Hey 👋🏽 guys. As a perfume reviewer Iv literally owned or sniffed almost all the Lattafas except for a few. Some of the ones here may work for you. So this is not intended to deter you from buying or to make you second guess the Lattafas you love. We all smell scents differently. Cece ❤️🥰
The smelling like smoke part is something that really resonated with me as an African, I hear alot of "western" reviewers say they love the firewood smell, where I'm from that isn't a pleasing or even good smell at all !
🤣🤣🤣
I am Australian and I don’t find Smoky scents cozy or comforting at all! It really isn’t a scent profile I am drawn too.
It's not a "white" thing. It's a regional thing. Westerners get tired of smelling the same fragrance DNA that the major perfumers put out. Looking for something different. A smoky essence to westerners is different. It sounds like Africans are used to burnt smells so they favor western perfumes. I know middle-easterners are into bakhoors, incense and oud. So not all smokes are bad smelling. I would agree if the fragrance is real heavy in smoke or is barnyard animalistic. I don't care for those either.
I'm a Latino who lives in America and I love oud or woody fragrances.
I am from Europe and I love my smoky, woody, oudy fragrances … oh I forgot about my bakhooooor!😂😁😁😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍
@@oldschoolfunkster1 I can completely understand that, I'm mixed race and my Dad loves those smokey scents
I looooooooved this video has to be my top 3 videos you have made, no one gives us the bad side of Fragrances for the fear of being judged
Thank you 😊
Agree! 👍
Hi … Fakhar Gold smells so good on me , floral and sweet. It’s comparable to Givenchy L'Interdit . I have both and have back ups ❤
I noticed a lot of people compare it to L’interdit..l missed that part in mine. I’m glad you love it. We all perceive scents differently ❤️
Do you get compliments when you wear?
U mean fakhar rose?
This is great cee .... ❤️ So many reviewers never wanna to say anything negative out of fear. I love your honesty and trust you completely bc of it.
Thank you 😊
Amen! ❣️
omg.. I went to the store just now and tested most of these list and I hate all of them too.. haha.. seems like we have a similar scent preference.. I will watch your other videos.. I didnt want to buy tester online and get disappointed by them..
Awesome 🥰
Interesting video, thanks Cee. I'm waiting on Fakhar Rose and Khurafi to arrive. Both blind buys. Fingers crossed! 😁
Fingers crossed! Hope you love them 🥰
I LOVE Fakhar Rose Gold. Hope you’re loving it, too
I love how honest and detailed your videos are. And you look so beautiful!
Thank you ❤️
Have you done a video with empties you’d repurchase? If not that would be a really good one! I enjoyed this one so much! I’ve purchased many of your suggestions and I’ve been binge watching your videos ❤
Thank you Mel, lm glad you’re enjoying my content. I haven’t done an empties video as yet. It’s definitely coming in future videos ❤️.
🤣🤣 I love this video, I have fakhar and I actually love her, I love how powdery smooth it is, as for ajwad.. I don’t see myself decluttering it but I won’t be repurchasing. I decluttered oud mood because the saffron + oud was a bit too cloying and annoying to me, I also don’t like opulent musk because of that saffron.
I have Yara moi and I have a love/hate relationship with it, it smells good on my boyfriend and smells like hair relaxer on me..… defs won’t repurchase. Lovely video by the way📌
Thank you for watching. I’m glad you like the video ❤️Happy Holidays
I love Ajwad on my wife, the best perfume that I have smelled on her. Different strokes. Merry Christmas
So true. Merry Christmas to you too
Please make a video of the Lattafas that you kept and why...I like your work...your methodology/approach is more research based which is very important when considering top tier perfumes
I did that video. The link is in the description 😊
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents awesome awesome thank you🙌
Before I start watching I have to tell you that you look amazing
Thank you darling 😒
Love your content as always totally get why you’re de cluttering Qaaed I just can’t get into that fragrance but I LOVE Ajwad!♥️♥️♥️♥️Especially now that it’s cold it’s still a few Lattafa’s on your declutter list I wanna try out. Have a safe and happy NYE!💖
Thank you for watching darling. Stay safe and have a blessed new year ❤️
This is so good, Cee. I'm taking some time soon to cull back those profiles I have too many of. Like, I have 6 or 7 BR 540 dupes or inspired by. No need. And I know what you mean about the "shifting around of notes."
It’s so annoying. The 540 profile has been overly done. They should give it a break seriously 😒
Agreed. Enough is enough 😂
Hi Cee, thanks for the video, I listen to what you have to say and it has helped with saving money on fragrances. The Middle eastern fragrances that I purchase are online and blind buys so videos like this are very beneficial. Love your look today and very pretty for the holidays.☺
Thank you 😊
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents Hi Cee. Yes, I agrre with so manycother people. I am a muslim man from southern Europe and i love thecmiddle eastern fragrances but have to buy them blind online.. so your videos are excellent and help me a lot in my decisions. I love your lattafa videos most of all.
Thank you for being so honest, saves me my money! Now for perfumes that you love and see yourself wearing them for a long time!
You’re welcome. I’m working on that video. I should post it in a few days ❤️
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents Looking forward to that Cee!
Hi Cee! I have 2 of the scents you decluttered, the smoky By the Fireside dupe is hard to wear for me too, very fireplace smoky. The Pure Khalis I like & haven't noticed a Vaseline quality but will look for it. I'm always looking for alien dupes so I just found 2 bottles of Al Shamoukh for $25, thanks!
Hie Ruth. Lovely to see you here. Thank you for watching ❤️
Lol, smelling like smoke from the bbq, I love that! Soooo true....why pay for it when you can smell like it for free, and get delicious food to eat while getting the free fragrance. As always, great review Cee.
🤣🤣🤣thank you 🥰
Thank you for your truth about these perfumes, you decided to get rid of. You want to tell your customers the truth because you are honest in the videos that you do for your viewers, and they rely on your opinions very much, and so do I❤
I respect you so much for your honesty and openness.
You are so welcome!🥰
With this video I now know we have the same taste in fragrances, can you do your best buys for 2022
Let me see if l can do one before year end. Thank you for watching ❤️
When my family goes to the hunting cabin each season, I enjoy it, but I can't wait to get home, shower and get the smoke smell off of me. I can't tolerate a perfume with smoke notes. You shower dress up and then spray smoke scent on yourself? Not only NO but hell no. I totally agree with you Cee!
🤣🤣thank you 🥰
To each his own when it comes to smell and scents!! If cee cee ain't feeling it doesn't mean u won't!!
Absolutely. Thank you Faria ❤️
I agree with you for 17 of the 18 😂
Don't touch to Ameer al oud intense oud. It is a masterpiece for me!😊
🤣🤣🤣
Should try Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold Perfume- getting a back up bottle for myself as it will blow up ❤
Ok darling, will do❤️
OMG CeCe I just found this video of yours, can’t agree more with you on some of these, I’m laughing!
Oud for Glory does smell like tar & tires in the background… and little else!
Fakhr Gold is like grape juice in an old dusty bottle.
Can’t get past the metallic note in Ajwad; wore it to bed one time and nauseated myself.
Yara Moi had an out-of-place gourmand element in the background that didn’t go with the florals and was nauseating.
Qaaed was like a more masculine Shaghaf Oud / Sheikh Al Shuyukh Lux Edition (I think that’s it). No thanks.
Pure Musk is like a “clean cotton” Yankee Candle- I don’t mind this as a bedtime cheapie.
Ameer Al Oud Intense, you’re right, TOO MUCH SMOKE. Way more smoky than MMM “By the Fireside.” As you said, what’s the point smelling like a bonfire?? 😆
Khaltaat Al Arabiya is too pineapple/fermented/masculine for me at times.
I still have all of these hesitate to declutter as my nose is developing, but it’s so nice to have my sentiments confirmed!
Thank you!!
Aww thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you share the same sentiments 🥰
Great content I always enjoy your reviews
Thank you Joseph 😊
I was going to buy Qaeed, for that leather note, but since I have oud mood I guess I can pass. Let me get ishq al shuyuk rather. I was also still deciding between mazaaji and Tharwah for summer and since I am not too big on the rose, i think I must get Tharwah Rather. Thank you so much Cee, great help.
I'm decluttering frenetic delicieuse, initially was giving me headache, doesn't now but I find myself wary and not gravitating to it, even though its beautiful. And 2 bottles i feel are back up worthy in my collection are khamrah and jazzab gold 🎉
Thank you for sharing ❤️
Just want to say hello! 👋 Love your great reviews on arabian perfumes.
Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Thank you ❤️
TFS. I haven’t decluttered any of my Lattaffas so far. I ❤ the ones I have. I have under 10 of them.
Nice. Iv had literally almost all the Lattafas ever made lol so it was easy to let go of 18. 🤣
I'm holding out for winter to wear the camp fire fragrance duping Replica..... I get the smokey comment but personally, I can't wait smelling that in the colder months ❤
Yeah it’s best worn in winter ❤️
Fakhar and Mazaaji are on the way 😬 I hope they stick around. I’m decluttering Waswasha because it’s terribly boring.
I adore AAO Intense Oud, lol! But not a lot of bbqing in my world😉
Hope they don’t disappoint….l found Washwashah uninteresting too 🥰
Hi, so what did you keep from Lattafa, are there any worth keeping?
I used to buy blind Arabic perfumes, only one is a not so good..the others worked for me
Thanks 😘
Oh l have plenty. I’m going to film a video of the ones l kept. I’m posting in this coming week. ❤️
I totally agree with you. Also for me they a lot of them are too harsh. I liked them in the beginning and after a while they are too much.
Yeah. Unfortunately that’s what MiddleEastern fragrances are like. The longer you keep them the more concentrated they become..l guess it’s because of those MiddleEastern spices.
love you .. can u make one video at top 10 beast mood perfume from middle east , but not bad smell like oud al lail 😂
🤣🤣🤣noted
This is great because most reviewer's reaction is "ÖMG this is amazing", which is not very helpful if you are a first time blind-buyer when it comes to Arabian scents. It would be also good to know if some fragrances are mature or girly because the last thing I'd like to smell like is a candy shop.😅
Most Arabian fragrances are mature because of their use of spices. Thank you for watching 💕
Great content as always
Thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🌹
You’re welcome
Hey, thank you so much for all the great review videos. Please, what is a good dupe(by lattafa /fragrance world) for killian love don’t be shy
Lattafa has Ansaam Gold but it’s a bit off. It captures only 30% of LDBS because it’s too soapy.
Lail maleiki is annoying. You got it right. I have one and don't know what to do with it
🤣🤣🤣
Hi. I totally agree with you that Badee al Oud has somethingcvery annoying: it is too smoky, even for middle to older age men. I am a 49 year old, masculine-looking guy and I purchased it because I wanted something that smelled like a boss.. but after wearing this for a few months, I am afraid that it smells like a burnt out boss.
It is certainly not confortable for coworkers..
As an executive boss, I just wear it for meetings in which I want the other party to feel unconfortable and overwhelmed in order for them not too argue too much because they just want to leave as soon as possible.
I not saying it stinks. It does not stink, but it smells a bit like a room where there has been a previous fire and there is not enough oxygen. It makes people want to take distance.. which is excellent in some occasions.
To my taste, it makes people feel overwhelmed and unconfortable. I will not purchase it for a second time.
😂🤣🤣l like your strategy. You’ve described the best setting and use for Badee Al Oud…(only where it when you want people to feel intimidated 🤣) it’s too much and too overwhelming.
Does Oud Mood has cinnamon in it ? :( It is not listed in the notes...If this is the case, I might pass on this one because Im stll traumatised but the strong cinnamon in Kamra ! Lol. Doesnt small like a feminine fragrance to me.
Yes it does
You did it right. If those Scents didnt go with your comfort thats clear to me. 💓
Yes! Thank you 😊
Hahaha that’s exactly how l felt with by the fire place by MAISON MARGIELA REPLICA, l honestly couldn’t imagine walking around smelling like smoke 😂
🤣🤣🤣the you for watching darling ❤️
I think of Bade'e Al Oud, Qa'aed, and Ameer Al Oud Intense as men's fragrances. I love them on the hubs except for Qa'aed, which is too cinnamon forward for both of us. Washwashah is something I gave to younger females from 16-25 because they tend to like raspberry and tuberose (it gives me a headache). Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends is one of the few that really works for me but if I overspray it gives Giorgio Red vibes which annoys me. (Because I trained with perfume houses I never overspray but in the case of Royal Blends one spritz per wrist is the right amount.)
Hey Elsa. Thank you for watching ❤️
I need to declutter Ana Abiyedh white. I liked it at first but it's so harsh and headache inducing. I can't even finish my 30 ml bottle
It’s probably the masculine dry down. It starts off perfectly until an hour later 😊
Hi Cee, did you declutter Asdaaf's Andaleeb? It didn't show up in your recent Lattafa collection video.
No l finished that one. I loved it so much 💕
Love your reviews
Thank you 😊
Laill malik is BEASTMODE; headache inducing ,literaly more than 1 spray is dangerous;great on men though
I agree fakhar is all over d place
Ajwad too, yara moi as a great dry down but that is if u are patient enough to get over the rubber/hair relaxer like topnote,..i love qaead it can be a bit synthetic on warmer days
I LOVE Khaltat ,beastmode, very coconutty with plenty spices, great in cold weather, have to be careful not to overspray
Nice. Thank you for the feedback 🥰
Nooooo!! I love all my Lattafas 🧡
❤️❤️❤️l love them too hey. I had to part with some because l had too many ❤️
I have so many of your declutters. The ones I truly love are Ajwad and Fakhar. I also bought Waswasha, but I went for Sonnet by Ajmal instead. Did I make a good choice?
Oh yes. I think you did. Ajwad was my go to perfume in winter until I got tired of it. I gave it to my sister and up to today it’s one of her signature scents.
I'm curious about Fakhar. I blind bought it for my bestie and shipped it directly to her from the seller with 12 other fragrances for herself and family - it's her favorite of the lot. It's sold out from my favorite shop but maybe in January or February I can try it.
Washwashah smells almost identical to Dawn by Ajmal, but Dawn is a little smoother.
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 I love it so much, but I guess that all comes down to personal preference. It has a nouget quality to my nose.
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents Yay! Thanks Cee. It seemed that when people were first starting discovering the Middle Eastern scents in mass, no one liked Washwasha, but lately I’ve started hearing people rave about it, and it’s said to be marshmallowy, so that got my attention. Anyway, glad to know I chose well! 😘❤️
What do you all think of my idea? : Most of the times, when we suddenly dislike our signature scent, it is because we have developed as a human being and discover new sides or new features of ourselves and then feel the need to have a new signature scent which suits the new "I" which we have become.
Absolutely. It’s like a shift from one stage of our mental state to another. Well said.
Happy Saturday Cee! 🥰❤️
Aww same to you. Have a great weekend ❤️
Hi cee. Wondering if you've tried the range nusuk or rue broca perfumes? Thanks
No.. not as yet
I can not stand Badee Al Aoud either, the black or the amethyst. They were both just too strong/loud for me. I ended up giving both away.
🤣🤣🤣
I saw royal blends in the thumbnail and panicked! 😱😅😅 I might pick up that alien dupe though so I can save my OG alien for special occasions because it is quite pricey here, and apparently has been reformulated into nothingness (according to the fragcom).
🤣🤣🤣
If you have already ordered Royal Blends, don't worry. It's beautiful as long as you don't overspray. I don't get sourness at all unless Cee meant "ripe", it does smell like very ripe and sweet dark fruits. It's my new winter signature fragrance.
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 I've had it for a while and I agree with you, it is quite reminiscent of over-ripe fruit. My only issue with it is its performance.
Wash washa 😂😂😂. I bought the sample. Glad I did. It was terrible. I can’t believe anyone likes that. Glad I watched this. I’ll steer clear of a lot of these. Still got my eye on the musk but I don’t love baby powder smells. We’ll see.
I hope you’ll love Pure Musk. It’s not that bad. I personally just got tired of it. It has a beautiful opening but l hated the dry down. 💕
O have headache with this perfume ,sooooo sweet for me 🥱😅
I want to try Fakhar, Khaltat and Ajwad.
I love Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends and want to try Fakhar and Ajwad. My friend loves the bottle of Fakhar I sent for Xmas.
Khaltat is unique. It doesn’t smell like a typical Lattafa. It has a lemony sour feel to it. I used it for a while and then gave it to a friend. Ajwad is beautiful. It has a Roses Vanille DNA and MiddleEastern spices. My sister wears it always, she even had backups. The only one l found too much was Fakhar. I love the bottle but there’s something in the juice that doesn’t work for me plus it triggered my headache the minute l sprayed it❤️
You should. Iv used all three and loved two of them at some point. Perfume experience differs from person to person ❤️
Hey Cee, I've always wanted to ask this question but for some reason I always skip it. I love your background. And I see those really pretty bags and shoes lying in your closet. Those really catch my eye😅 Would you mind showing your bags and shoes collection. I'd also love a closet tour if you are willing to do it in the near feature. It's just a request. Don't feel too pressured. Hope you're having a great day. Lots of love🥰
Thank you. I’m planning on filming a closet tour in the next couple of weeks ❤️
I almost got rid of Ameer al our intense because all I smelled was smoke lol. But I smelled it on something 3days later that I'd worn when I sprayed it and wow it was gorgeous. I do use it to layer with Jazzab Rose Gold actually as I find that quite sweet (smells like proper Turkish delight) and the mix is just gorgeous.
Sounds good. I layered it before but it still remained super smoky. It’s still in my collection…l will try pairing it with other combinations and see how that goes.
Thank you this helps🥰❤️
You’re welcome 💕
I gave Badee Al oud to my husband and he doesn't even like it🙄. The only one I really adore is Casablanca by Swiss arabian❤️
Yeah Swiss Arabian is nice. I recently got it and l love it 😍
I wish I got what everyone else is crazy for in Casablanca. It smells like stale cigarette and orange creamsicle on me and if I use it as room spray it smells like a lot of people were smoking cigarettes in my apartment. Maybe it needs more time to sit and macerate. Funny how everyone processes scents differently, sometimes depending on pH.
I know yo have a video containing this one but… how do you feel about Al Ameed of the pride collection?
Al Ameed is stunning. It’s a fresh, aquatic masculine scent that feels a lot like the original Dior Homme 😊
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents appreciate your answer.
Do you have a review on the Ser Hubbee?
Not as yet
I also got Fakhar for the rose gold bottle but it was just giving detergent vibes, very minimal vanilla and heavy somewhat bitter white florals. I gave it out to a co-worker and she loves it.
I'm happy I'm never got Ameer al oud. Why would anyone want to walk around smelling like burning firewood 😂😂😂
Fakhar is strange. I still can’t figure it out to this day. As for Ameer Al Oudh all l get is smoke lol 😊
I actually just got Ameer al oud last week and I LOVE it. I’m OBSESSED with it. I guess I love smelling like burning firewood 😅😅
@@jessica_egbe 😂🤣😂🤣 we like what we like 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️😂😂😂
Well this video was entertaining
🤣🤣🤣thank you 💕
I literally felt the same about Fakhar 😩
It’s just a meh 🫤
I should have trusted you more 😢 I just bought Mazaaji. Well it's not that bad, I smelled worse smells in my life but it is just like "meh"... l'm going to get rid of it. I could have made a better decision in lattafa
Yeah l had a tough time with Mazaarji. Sorry for the experience 🥰
Комментарий в поддержку. Очень полезная девушка!
Thank you darling ❤
I love Nabeel fragrances compared to most Lattafa.
There are not a lot of reviews on nabeel. Can u share some of your favourites please. Thank you in advance!
I will add a few to my collection and review them if l come across them 😊
I’m also waiting for her to give a list of the good Nabeels 💕
@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents yay! I will wait for it!
No one on English-speaking youtube talks about that house at all. Do give us some recommendations if you don't mind.
Which Lataffa did you keep in your collection?
I have a video of the ones l kept. I’m posting it next week or two ❤️
My friend had maahir gold and we all hated it, I imagine a 60yr old man with pipe smoke smelling like that😂 long story short… she’s sold it. I can’t believe that fragrance was made for women 😂
🤣🤣🤣 my ribs
Have you ever tried hypnotic poison? Everyone loves it. I think it’s awful. On me, it smells like rubber and playdoh.
It took a while for me to appreciate it and l can only do the Edt not the parfum. I find the Parfum too stuffy.
Every time you say "declutter," I die a little... I wanna show up with a huge bag. 😂
🤣🤣l’m sorry 🥰❤️
I always smell a synthetic DNA in Lattafa fragrances. I didn’t like Khamrah, Yara or even Nebras. Gave all 3 out. But I like Ameer Al oud Intense oud. I’m done with Middle eastern fragrances. I’ll rather save some money and get some good quality perfumes
I’m struggling with Ameer Al Oudh, though lm ok with the other three. Lattafa does have affordable options but l do agree that some aren’t good at all.
There are probably hundreds of ME perfume houses at all pricepoints, maybe explore a different house?
I don't like Yara but only tried a deodorant spray.
Thanks a lot!!!!
You’re welcome ❤️
I got just 3 fragrances from Lattafa - Lattafa Fakhar, Sheikh Al Shuyukh and Khamrah. Fakhar is extremely floral making it almost artificial. Khamrah and Sheikh Al Shuyukh are just too aggressive for my liking. Overall I did not like any of these 3 Middle Eastern Fragrances.
However, recently, I got Middle Eastern Attars from a store in India and I thoroughly enjoy them. I think they have customized these fragrances to the Indian Olfactory Senses. 😀
I would rather stick to Indian and Western Fragrances rather than spending my bucks on Middle Eastern Fragrance Brands.
Unbelievable that you dislike khamrah.. Such is life. We are truly diverse
@@abdulrazaqamedu3839 Oh I am so sorry, to disappoint so many Khamrah lovers. 😞. It's truly unique, I will surely wear it given that i have it but it somehow lacks the feminine touch for me. 🙁
The Attars are not bad. I have a few. I love Khamrah and Sheikh though l can see how those two can come across as aggressive to some peoples noses. Thank you for watching ❤️
It may be too spicy for her. We all perceive smells different Amedu 😊
It is a bit cinnamon heavy and to an extent winter suited. It’s definitely for the spice and unisex scent lovers
Oh no not my Ameer al oud and Qaeed 😄😄
🤣🤣🤣
By default I can smell like smoke 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 you get it lol. l can go to a Shisanyama and literally smell like smoke naturally 😊❤️
❤❤nice
Hey 👋🏽 Susan. Thank you ❤️
❤❤❤
Thank you for watching ❤️
I dislike Lattafa, to me they smell cheap and screechy and synthetic. I am going to see if Maison Alhambra is better. I do love Armaf and Afnan, never had a bad one
Maison Alhambra is Lattafa. The difference is they do mostly Western inspirations ❤️
So u came here for WAAAAAAAR 😡😡😡😡😡🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ingrid8187DS 😂😂😂
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 hahahahhahahah🤣
@@ingrid8187DS 😂😂😂 To be fair, some people share that complaint. I'm the opposite because I love a bargain and a lot of Lataffa fragrances appeal to me. Almost everyone on my holiday shopping list is getting Lataffa this year and I can't wait!
