As a returning player, seems like a great way to get exotics is to do Countdown and ensure you kill the hunters there (just follow the pack around, most of the time people run between hunters). Don't worry, they die easily as there's 8 of you vs 1, sometimes 2. By killing them and collecting the tags they drop (3 each) you get more Countdown points at the end of the 15 min run. You spend those points at a Countdown vendor, and it costs 220I think it is for an Exotic Cache. Random exotic inside. At the same time, you should be loot targetting on whatever specific exotic you want (so for me, I want the Memento backpack, so I targetted backpacks on Countdown to get a chance of a backpack exotic dropping).
The St. Elmo's and the Eagle Bearer are an absolute must, you don't need both though, just one of the two. They're more useful than any other exotic shown in the video, that's why you'll see half of the playerbase using the St. Elmo's
They each have different strengths. St Elmo's is for slowing down powerhouses targeting the body, eagle bearer is for accurate headshot/target players. There is a reason eagle dropped on Dark Hours.
@@easy6427You can only get the bighorn on legendary missions and legendary Summit in case you don't know, but i don't recommend you to go after it unless you like to go for headshots since that's what makes it good

Love your videos! Have you ever heard of the damage stacker build? We use it in our raids and one player buffs the entire team. Survivalist (status effects), opportunistic, overwatch, true patriot 4 piece, you run SVD with lucky shot due to ammo economy, then Scorpio. All reds and you run the healer ball because again applying heals amplifies damage and it runs around the map for you.
Sweet dreams is pretty nerfed now. It only works on enemies who are Purple and red but not on elites. Just leave it in your stash box as trophy. Use the scorpio its just simply powerful but beware of its use on bosses in Raids and incursions, it backfires on you

The tank role in general manages the elites, Drone operator can be forced to kill them selves. Bomber and medics can be forced out of cover... plus tanks should be running some PFE resistance. Red and purples are a danger soo the sweet dreams does exactly what you need for a tank. thats why you need it, because every agent should have a tank build available.

for solo players that do not have a clan/team, Memento is holy grail...skill build, dps or hybrid build it can be use on all these and help keeping you alive.
I'm pretty confident to get the eagle bearer in less than 450 dark hours raid, there is a lot of players who still can't get it after dozens of raids, I'm starting wondering if this 10% chance of drop isn't just an urban legend.
I'm piecing together the 2 other builds from your "what to do after 40" video. I've been lucky and gotten the st elmo, memento, ninja backpack, coyote mask, and capacitor. How would you build out the skill build with an exotic gear piece? Remove the picaros holster or don't bother?
For me it's St.Elmo, Memento, Scorpio, Ouroboros, and Coyote Mask. Used to use status all the time but eclipse feels weaker to me so vile wouldn't be on my list.
@TuxedoBandido Sorry, I don't understand how to get the Nemesis sniper rifle. In the video you say that you need to stronghold Hyenas. But everywhere it is written that you need to make 3-4 different Strongholds in the invasion mode. Help me figure it out.
It is invaded missions. If I said something different I didn’t mean to. Tidal basin is important. You must get the adrestia named exotic from the locked room at the end just before boss fight. You get the key in the third checkpoint.
No only on the map section on the days of the week where it shows Sniper or just choose sniper and play count down on challenging or heroic, it will drop after couple of runs there, if not use the cash from count down to buy exotic caches at the count down station in the white house on the left next to the seasons station. Also, do the weekly projection, there's one where you donate items and you get exotic cache. Thats how you grind for it. But it will drop on countdown if you do couple of runs eventually if you target loot is sniper
just run countdown you get exotics there and even more when you turn in the currency for exotic caches, ive been playing a month and already deconstructed like 20 exotics cause i got them double etc
You'll be fine. It's an 8 person mission so there is plenty of room to make up for any lack of damage or knowledge of it. I run it on challenging and most of the time you win, sometimes your group fails though. You should complete it most of the time though. @@zuluciushat8764

Is ninja bike only in targeted loot or can be in exotic caches too? My buddy got one from a cache but not sure if he had it already, trying to figure out if I’m wasting time on countdown with backpack targeted loot

Yeah on Rosovelt Island, mostly the mission. You just do it on challenging, it falls for you there, if not do several runs till you get coyote or just do the Map on day of the week where the masks are marked as target loot on section of the map either in washington if not then check NYC, change world settings to challenging or heroic and play as skill build with drone and turret and take down those control point(i got mine falling from one of the enemies on heroic). or set target loot in count down on challenging or heroic hopefully it falls for you.
I have three St.elmos' if anyone would like one I'm brand new to the game and I finally made it to 40 and I farmed countdown for the rest of the day and got the exotic caches.

I have most minor cores high lvl but I can never down another player 1 on 1 what am I missing?
This game is dead/ pc version /. It was updated until it was unplayable. There is no normal set in which you remain standing. Congratulations to the developers. 3710 hours of my life became meaningless.
No way. This isn’t ranking list. Memento is god tier. This is what new players need to get to be able to play all content (eg incursions) and take a roll (eg healer).

Sweet Dreams is always good for the ‘melee attack …….’ For global events.
I like the SD on legendary for the non elites

You can aquire the nemesis if someone has it already and it ddrops for em but outher then that the only outher way is how you said it

I haven't had an Exotic drop since the update.
Well I'm a recent returning player and have a grand total of 2 exotics so I definitely don't have the 6 must haves haha
just run countdown you get exotics there and even more when you turn in the currency for exotic caches, ive been playing a month and already deconstructed like 20 exotics cause i got them double etc

I’ve been trying to do the same thing as you in countdown. I ended up getting one in a exotic cache
Caches , countdown , random drops in the open world or missions . It's in the general loot pool .

I have no luck getting any exotics farming not even on summit on challenging.

There is no project for the coyotes mask, it's from the mission that has coyote as the main boss at the end. The legacy mission for lewis
