No lie, Peter Parker and Tony Starks relationship was one of the BEST relationships I’ve ever seen on the big screen. The father and son moments felt so real. Everything Tony did and said was to keep Peter safe. As much as he wanted him to be part of the team. He wanted him safe above all. Their relationship I will cherish. Because when Iron Man died. I cried. And when Peter died I cried. I cried so much. I hadn’t cried that much since Damon died leaving Elena so heart broken.
@@dancrowsz Since these alternate universe beings were coming through to find Peter Parker specifically, Peter realized the only way to undo this was to have Strange cast the spell again, making everyone forget he exists entirely.
Probably one of the saddest things about infinity war is Peter Parker was the only one who could actually feel his death because of his spider senses...
@@mariaakinkuolie7610 He can't feel other peoples pain, But while he was, y'know, turning to dust, his ultra-healing (or whatever the heck it's called) was trying to put his body back together as he was turning to dust. Which is part of why he lasted longer than the others as he turned to dust, giving enough time for the whole "Mr. Stark, I don't wanna go" thing. So, he was one of the only ones in pain during his death, not because he could feel other people's pain, but because his body was trying to pull itself back together as it was being torn apart. Does that make sense? (sry late reply)
The saddest part in this movie is that fact that Peter and Tony never got that chance to spend much more time together. He's gone, peter has no one to look up to, no one to call father even though their not related by blood. But the important part is that the whole team treats each other like family.
“i lost the kid” not even worried about humanity in that moment. He really cared for peter, if he didnt care, he wouldnt of given him those suits, he wouldnt be scolding him everytime he messed up. He really thought of Peter as one of his own.
“Peter, you’re struggling to have everything you want while the the world tries to make you choose. Gods don’t chose, we take.” -Green Goblin, No Way Home.
Totally agree. At first I didn’t believe it . He can’t die. I don’t want him to. He’s an amazing man and I still hope they tonna find a way to make him come back.
This relationship was probably the best one that was ever shown in avengers. Tony wanted Peter to excel beyond anything he could do because Peter hasn't made the mistakes yet that Tony had. Tony knew he was at the end of his limit and realized he could start Peter there instead of forcing him to build the exact same thing by himself. In Far from Home Peter finally understands why Tony tried so hard to keep him as then friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He was trying to buy him time while honing his skills, to grow up without add the pressure of his identity being known. Now he has to step out onto the larger stage and now he has to face into the wind with no mask to protect him. Tony chose to unveil himself as Iron Man Peter did not choose to have his identity revealed but now he will have to come to terms with the same things as Tony and all the other avengers did but at a far younger age.
I wonder...Peter's "death" was Caused by magic and Tonys death is too...soooo...wouldnt it be fair if Tony was broughten back in a different way but Alive?
At the start where tony goes to open the door for Peter and tony says ‘no we’re not there yet’ and then coming back to endgame where Peter comes back, Tony hugs him. Their bond (even when Peter was gone) stays strong, and then to have tony leave Peter is absolutely heartbreaking. They both loved each other 3000.
I Think the reason their relationship is literally the best relationship ever seen on screen, is because their relationship in real life is basically the exact same😭
this made me so sad when mr stark died peter just kept telling him that he did it he won but peter really just wanted to believe that tony wasn’t completely gone and that maybe he could still hear him. And peter just wanted his dad back he lost so much he didn’t want to lose his father figure again.
I don't know why this makes me so sad, I can't control my tears, Literally I can see Tony's care for peter as a father in each and every second and I can also see how Peter missing him so much and his guilt feeling for Tony's death
The fact that Tony literally risked losing everything he’d made over the past 5 years, including his own daughter just to even have the chance to see Peter again makes my heart swell. He really loved him like his own and went to every extreme to get him back. If it weren’t for Peter, Tony never would’ve even tried the time travel and half of the world would still be dead. Their bond was really like no other, they were an actual father and son and I’m sad that we won’t get to see more of it and that Peter will never know that the whole reason Tony went back in time wasn’t to bring everyone else back, it was to bring him back :( They deserved better🥺
I love how Stark gave the smallest of nods when Peter asks “can you hear me” Even when dying he wants the kid to know that he’s still important to him and listens. He is dying and found the strength to give a nod.
I was literally sobbing for 30 minutes because of this. This has to be the best video about them, the paralels, the cuts THE EVERYTHING UGH MY HEART IS BLEEDING
Everytime I think about tony I remind myself that he’s gone forever and we cant bring him back and knowing the fact peter basically lost every father figure he’s ever had and then tony steps in but peter loses him too. It makes me cry every time. I really hope we can bring him back, that would be amazing.
You know what, they were planning on bringing Tony Stark back but RDJ wanted to be paid more than what they offered! Honestly, I love Tony Stark but I think this will really ruin the mcu!
Watching this made me think of 2 things. 1. Peter and Tony's dynamic and relationship is amazing. I always knew that they had a father-son relationship, but watching this made realize just how good of a relationship they had. 2. Peter has gone through a lot more than most people realize. He lost his parents (1st father figure). He lost his uncle, and conciders himself responsible for his uncle's death. (2nd father figure). He is teased at school for being poor. He doesn't have very many friends. He lives in a small apartment with his aunt. He died in front of Tony and came back 5 years later only to watch Tony die in front of him. (3rd father figure). Tony was practically the only one who believed in him. He is expected to be the next Iron Man. He gives Mysterio the one thing that Tony left for him. His identity is revealed to the world. He has lost 3 father figures already. Everyone is telling him he isn't ready, yet expects him to save the world. He has to help deal with the aftermath of the blip. And he is still only a teenager.
When you lay everything out like this you realize how much confidence and self-esteem Tony gave Peter. When he first appears in the movies he is shown as this teenager insecure about himself and trying to give himself meaning with these new powers. I really loved how they wrote this dynamic, and it's sad to see it in a beautiful tragedy. :(
Being poor, being bullied, and getting bamboozled by a Bad guy who pretends to be a good guy, makes spidey a relatable character to a lot of us normal people. Tony is that man with a bad past, big bank account and big brains. This makes Ironman relatable to most people who are well to do. Ironman and Spidey made a great combo that complements each others character development.
@@Mena01099 omg yes. i was thinking of that after the movie. Like how dr.strange told him bye, was kinda how Tony would tell him like strange stepped up kinda as his father figure.
The one thing that he did that he didn't second-guess was picking you." that line says that peter was more than a friend to tony, he was his whole world
I keep imagining Peter going to Strange after the events of No Way Home and asking him (after things get explained enough for lack of memory's sake, of course) if the memory spell, since it can trescend the multiverse, also applies to the dead. Whereas Strange, whether he himself believes in any form of afterlife or not, might say something like, Time and space in the present physical world being manipulated to reverse death is one thing, but he never came across anything in his study of the mystic arts to suggest that they would be directly applicable to any realm where the dead already reside. So chances were that, should there exist an afterlife, that the loved ones peter lost before the memory wipe, still remember and love him, and are proud of him. ....if that makes sense of course. Granted, all I know of the Marvel comics is what I've seen in the movies, so I'm not sure whether this imaginative scenario of mine would be contradictory. (Shrug) It just comes as a nice thought for me personally.
@@0RtistiC it really is fascinating how duly you’ve thought of this (although of your personal judgement) Let’s see what mcu brings and what idea it makes of the Multiverse

The fact that tony died I feel like peter took it the hardest bc he was like a farther to him and I feel like if toney had lived Peter would have even said to tony that he’s like a farther to him and they clearly care about each other and this is whole video made me cry and the fact that the picture tony and peter took, changed everything one look at it changed Tony’s mind if only tony was there to tell peter this
Caitlin Manansala he might be alive bc I have a theory that they took his body and used the thing that they used to ressurect the shield leader colon I think
I'm literally crying *my favorite quote:* "you can't be a friendly neighborhood spider-man if there's no neighborhood ~Peter Parker" all he wanted was to help and he knows the cost of letting thanks destroy everything. sometimes it's not just to prove himself, its to help others. ever since the first movie that Tom Holland had played spider-man, there's something about the way he presents himself as *The real spider-man* and makes spider-man become someone who isn't just a normal teen who got bitten by a spider and decides to help out around his city... He makes spider-man a actual part of this world. I grew up watching Marvel, DC, and all of the older spider-man movies, and I'm only a 14-year-old female. Yes, I have to agree, Tom Holland is a cutie on and off the screen but him playing spider-man really just opened not only my eyes, but everyone else out there that he is *the real spider-man* I never really like the spider-man movies until I realized the importance and the situations behind them. Peter Parker is a teenage boy who lost his parents, and his uncle who really was such a role model to Peter just like in real life, my uncle is to me. Avengers *Endgame* really tore me apart.I mean two people with such a bond like Tony and Peter, Imagine being to someone so close and they do everything in their power and when they think they failed, they didn't but instead, they are the ones to leave. Tony was ripped apart when he saw all the victims in the blip and when he saw Peter's face, he absolutely lost it. Someone that important to him was gone, or so he thought. Spider-Man *Far From Home* after Peter lost Tony, He gained a new friendship but instead, ended up being someone who was going to hurt people. After Peter got hit by the train, Got tormented by Mysterio, and everything in between, talked to Happy and told him about how much of a disappointment he thought that he was and started crying. Never in my life would I have thought that such a scene like that could absolutely change your perspective on life. In my personal *opinion*, I would have never become the young woman I am today, without these figures like Tom Holland (Spider-man), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and all the other Marvel characters. Peter Parker really made me realize that even if I will always still have something --- The ambition to do what is right. *with great power, comes great responsibility* - Spider-Man's Uncle Ben :) ok. so i did blab a lot but its really important to me because this video really made me think about the world lately :) love you all (and tom holland) blabber out (peace) :) EDIT : holy crap.
That you're so introspective and talking about it is great to see in such selfish times. Kudos! Note: these movies and their characters are so well-crafted that I'm not not suprised they've impacted/inspired you for the better, but I sure am glad you've mentioned it because, in this day and age, it's all too easy to expect the worst from others. Blessed be/じゃね/take care!
This relationship is golden. Tony treats peter like a son and peter treats tony like a father. My tears are gonna break my keyboard but this is worth writing. Tony is bossy funny and controlling which makes him the perfect father. Peter is mature, annoying, and a fighter witch makes him the perfect son. Seeing him die in tony's arms was what made it rain on my keyboard. Then seeing tony die right in front of peter is even worse. Their love is something you don't see every day. Their story is the best thing to watch but also the saddest. I love tony and I love peter but there is always a time in life when someone has to move on. Tony died a hero and so did Peter. I watched all the avengers movies and after seeing this it just triggered me. I can't keep it in. I cried. RIP Tony stark

It’s sad to think that Peter will never know that the world was saved and brought back by Tony because of him, Tony seeing a picture of Peter made him save everyone and Peter will never know…
@@jaydenaugustt in endgame tony found the photo of him and peter right after telling scott he won't go along with the time travel thing. seeing peter was the only motivation he needed to completely risk everything he had and risk the life he made over the last five years just to bring him back. in the end, the real reason everyone was even able to come back was because of tony wanting to see peter again, and peter will never know that he's the reason tony even did what he did, that he's the reason half the universe is alive again.
I wanted him to call him dad too, but I think it was more impactful for him to say Tony, because it was the one time he called Tony by his first name instead of Mr. Stark
Peters actual parents died to a villain just so everyone knows his original parents didn't abandon him or something then uncle ben died tony definitely was a father figure.
Fun fact when peter was turning into dust he kept saying sorry becuase earlier on in the marvel film tony said if peter dies its on him and he wouldnt forgive himself .

Just the fact that Peter didn’t believe that Tony really cared, but then he came out of the Iron Man suit. And despite Peter looking surprised I could kind of see the relief in his eyes that Tony did actually care. That’s what makes it harder to watch his death🥺

I like to think it started when he was 14, because in their argument he refers to him as a 14 year old, and Peter corrects him saying that he’s fifteen. I think that Tony still thought of that 14 year old kid that he saw.

That was deep.

I’m not crying you are 🥺 Also Tony Stark and Peter are the best duo hands down
Watching this made me think of 2 things.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! Sometimes I feel people doesnt give Peter that much of credit.

That would have hurt….
@@0RtistiC it really is fascinating how duly you’ve thought of this (although of your personal judgement)

I'm literally crying *my favorite quote:* "you can't be a friendly neighborhood spider-man if there's no neighborhood ~Peter Parker"
all he wanted was to help and he knows the cost of letting thanks destroy everything. sometimes it's not just to prove himself, its to help others. ever since the first movie that Tom Holland had played spider-man, there's something about the way he presents himself as *The real spider-man* and makes spider-man become someone who isn't just a normal teen who got bitten by a spider and decides to help out around his city... *with great power, comes great responsibility* - Spider-Man's Uncle Ben :)
