Hey! Nice to see another video coming from your direction. And by the way the Stuka is just great, wayyyy better than mine and I think you did a great job with the paintwork and the stand is really cool. And once again good luck on the way to 💯 subs!!!
Thank you! I could have done better with the paintwork - first time using humbrol enamels ..not as easy or as good as revell l, which is what I'm used to. I also couldn't get hold of any yellow for the propeller so it's technically not complete yet. But as always thanks for watching. More to follow..
Good work. Very nice. It would be great if you find two swastikas for the tail for a more realistic model. I see that include decals for Legion Condor of Spanish civil war. 👍
Great model! You wouldn't mind giving more details with the stand as it's a good idea with it making the Stuka more realistic. Like did you drill a hole in model at start/end to make it more strong? Thanks 🙌
April 16th 2021... just seeing this... I have this kit... NICE JOB...brush painting it , that looks good...like the DIVE BOMBING stand... Suggestion... a 3/4 block of wood... Painted black / with a wire coat hanger for a stand... also some clear plastic from a store bought product... make a disk with diameter of the propeller...to make it look like it really is flying...YOU’LL KNOW WHAT TO DO... I have faith... STILL A NICE JOB.... CHRIS from OHIO
Thanks for watching Chris. Yes I've seen this done before! It looks way more aesthetic than what I have produced but I just couldn't find the materials and wanted to get this finished quickly (as my desk is supposed to be used for working from home, not building scale models!)
Nice! Doing the painting with a brush as part of a challenge or not yet got yourself an airbrush or even rattle cans? How'd you make the stand? I thinking about how to make some for a few 1/72 aircraft models I just built. Done plenty of armour but no planes till now so sorting a display stand is a whole different ball game (at least if it's undercarriage up!). Looks like a coffee pod and bit of coathanger wire? Simple but effective!
Hi thanks for watching! I do have an airbrush however this model required colours I could only find in Humbrol enamel (couldn't find an alternative on conversion charts). I don't know if you've ever used Humbrol enamel but they're very thick/gloopy and generally not the easiest to use in my opinion. So I played it safe and used a brush. Sometimes I like just using a brush anyway. There's merits to both. Re the stand - just scrap materials. Nespresso pod and a scrap piece of sprue. Filled the pod with clay for weight. I'll do a quick video on it eventually. I prefer the look of retracted landing gear (obviously not possible on this model) so I'm going to put some of my older builds onto these stands
@@therealdrimdrady5614 ah no never used Humbrol and try to stick to acrylic for simplicity too so I may never try Humbrol now! I'm not a fanatic on the brand of colours as long as it's close enough I'll stick with Vallejo or even Citadel paints too for some non camo colours. I may have to give your stand method a go. Plenty not pods and sprue about!
Color RLM 71 is too dark, so the upperside paintwork looks a bit gloomy, the light color of the MG 15-barrel looks a bit odd. And there is a bit silvering beneath the fuselage decal, otherwise a well built model.
Очерь красиво!Но...все портит ,стоящий, винт...Нужно было купить готовый прозрачный диск...или самому вырезать из прозрачного пластика...была бы полная илюзия полета!🎉
Hi thanks for watching. I tend not to use primer. However I wish I had - I had a real issue with the hombrol paints not wanting to adhere to the plastic.
@@therealdrimdrady5614 I also have a problem with humbrol paints, so I tend to use revell's. I just got that very same JU-87 kit so your video was very helpful.
@@therealdrimdrady5614 You say you had issues with the paint not adhering to the plastic. Its not shown in your video, but did you wash the parts with warm water with a little washing up liquid and rinse to remove the mold release lubricant ?
Il est dommage que le groupe Airfix ne renvoie pas de pièces quand celles ci sont perdues, défectueuses ou manquantes. Les demandes restent sans réponses. A croire qu ils se moquent des clients. Airfix à bien changer.

That's a good neat Ju 87 build. Nicely done and presented.

Great work
Nice build.
Could you make a video on how you make the stand?
I've always wanted to build one of these.
Thanks for making it look so easy.

kindda weird to see stuka "diving" without pilot in cockpit
02:18 Revell Contacta won't work well on painted surfaces
