Is that guy named Donny Osmond? A bit before my time but I remember hearing about Donny and Marie on an episode of Family Guy. It's also cool to see Tom doing the Angel of Death scream on video. The cynic in me always thought it was some sort of studio effect. Surely no one could produce that piercing of a banshee scream and live with their vocal chords anywhere near intact. I was listening to a radio show called "Metal Shop" back around 88 and Donny talked about how he went to a Metallica show to see what all the hype was about and he was blown away and became a big fan after that.
I remember seeing Reign in Blood in our local record store. The DefJam was so confusing! Like huh?! Hip hop label. That crossover of the label really opened my eyes. I saw Slayer on the south of heaven tour supported by nuclear assault. Yup I was lucky.
