X and V have the DLC already on the cartridge (aside from some expensive songs I believe) T does have DLC which you will need to purchase from the Hong Kong eShop. That isnt easy though and I haven’t done it myself
@@SwitchWatch as i said the main menu is in english everything else from subs to choices is not . and even when i choose the language option it gives me 2 choices in chinese i think and no matter what i choose nothing changes
No. Pilot deaths are plot-mandated and even then, some of them have secret requirements that can keep them alive permanently and even change the story.
Its nice review about the Switch ver. of V. Compare to T which has G Gundam and UC series, V has a greater number of UC gundam series including Unicorn (or U.C. depending how you refer to it) and GSD and 00. But really the real fun is Space Battleship Yamato/Starblazers (as far I know about V unlocking the Wave motion gun requires going for the IF route)
@@Anjin-qg3ie The main series. Obviously OG wouldn’t have them and that doesn’t count(OG is fantastic still). Macross is pretty much only in the older games(it is not in any of these 3), and Eva has all but disappeared lately except for V because of the Rebuild Eva movies coming out at that time. As for classic mech anime in general they are about even with X bringing back series that haven’t been seen in SRW since the 90s, V bringing back Eva and Nadesico and heavily featuring UC Gundam, and T bringing back some of the oldies again from X and finally bringing back G Gundam as well as adding in Rayearth for the first time(technically a classic). In short V has Eva and a lot of Gundams and T has the Gundam variety of V and most of the good older stuff from X, so it is question of how much you want Eva or not.
I do love how I have the English box for T and V, but T's cart is English, whereas V's cart is Japanese. Dunno how that happened, but the cart defaulted to English, so I'm not complaining. I will be amused if the same thing happens when X gets ported.
nice to point out that the words meant english as many like my friend do not know/understand. man seeing this makes me wish that switch have a proper gundam game & Medabots game
There is an English version already. But it is not being released in the west. The one being released in January (today actually!) is Super Robot Wars X. That is also in English, but not releasing in America or Europe. If you want these you need to buy them from the Japanese eShop or import a physical copy. All of the physical versions of Super Robot Wars have English except the Japanese version of Super robot Wars T. Only the Hong Kong version has English for that one.
@@SwitchWatch I saw that both X and V are available at about $45 USD for the vita and was about to purchase them, but I saw that they're available on the switch too... I haven't even turned on my Vita in well over a year so I was wondering if it would be worth it to get them cheaper on the vita and bring it out of retirement or just go with the switch versions since that seems to be a console that I pick up on a more regular basis
I haven’t played them on the Vita so I can’t tell you much about performance. But they do look swell on the big TV as well as in the palm of your hands
@@SwitchWatch For me, SRW Z2 Regeneration (PSP) and SRW OG The Moon Dwellers (PS4) has the best animation... Surprising how an old PSP games still has the best animation even today...

That's really odd pal. Where did you buy it from? If its play Asia they are really helpful in resolving stuff like this so send them an email. Hope it gets resolved. That error code might be due to the country you are downloading from. Is it an Asian copy? If it is then you will need to download from an Asian store. Hope that helps. Follow this guide to set up other eshop account www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/04/guide_how_to_buy_nintendo_switch_games_from_the_japanese_eshop_-_region_free_accounts
Hey buddy, Jordan here. You need to have a Hong Kong eShop account to use the download code.
So..wich one I need to pick up first to start? SW V o T ...or another? 🤔⁉️
T I would say 😃
@@SwitchWatch Hooo really? V continúes the campaign of T?
@@angelalarcon8918 V came out first. The stories are independent (set in different universes) but V's protagonists appears in T's DLCs set after they finished their adventures in their original universe.
@@PhailPhisher Wooo nice! I get V, later I Will ver T
If you buy the cartridge. Does any of them have DLC and can you use English money
X and V have the DLC already on the cartridge (aside from some expensive songs I believe) T does have DLC which you will need to purchase from the Hong Kong eShop. That isnt easy though and I haven’t done it myself
Thanks
WHICH SUPER ROBOT WARS IS THE BEST ????
T 😊
The OG games, Masoukishin and A Portable.
Z2
Which game in the series should I play first?
T 👍
still waiting for OG
ill auto buy it if salamandinay is a playable character 😎
She's playable. Most of the named good guys from Cross Ange are.
Any gun x sword characters in This game?
Necroposting, but no. There is Gun X Sword in SRW 30 though
Why can't I find these in the shop?
Only on the Japanese or Hong Kong eShop
2d is always the best visually when in good hand of a great artist. No matter how well the 3d were made, it cannot compared to well made 2d.
I play on PS4. But I like watching your SRW reviews nonetheless. Hope to see you review SRW 30😊
Wouldn’t miss it for the world!
how did you make in english please. mine only the menu is in english
Which language is your system set to? Your Switch needs to be in English
@@SwitchWatch as i said the main menu is in english everything else from subs to choices is not . and even when i choose the language option it gives me 2 choices in chinese i think and no matter what i choose nothing changes
Does Pilot get killed permanently if one's mech is defeated, like Fire emblem and X-com?
No. Pilot deaths are plot-mandated and even then, some of them have secret requirements that can keep them alive permanently and even change the story.
Which is better t or v? I'm about to buy one please help
I would say T, personally
@@SwitchWatch how about t, v or sd gundam crossrays?
Are you from UK? If so what’s the import tax like on these? I got stung once for Orders in past.
I’m from the UK but I live in China. So I don’t know.
You seem to be the bigger expert than me buddy, I'll trust you with that! 😊 Are you picking this up for the Switch?
I need to know which of these 3 games has the most classic anime. I want macross, evangelion, and gundam.
V has Evangelion and Gundam.
All SRW games have Gundams.
@@westonmeyer3110 That not true unfortunately. There are a few that have all original characters. I specifically wanted to know about Eva and Macross.
@@Anjin-qg3ie
The main series.
@@westonmeyer3110 I ended up buying V because it has Eva. I'll stick to SRT FF on my saturn. All the classic songs and mexh I crave!
i'm hoping that SRW T gets ported to PC someday.
If V did, then it’s possible
Next year possibly since they'll port x first which is also next year
Is super robot T, super robot X and super robot V the same game like Pokémon X and Y
No, they all have their own separate, vastly different stories.
Has japanese box version english texts? Japanese Eshop version has them. But box?
Sadly I don't know. I would guess it does, but I haven't seen it myself so can't say for sure.
Yes, we welcome you to the srw army. We have voice acting and licensed music.
Will it work with Nintendo switch lite
Yes buddy
I do love how I have the English box for T and V, but T's cart is English, whereas V's cart is Japanese. Dunno how that happened, but the cart defaulted to English, so I'm not complaining. I will be amused if the same thing happens when X gets ported.
As long as it plays in English, that’s all that really matter 👍
My catridge mark as jpn. And i still got english.. But yes, stay away from deluxe edition.!
Thanks for the info bud!
This is the first iv heard of this game
Then I've succeed in my goal to bring this to a new audience 😊
@@SwitchWatch thank you good sir!
This series exists since first monochrome Gameboy and has been on every single console since then
@@HaohmaruHL yeah I had no clue
The deluxe edition is just more soundtracks(mainly the opening theme songs) pulled from the series mentioned.
Yeah, I'm curious as to why that doesn't have English though
nice to point out that the words meant english as many like my friend do not know/understand.
man seeing this makes me wish that switch have a proper gundam game & Medabots game
I've been meaning to point that out so many times, finally got around to it here haha
I wonder. is the battle cinematic dynamic or is it prerecorded like the previous games?
It's cinematic. Very hands off, but awesome to watch.
Were you able to get the day one purchase redeem codes for this version? Can you let us know how to redeem it if you have a US region switch?
You can set up a Hong Kong eShop account with a different email address and redeem the code then
@@SwitchWatch thanks!
So this is coming in the switch this January for an english version?
There is an English version already. But it is not being released in the west. The one being released in January (today actually!) is Super Robot Wars X. That is also in English, but not releasing in America or Europe. If you want these you need to buy them from the Japanese eShop or import a physical copy. All of the physical versions of Super Robot Wars have English except the Japanese version of Super robot Wars T. Only the Hong Kong version has English for that one.
Thanks for the review. Plan on importing T for Christmas.
What did you think of X?
Check out my review! ;) (I liked it a little more than V)
Which version would you guys recommend for V and for X? I'm wondering if I should pick it up on the VITA or the Switch?
I prefer X. Although I think T is better than both, which means Switch 😂
When you're wowed by the animation of SRWV but then you realized that this game does not have the BEST animation in entire SRW series.
Yep! As mentioned, T is better at least
@@SwitchWatch For me, SRW Z2 Regeneration (PSP) and SRW OG The Moon Dwellers (PS4) has the best animation... Surprising how an old PSP games still has the best animation even today...
Will have to check those out, thanks!
Love StarBlazers...
Well you're in luck as they have a primary role here!
@@SwitchWatch Well just take my money😂
Best game on psvita, shame they didn’t make srw t on the vita.
I'm surprised they didn't
Finished last week, on with Super Robots Wars T. Great game!
I think you’ll like T even more!
Hi switch watch thanks for the review made me decided to buy it
Hope you have a great time with it buddy!
I could only buy one, what will you recommend? SRW T or V? Thank you.
I would say T. It's the slightly better game. Although it's also a bit more expensive and more difficult to get a hold of
Um... Wow. Looks epic! If it wasn't for u I would've ignored it.
I love bringing these kind of games to everyone's attention!
