    I like the realistic and field use comments. One of the better and down to earth (i.e the real stuff) reviews from someone who really use it.Thumbs UP

    Truly appreciate adding the “extra” sound effects of a pack of howling huskies. Only a musher understands. Down to earth and honest glove review.

    I use a full leather unlined work glove made by Guide Gloves, number 70, and colored them brown with leather dye.
    I used them at work in steel construction and found them to be very hardy, light but thick enough to be good with heat like a fire or hot pots and pans.

      I have seen that brand. Very often, they come white. Is it this one you colored? /Matti

    Personally I found the Dakota's useful around the house. Similar to the Hestra Work series, I see a lot of Ejendals Tegera being sold in the STA cabins in places like Kebnekaise.

    I’ve been looking into getting the Ergo glove and was just looking for some good shots of them on someone’s hands. Not only did you deliver that but I found myself entranced by your reviews. Loved this video and have subscribed! 👊🏻

    I normally use Driver full leather work gloves, in the winter I wear a good quality wool glove in them. A lot cheaper than Hestra and still a bulletproof combination.

    I would agree with everything said here. First Hestra gloves I got were some Reidar, as a Christmas gift. Warm enough for Spring/Autumn, but I don't think they'll be around for a long time. Then I saw Swedwoods on UA-cam using what I later found out were Hestra Job Kobalt. Beautifully supple leather palms and fingers, with breathable backs. Only cost like 10 euros. Great for summer. Lastlty I picked up a pair of Hestra Work Gloves from Naturkompaniet, kinda like the Dakota but only 35 euros. They've been fantastic so far. Ergo Grips will be next and maybe Falt Guides for winter...

      Hestra Job is a lot of gloves/invested dollar.

    👋 Jag köpte Hestra ”ullvante” extrastora och så har jag en vatten- och vindtät vante ovanpå (märke extremities). Även den extrastor. Är det riktigt kallt ute har jag ytterligare en fingervante inuti. Tycker det funkar bra. Lite klumpigt och hålla i kopplet bara. 🙋🏼‍♀️

      Would it make sense to buy a shell and liner for the ergo grip or would you recommend a warmer glove for colder climate?

    • @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA
      @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA  3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching our videos!
      I would recommend a glove that is wind proof. Ergo grip is cold because of the fabric on the upper side of the hand.

    Jeg har opplevd variende kvalitet på geiteskinn, der enkelte hansker ikke tåler å brukes, mens andre holder det man forventer. Hestra Reidar er i geiteskinn, og jeg tror at kvaliteten på geiteskinn er varierende. Dakota er vel i hjorteskinn, og en annen god Hestra-hanske, Oden, er i elgskinn. De virker til å være mer solide. Men det er min subjektive vurdering.

    • @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA
      @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA  2 роки тому

      Intressant! Jag harde verkligen ingen aning om detta med kvalitéer på getskinn.

    have you used an XL ergo grip with gloves underneath? I Layer my gloves but need a tough outer layer that won't be too bulky.

    • @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA
      @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA  3 роки тому +2

      Hello!
      Stina use different of Job gloves with an liner to make them warmer. I just get frustrated when I want to take of my glove and the liner comes out of the glove... :-)
      I haven't test the grip with an liner because of that reason but mabye it's a good idea.
      When it's cold I use some other gloves. I had to make a video about gloves for COLD climate... :-)

      I had something like that some years ago but I don't know if it was exactly that model. I will check them.
      Do you know if Hestra work and Hestra Job is the same?
      Thanks for your advice!

      @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA  3 роки тому +1

      Hello and thanks for the comment.
      I don't know the model Hestra Alvar.
      I know that Hestra have lots of different models and probably you will find something that will fit for you. In Lapland we need something that's brown bear proof and in the city you probably need something that works for street fight and that's easy to use when you stealing handbags from old women... ;-)
      No sorry, but seriously... -3C is not super cold. I would go for the Hestra Grip. It's also kind of good looking. ;-)
