Liam laughing at his book of cat jokes in the backseat is just about the most heart warming thing I’ve seen in a long while. I have a grin from ear to ear now as I’m watching the rest of the video.

I love watching this. I love watching you and Liam interacting. He's such a cool kid and you're such a happy, funny mom. I know we probably don't see the difficult parts of parenting but you seem so level headed.

When Rob got all excited and said "ooh can we get beers, burgers and blizzards" I had to laugh because that is exactly something my husband would say, same excitement level too.
I just want to say, I love your family and your relationship with your son is the best. I always laugh and smile at your interactions together and can tell how much you value it. I know you have said before you struggle with the juggling of all your commitments in life, but you are killing it with your family if this is any indication. All the love.

Lincoln in the Bardo was a book that I read and was gonna give 2 stars. But I had heard such great things, so I decided to read it again immediately after finishing. Ended up giving it 4 stars. I think my problem was that I had read it too quickly. Hope you end up liking it!
You should 100% still read Washington Black even though it didn't win its vote! Its written by a Canadian Author, and part of it is set in Canada. I think its going to win the same prize as Lincoln in the Bardo did last year (the Man Booker Prize). I'm about 1/3rd through right now - so far it's a thrilling adventure as well as an emotional account of a slave

I actually enjoyed There's Someone Inside Your House. My mindset before reading was that it was similar to all those cheesy teen slasher films I grew up watching with my older brother. Plus, Stephanie said that was the whole point of the book. So that helped with my enjoyment. I didn't expect too much from it. It was pretty creepy at times and it didn't help that I was reading alone at night. So, I gave myself nightmares. But I hope you like it. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.

Yes! I also picked up Lincoln in the Bardo at my local value village! I actually read There’s Someone Inside Your House for last years spookathon! I thought it was pretty good? I mean, it was my first ever Stephanie Perkins book. Hope you enjoy it! I feel like 13:11 everyday of my life! Like “The SUN! IT BURNS!!!!” 😂

I love that book store and funny enough (before I saw this video) I went to Indigo to look for Toil & Trouble and they didn't have it and I basically hit myself over the head because I KNEW Mosaic would have it. Lincoln in the Bardo is an amazing book! I only picked it up because of the hype, and figured it wouldn't be my thing because it was Civil War-era fiction and about real people, both things I'm not crazy about, but I ended up absolutely loving it. One of the few books that's worth the hype in my eyes.
The audiobook is fantastic! There’s a cast of over 100, with actors such as Lena Dunham, Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller and Megan Mullally. I was struggling with the physical book, so if anyone else is, get the audiobook - it’s such a unique story.

Sorry to leave a second comment: I have a book rec for you to read with Liam during spooky season. My absolute favorite children's book is Dial-a-Ghost by Eva Ibbotson. I read it every year on Halloween and it's a fast, fun read. It is a little spooky but I think Liam would like it. It was one of the first books that made me love reading.
I love mosaic books! I keep trying to pressure friends to stay in the city so I have an excuse to go and buy more books.

I loved this video. I'm not done watching it yet but I sometimes forget what I want to say...lol...I'm 53 with 7 kids I am allowed to forget ha ha ha....anyway I just read There's Someone Inside Your House recently and I have to say I was really surprised by how much I really liked it. I started it the same night my husband started his new nighttime job and I was pretty creeped out by just the first murder. I had to stop reading it....then it was a little to much downtime before the next murder but again super creepy...so in all I LOVED the book and having 6 boys I am not easily spooked but this book did it for me.....maybe because it was my first night alone...Yep that is what I am chalking it up to. I think it's a great October read personally.
