Fisher F2 Metal Detector Demo

Hello, I am shopping for a detector. About how deep will this detect, coins/metal which are in the dirt?
I read this machine is a good one for gold and coins. Thanks,Scott

I found that it would go 6-10 inches for coins. The coil you use will determine the depth more than the detector. I use the Fisher F4 with a DD coil now. Its a slightly better model and i get great results for coins.
