    The assembly of the lawn mower could be done without any problems ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend I just puzzled something about the red strange “key”. However, it quickly turned out that this creates a kind of contact bridge between battery packs and lawn mowers. An additional backup as a father of a 1 year old nephew is great!! :-)

    Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.

    If you are going to drag that mower backwards then invest in some steel toe boots. I have had a number of men come into my clinic after amputating toes while mowing the lawn. They explained that they either pulled the mower back on top of the foot or they slipped and their foot went under the deck while mowing backwards. Just like your out take shot at the end where you fell. Just mow safely, mowing backwards can be hazardous to your toes.

    • @brnt_p0tato218
      @brnt_p0tato218 3 роки тому

      I mean you are pretty Ddamm stupid if you mow your toes off because of the simple reason of mowing backwards. You just need to be careful. Its not really hard

      @@brnt_p0tato218 I totally agree. There is a reason the they print “Do not give this plastic bag to your child to play with” on the bag you new TV comes in. If he reads the owners manual for the mower it will have a section on safety and I bet safety shoes will be mentioned there near the top of the list. I am sure he would never intentionally pull the lawn back on top of this foot but I have seen evidence of the same from the patients I have treated. They never intended to do it, it was just a momentary lapse of judgement. If you watch the expression on his face when falls going backwards you can see he was surprised it occurred. I bet he never intended it to happen, or thought it would. The recipe for an injury is present in this case, wet heavy grass, tennis shoes with little to no tread, and pulling a heavy lawnmower backwards in tall grass. I am sure he learned from that ‘near miss experience’ and he will build on it as he becomes a more experienced landscaper. The goal is to reach retirement with all your ‘original equipment’.

      @@brnt_p0tato218 Sorry to belabour the point. I knew what you were getting at and I agree. My apologies. I was hoping to turn it into a teaching moment for the young fellow. I had a shop teacher who preached “What is the worst possible thing that could go wrong when you are about to do a procedure on a machine?” And I think about that every time I walk up to a machine in my shop. One of my fellow clinicians who saw people for upper extremity injuries ( table saw, chainsaw, crushing injuries) used to have a sign in his treatment room that said ‘It’s a mistake to let a machine know that you are in a hurry!’ UA-cam is full of people who never give it a second thought when the decide to trim a hedge by picking up a running lawnmower! ...and Google says "Simply, put, your mower will not perform as well when mowing in reverse. There are a number of reasons for this. One of the most immediately noticeable problems is that the grass will not get discharged underneath the deck. I wasn't there ... but ... I'm not sure I get the logic for mowing forwards and backwards and not going the full length on each section. Also, since he had to mow it two or more times I wonder why he didn't raise the cut height up on the initial cut? Once again, I wasn't there.

    • @JodieAnn67
      @JodieAnn67 2 роки тому +3

      He’s young and at first the do it the hard way 😂 If they do it in sections so they don’t have to move the camera constantly. When the grass is very long and they don’t use a grass catcher going back and forth mulches the grass into smaller pieces and brakes down the larger clumps. Which I think is great when the grass is short and mowed regularly. I personally think this grass is to long and thick for the it to mulch down enough. We didn’t get to see the finished job but I hope majority of the clippings were removed. To me the job doesn’t look done with the clippings left behind 😊

One of the most immediately noticeable problems is that the grass will not get discharged underneath the deck. The cut is irregular, since mowing backwards means that the blades are running in reverse".

    I have a Toro as well, there's nothing wrong or out of sync with the blade and the rest of the parts, man it's the motor, no matter what size it is, they are very cheap on humping up their Motors! Just as bad as black and decker/ craftsman. I have them both in my basement and can't find parts for neither one of them! Talking about American ingenuity?
