I love how the princess isn't holding him or singing as much in the end it is Pallis. I believe it was the creators redeeming him from his previous actions and putting it that Pallis really did love his brother. And Adakais loved him back. Shows the brotherly love amazingly! : )
absolutely amazing. probably the best production of this musical i've seen. i adore the costumes, choreography, added harmonies, and the actors who were all talented and beautiful singers. serious kudos for doing this musical justice!
I love how the Doctor is more overtly creepy in this, as well as the fact that the Doctor isn't left as a loose end. (I'm sure I'm not the only one who wondered where he went in the original.) Out of the entire musical, the Bawaba sisters stood out to me the most, just because their performance and vocal projection was /wonderful/.
I love how Adakias circles around Pallis to face him and the way he corners him while shooting off all of those alliterations. Also the moment Pallis' blade pierces Adakias' side while he's yelling "Brother no!" Gave me chills
Fantastic. I had imagined how this could have been put on stage, and this was better than I could have ever thought. Kudos to everyone involved. I'm certain Thomas Dutton would be proud to see his work realized in full stage production in such quality.
I never comment on UA-cam videos and don't really like plays/musicals, but to the people who made this: this was amazing. The album is one of my favorites ever, and I'd always made up movies in my head but had no idea someone'd actually done a live adaptation. You did a great job, very faithful to the original songs, and the production was excellent. Wasn't a fan of some of the costumes, but a couple of the songs (Holy the Sea and Doctor Doctor) which I didn't even like from the album I actually loved in your play. And I was worried about the ending being dramatic enough to match the album, but you did it. I'm just very impressed. Great work!
I can't tell you how much I love this album, and how much I adore this stage version! I desperately want to play Nidria some day, but since it's such an unknown musical, I'm not sure I ever will.. But this is a piece of art!
Fred Ilac OWNS this role. And the people jumping around add nicely to the insanity. Though Pallis doesn't seem threatening enough. Dan Zimberg is quite impressive and adds strength not originally in the characters. Side note: I love Anhura's dress. It's gorgeous.
omg I am so glad that Pallis killed the doctor in this version. That's one thing that always sincerely bothered me. Where was the doctor while all of this was happening? Did he just disappear? And did Anhura still have to stay with the doctor after all this shit went down? For some reason it never occurred to me that Pallis may have killed him.
strictlyincomplete I remember the doctor was in the background and watching. But let's just say he was knocked out by Pallis slamming a door on his head.
Amazing, amazing, amazing performance. I've been waiting for a rendition like this ever since the album came out and am finally satisfied- this more than exceeded my expectations and even hopes. Thank you. Everybody was perfect.
You guys seriously need to put this on a DVD for us! This had everything I ever imagined, and you managed to make this production just as perfect as the CD. You guys made this production also very unique by showing us what you saw, and I thought it was simply perfect and wonderful. Thank you so much for creating and posting this!
I loved this production! It was amazing seeing the actors and actresses bring the characters to life! By far the best production of Razia's Shadow I've seen!
So many emotions right now! I've loved this album for so long and just this morning I listened to the entire thing again with my little sister and we both agreed that all the musical artists needed to come together and create a play with it (Come on, Brendon Urie would be the perfect Pallis!) Curious I went to see if someone had already made a play and here you are! This was simply AMAZING and really, Pallis and Adakias were portrayed beautifully and exactly as I hoped for! Brilliant job guys!
This was phenomenal. Everyone was amazing. I've been wanting to do a production of this show for the longest time because almost everything I've seen on youtube has not lived up to the expectations I've had from hearing the album. But this has definitely set the bar high for my goals.
This is an amazing version of the musical! It's well made and I'm especially amazed on how the emotions were clear. I especially liked Pallis, he's my favorite character and he was well played in this, I wish this musical had more attentions so we could see more great work like this! Great job!
damn the doctor scene was beast! i still prefer the original voices. they had more emotion and character rather than musical people doing plain musical voices..but this is growing on me. =]
Wow... I don't know why I didn't watch this earlier. I wish I had. I guess I was afraid of seeing a bad live version of the musical. This was amazing, though! The singing and motioning was really cool, the costumes were creative, and you guys made some of the songs your own in awesome, creative ways. I wish Forgive Durden had done a live version, but this was an awesome version. I don't know what else to say.
AMAZING. I loved it!! The only thing that did bother me a bit was the narrator's clothes. D: I'd pick something different for him. but who cares! This was perfect.
Is there ANY way to get a legit DVD copy of this? I would pay good money without a doubt to own a recording of this production, as Razia's Shadow is one of my favorite albums of all time and this was certainly the BEST portrayalI've ever found. So mesmerizing and well done! If anyone knows a way to get a copy of this please let me know!!!

Adakias is my favourite in the album, but in this musical they made Pallis like really sexy.
Every time I listen to this album and it ends, I always think to myself, "Wow, that was beautiful. But what the fuck does it mean?"
WolfgangBoodman Me the first time listening to any musical xD
The doctor in this is perfect 😮
I love how Adakias circles around Pallis to face him and the way he corners him while shooting off all of those alliterations.

Dude yeah I totally love that part where Adakias is just proving him wrong it’s awesome
Pallis did and amazing job. All of them did, really. They portrayed the right emotion. Doctor Dumaya made me want to laugh. XD
BROTHER NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm joining a theatre group in a couple of weeks and I'm gonna mention this musical, hopefully I'll get to Pallis
man i can't get over how great this is
I like the guys at the end they had a some cool outfits that reminded me of something steampunk which is perfect for this.
