. In this situation they shouldn’t have a choice. Law Enforcement should be able to authorize the tow for safety reasons and owner would just have to deal with the issue later.
Nice riding boat and quiet engines
Fl needs to require boating classes not a coincidence that he just got the boat!
More of these Alfred!
Hello from Montréal Canada
Awesome info thanks you channel is great!
Hi everyone 👋 from Japan 🇯🇵
You think they would have a Emergency Booey. To mark boat position.
Alfred, very interesting video. Question, I'm assuming that the boat flipped when the engine departed and how did they notify that they had an emergency?
Any job on a boat around that area would be great an every day activities.
I don’t know the laws in Florida , but there is NO WAY that boat should be left in the water . Maybe it’s the same everywhere? Maybe somebody can tell me. Imagine, leaving a wrecked car in the middle of the road because the person driving it can’t afford to have it towed.

Great video Loved this one!!!!
Need update video on that last boat …was it removed
3:07 Welcome aboard ,lol
Very cool ridealong.
Could have excused yourself @3:06 😂

It’s too bad those boaters in the Sea Ray didn’t have the money to get it parbuckled. I wonder who sold it to them.
I assume the boater had no insurance? Wouldn’t that have covered salvage, after deductible? And, I wonder what Towboat US estimated this salvage at?
8 to 12k tow boat us are pirates.

Epic vid man!
Great videos. Just know, you don’t have to constantly talk. 😂
thank you awesome :)
Thanks for the video Alfred, one request, please speak english to everyone you converse with in the videos, its good practice for folks where english may not be their first language, the captain was able to communicate with them in english, no reason for you to speak to them in spanish , thanks man ! 👍
We're in good hands.

“I’m gonna give the customer a call” means be quiet
Alfred, one question, if he was under tow back and a real emg. happens what does he do, when a boat is sinking
Dependa on how close the call is. But at that point he gas a duty to make sure the people hes towing are safe.We have plenty of first responders as you saw
The sunken boat looks like a searay laguna
CAPTAIN lANCE SEEMED LIKE THE ULITIMATE IN "NICE GUYS." iF i NEEDED A TOW IT WOULD BE CAPTAIN lANCE. hE SEEMS SURE AND CERTAIN ABOUT EWHAT HE'S DOING.......LOTS OF CONFIDENCE!
There's no plug on the sea ray
Good video

Did he just farted when he jump in the boat😅😅😅😅😅
