I'm an Indonesian diaspora in The Netherlands & I do agree with your statement "I would happily eat this everyday and be content with life". Struggled with cooking my own meals when I first moved here, but eventually I nailed it. Ingredients are more expensive because of many have to be imported, but NOTHING beats the satisfaction of eating homemade Indonesian food after a long day at work/uni. I'll definitely visit this Minang restaurant when I'm travelling in the UK 🤩
Your absolutely right and yes please visit them. You will love it. I promise you. 🤓👊🏽❤️
I think you are an expat, not diaspora. Unless you are there because of war here or forced to be out there, which i doubt is the case.
@@arifnpm apa perbedaan hakiki antara "diaspora dengan expat" ??
I wish we had more indonesian restaurants in the UK.
Yessss. So do we. This type of food needs to be more available everywhere. 😫❤️😝
Ingredients for Indonesian foods are not complete in UK + it's expensive. Perhaps if I can give you advise, just visit Holland. There are so many many Indonesian Rest in The Haque.
@@LSN21 yes that is true. And yes hopefully we start to visit all of the countries and we definitely want to go to Indonesia for sure.
@@Bufflunch : Please do come to Indonesia. We have a lot of spicy foods with a lot of flavors + ingredients. 😁✌
@@LSN21 yes we would love to and plan to come in the future. 😋🙏🏽
Soto Lamongan is a comfort food when you don't feel good on your stomach. Its simplicity on flavour is the point 👌
🤤👏🏽 and yes we love it ❤️ great comfort food.
I agree but actually Soto Lamongan isn't Minang Cuisine, Lamongan is a region from East Java. They should serve you Soto Padang
look so delicious.. can't wait to try Indonesian food here in Germany
Honestly try iy. You will 💯 percent love it. ❤️🙌🏽🇲🇨
We proud of Indonesia 🇮🇩
I just read a comment from a UK person who was on vacation in Indonesia with an Indonesian UA-camr in the UK.
He said, "So far my life has been monotonous... thank you for introducing me to Indonesia".
Indonesia has many natural and beautiful cultures, the food is delicious, and the people are friendly. We are very grateful for that. 🤲
Everything you said we agree with and we love everything about Indonesia too. ❤️🇲🇨🤓
@@Bufflunch Thank you so much sirs.. 🙏.

the chef did a great job.. that is indeed the traditional way of cooking all of the dishs that you've eaten.. shout out to the chef 🔥
The chef was absolutely amazing and they are such nice people and very hospitable. Definitely a big shout out to rhe chef and his son.
Keep reviewing food from Indonesia and don't forget to always write the word Indonesia in the title. Believe me, your subscribers will increase thousandfold, because Indonesians watch UA-cam very much and are very proud if the theme they discuss is about Indonesia, especially about food. And don't forget to translate it into Indonesian language.
Yes we appreciate all of your support and ye we have tried to put some translation on this video. If you click the cc button you can choose Indonesian because we manually added an English subtitles file to help with the translation. 😊👊🏽

As Indonesian, I love dendeng balado. It's my favourite. Can't stop eat this food when it comes to your mouth 🤣😂
Hahahaha yes ever since we tasted it we can't stop thinking about it 🤤😝👌🏽
Yang menakjubkan adalah banyak varian dendeng yang tersedia...
Dari jenis penyajian:
Dendeng lambok (lembab)
Dendeng kuah
Dendeng kering
Dari bahannya:
Dendeng belut
Dendeng ikan
Dendeng sapi
Dendeng paru (lungs), dll.
Dari cara masak;
Wow..So make my stomach so hungry by serving Indonesian cuisine in the UK like this, the food and you guys are amazing👍❤️🇮🇩
Thank you so much for the compliment. It means alot to us. Honestly 🙏🏽❤️
do you know why i love watching indonesian food reaction videos. it's because I know the taste . see other people also enjoying the food. I'm very happy and tasteful
Yes thats understandable and let me tell you, we absolutely loved your food. 😝😝😝❤️
Indonesia has a lot instant noodles, but the one that has a lot variety of Indonesian flavour is Indomie, you guys should try it. And maybe someday you can make another video, battle video between Indomie and Mi Sedap (another brand from different company). That will be fun😊. But thankyou for another video with Indonesian cusine😊
Yes I have personally had indomie a few times and tried some of their flavours and they are great I don't think I have tried Mi Sedap hahaha. But ye that would be a good video. And we're glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching 🤓👊🏽❤️

The food is one of the reason why there's not a lot of Indonesian immigrate to other countries. They just simply cannot live far away from all that flavor
Hahahahahaha that is probably true because it makes me want to go and live there and never leave hahahah
So happy to see your reaction, those kind of food that we can find everyday in our country. We're so lucky, aren't we? 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes you are very lucky. And thank you for watching. 🙏🏽❤️
The dishes that you two eat are only a small part of the types of food that exist in Indonesia. we have thousands of islands and hundreds of tribes with different cultures and cuisines. please come to Indonesia and try to review everything, you will never run out of themes.
Yessss 🤤😝❤️ honestly so far we havnt tasted a bad dish from this culture yet and I'm sure all of your food is amazing and yes we hope to come. 😊👊🏽
@@Bufflunch Seriously, for example soto (soup), in Indonesia alone there are hundreds of types of soto with very varied contents and flavors. Another example is Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Indonesia also has hundreds of types of nasi goreng. You can compare 5 types of soto in just 1 video content.....hahahaha.

I have never eaten daging domba (lamb meat) in Indonesia. Indonesians say lamb smells. But goat meat is everywhere. And the word you are looking for is ENAK (delicious) to describe the food. It would have been nice to get your girlfriend’s opinion being as she is Pribumi ( 100% local girl). Nice move too guys using your right hand to eat. That’s how to do it in Indonesia too. Minang or Minangkabau completely one of famous ethnic from Indonesia they main region in West Sumatra island, besides they famous cuisines it's delicious, Minangkabau also as known as the country where the leaders of the Indonesian nation were born, especially the founders of the Indonesian state (Indonesian founding fathers). @@Bufflunch Minang cuisine is not malaysian cuisine. Minang race is solely in Indonesia. Minang race originates from Padang, one of Indonesian provinces. Malaysia does not have any minang race nor does it have a region called Padang. Foods like Gulai, Rendang, are not malaysian food at all. They are originially from Padang, west Sumatra, made by Minang people. Laksa is a thai dish. NOT malaysian food either. Just for uour other info though, if you go to singapore and eat singaporean crab with its sauce, they basically have stolen from Minang People. In Padang, West Sumatra, the dish is called Kepiting Saus Padang. It shows where it originally comes from. So basically, malaysia tries everything they can to steal indonesian and other countries culture. So does singapore. Not that you did or said anything wrong in the video though. Anyway, great to see birmingham also has got authentic Indonesian cuisine. Keep up the great videos!
@@timtam1305 Wrong, i'm a Minangkabau from the Chaniago clan, born and raised in Padang. We had a colony in Malaysia now called Negeri Sembilan, it used to be our place of Rantau and a Minang settlement. They even have Minangkabau colour as their state symbol, which is red, yellow, and black. Most of them are Minangkabau or Malay with Minangkabau descent, and they have almost similar culture as Minangkabau in West Sumatra Heartland. Our last royal descendant from Pagaruyung kingdom actually lives in Negeri Sembilan, not Indonesia, and they are as Minangkabau as we are in Sumatra. And yes they have their own Rendang and everything my ancestors brought to their land.
So shut the hell up with your bogus knowledge.
sekian, dari putra minangkabau.

Beautiful interaction, with a hint of a bully 😂 tone it down on that, dude. Appreciate the way you guys tried your best. Don't mind the fighting people. The Indonesians and the Malaysians only fight online, the dispute very rarely happens in the real life. Mostly, when they meet, they will soon mingle with each other like a long-lost family. Btw you don't have to order a whole table, you can just eat 2-3 menus in one video and keep the rest for the other videos. We love to see mukbangers who finish the plate because it's also the etiquette in our country to finish the meal to the last grain and drop. But again, have a great time!
Hahahahhaa. Yes we understand. And yes we would love to do those videos for in the future and we will try to do some of that for you guys. Minang cuisine is not malaysian cuisine. Minang race is solely in Indonesia. Minang race originates from Padang, one of Indonesian provinces. If there're any Minang People in malaysia, they migrated from Padang, West Sumatra. Minang People have their long history of so much richness in terms of foods, traditional dances and traditional houses of Minangkabau that are so unique in terms of their architectural structures. All these show their rich indigenous race of Padang, West Sumatra. Minang People are In FACT still the dominant race in Padang. Malaysia does not have any minang race nor does it have a region called Padang. The small number of Minang people in malaysia migrated from Indonesia. Foods like Gulai, Rendang, are not malaysian food at all. They are originially from Padang, west Sumatra, made by Minang People. Laksa is a thai dish. NOT malaysian food either. Just for your other info though, if you go to singapore and eat singaporean crab with its sauce, they basically have stolen from Minang People. And this term is a term used to expose how malaysia has been trying to steal cultures from Indonesia. Races in malaysia only consist of malay, chinese and indian. Malaysia has been trying to justify their thefts of other countries' cultural dishes by trying to depict to the international community as if the stolen cultures, dishes, cultural clothing like batik, as if all of them originates from malaysia, by using the word "Serumpun" which basically means one bundle. All of the islands of malaysia were, IN FACT, just tiny part of the regions during the reigns of The empires of Sriwijaya and Majapahit. Each of the Sriwijaya and Majapahit empires lasted for between 300-500 years in the rich history of Indonesia, which people during those periods refered to Indonesia as Bumi Nusantara, and the term Bumi Nusantara also covers all the islands and sea, including all of malaysia and phillipines. It is utterly disgusting to see how those malingsials continue to shameless try to claim other countries' cultural heritages as theirs. All these that I have said can be searced on google if you want to learn about Padang and Minang People in West Sumatra, Indonesia. So, be careful when addressing which foods they come from. Otherwise you are going to insult Indonesians by wrongly refering Indonesian national dishes as other country's. Yeah, Gulai, rendang, perkedel, sate, soto, they are all Indonesian national and cultural dishes. All these said, it is only for your information. Not that you did or said anything wrong in the video though. Anyway, great to see birmingham also has got authentic Indonesian cuisine. Keep up the great videos!

That's why we always have a hard time finding food that suits our tastes abroad
Yes that'd understandable because these dishes have such great and big flavours. It's hard to replicate that .
Bisa dicopas cara penulisan begini utk perangi para malingsial itu. In Padang, West Sumatra, the dish is called Kepiting Saus Padang. It shows where it originally comes from. So basically, malaysia tries everything they can to steal indonesian and other countries culture. So does singapore. If you ask Indonesians about malaysians, most of them know about the term MALINGSIAL, which literally means F@CKING THIEF! Good luck for your channel bro
Greetings from Bandung , Indonesia
🙏🏽🤓 thank you bro. We appreciate the support. ❤️
believe me, without even trying it myself, that's traditionally. Just like what we have it here. especially that "Dendeng Balado" one.
and one thing, most of the menu you try there (except for Soto Lamongan and Kwetiau), are actually served as an addition to eat the rice here. We rarely just eat it without rice. I mean, a small portion of those menus, and a dish of rice.
Yes it was all amazing and your right, we also had it with rice eventually but we just wanted to taste them as they were to taste. Thanks for watching 🤓❤️🙏🏽
