Nice Cinematography, Sound work, Voice over and editing. Do you think using Metabones would have helped to gain some more frame? Are there Metabones available for this Camera?
Hey man. Thanks for taking the time and watching. I have never used metabones, so I can’t tell you if they are available for this camera which is a S35 sensor with a EF mount. I know that the metabone gives more light to the sensor, in the case of the MFT sensors like the bmpcc 4k, but as I was shooting sometimes with a 14mm, which I recommend, I had a lot in the frame. However, I also used a 35mm (my favorite) and a 85mm
Thank you for this piece, Ruben! Inspirational as always. Loved how you presented a chaotic city as New York in such a relaxed way. Beautiful contrasts
Hi Ruben beautiful video 😃 3rd liked 👍 Thanks for taking us around NYC I loved that you were filming part of the video on the Staten Island Ferry. I grew up taking the Staten Island Ferry 6:15 for 5 cents. The Ferry been free since July 4, 1997 Thanks again for the beautiful vlog. Have a wonderful great week my friend 😎👍
Well there you go again, opening up the mystery of a storied place. New York certainly has a vibe, a town like no other, where you find yourself insignificant and humbled. Thanks for this film Dr Ruben, your touch is getting better with every film... From mostly cloudy and verging on warm Ireland! ☘💪🏽👀👍🏽☘
Definitely, my friend. It’s a city to see at least once in your life, oops, I’m repeating myself here, lol. I could just imagine being involved in the music atmosphere there! Thanks for your kind words, my younger brother. Hugs to you and Emma from rainy Italy!
Thanks a lot, brother. The footage was very different (very sharp) for this kind of vibe, so I soften everything and add some grain etc. Thanks for taking the time 🙏
Haha..., I'm glad you liked it, brother! I think the worst part was my voice, but I coulnd't do miracles and I didn't want to use an AI, but THANK YOU!
Hey Ruben, I enjoy your work. While showing the grade it would help to close the LUTS panel on the left side and maybe close or minimize the size of the CLIPS, this will enlarge the viewer which makes it easier to see the image. Keep up the good work!
We overuse the words great and amazing... thank you Ruben for sharing this, it's an inspiring piece. I know you've been working hard on this and it's lovely to see the final result. I'm sure you will share how you've done this edit soon, but I just wanted to say thanks for taking us along with you on this experience. Bravo!
dear rubin, is beautiful, most people are unable to get 6k pro look this beautiful.good job, you said you used 14mm,35mm and 85 lenses, can you please tell me which make/brand/model are these lenses.thanks
This is a beautiful film, Ruben! I felt all the things... And then... When you slowed it down... YES! The vibe changed. Everything goes by too fast in life. You have to intentionally slow it down. Really well done, Ruben! I loved this.
Hey Kris, with pleasure brother. Number 1. Try to be as stable as you can, maybe try to make one point of contact between you and your camera; 2.Shooting at 60fps, and 3. slow the footage down in post, if you're editing on FCPX you may wanna do "automatic speed" so that the editor slows down the footage correctly (not too much) and then from that long shot select the most stable part. You can also stabilise the shot in post trying different methods, but if you nailed it in camera it'll be way better. Hope this can help. Cheers
I have no words. This is beautiful. Loved every second of it. This is some filmmaking to aspire to😄 Would love to know what you did to the footage and effects to get the nice feel.
I love the sound design and the colors of your film, brother! Wow!!!!
Thanks a lot my friend. I’m glad you liked it 🙏
So nice film my dear friend, thanks for sharing! Like 20 with my kind regards, Charoula! 🌹🙋♂💙

I'm glad you liked it, brother! Thanks so much for taking the time 🙏

Hey Ruben, great work. I gotta ask, what are your tips to getting stable handheld footage?
