This was my first time with a strong oud scent, and I must say you either love it or hate it. I tried Yum Yum Pistachio, and I didn't like it. Someone told me to let it age and try it again, so I will do that.
Oud Mood gives me rose, and it's literally all I can smell, and not like a sweet fresh rose. A synthetic mature rose that smells STRONG, and it will stay with you for days. I absolutely hate rose. I can do a tiny bit of rose when it's mixed with other things and just like jasmine - in small amounts it's OK. But as a main note it just sucks.
I am starting to venture into the more complex scents, but it's baby steps for me. I do like fruity florals as well. Gourmands are my new obsession at the moment . I really like scents with caramel.
I have the lattafa Yara...the pink....girl I looooooove it, yes it last looooong.

They are good, especially for the price and size. They also last long and project, but are different from anything I'm use to.

The fragrance world is so fascinating to me. I get none of that smelling Oud Mood. It just smells like incense/smoke to me.
I am not a fruity girl unfortunately. Mon Paris (berries) are sooo annoying to me. I like more complicated scents - a mix of this and that.
