Being a boy does not really mean anything when it comes to hitting/physical abuse, nor is it an excuse. Ava & Alexis are still human & Jersey should not be coddled when hitting his sisters. I have noticed that in videos, Justin does seem to act like Jersey can no wrong much more than I ever have seen him do so with the twins. I obviously don’t know them so my opinion is just that! Lol
He says Jersey isn’t aggressive but in almost every video that is uploaded, he is being very mean to his sisters, telling them to get away from him, leave him alone, they can’t have anything, kicking/punching them. Those girls take it so well too despite being only 7 years old! They continue to smile and treat him kind.

He’s not aggressive he’s a 3 year old. I hit when I was that age and I’m a girl. And the twins are older of course they’re expected to behave better. The parents are doing well at redirecting and going time ins to reinforce that hitting isn’t okay. He’s a sweet child that was struggling with impulse control.

I also like that during his time out, you were there with him so he's secure and he knows you love him and that the "time out" is not out of anger but it is discipline and he still knows that you love him. He knows he is loved and he still gets to enjoy the day out. Really great guys! Thank you for sharing. Great video! I would definitely recommend karate or other martial arts classes for all kids. I used to teach kids aged 5-8 karate and it was amazing to see the effect it had on them. Some kids would be loud and aggressive in the beginning of the course, but the lessons taught them not to only hit or kick in self defence. It also gave them an outlet for all their pent up energy and as well as confidence in themselves. I saw the same confidence building in the kids that would start the course being somewhat timid and closed off.

I also like the fact that in your disciplining of him, you talked to him and the sit out time was very reasonable and age appropriate. You guys are amazing!
I remember when he first was scared to to down slides but look at him now. I loved it when all three of them went down the big slide together. Sisters supporting the brother.
I really like your channels and in spite of what some may say, you are raising healthy, wholesome and beautiful children who are very expressive. As a teacher, I love this! You go! McClures!!! Don't let anyone stop or steal your shine!!! Shine on!!!

I feel so bad that they had to continue insisting that their sweet boy isn't "bad" or "violent." People make horrible assumptions about little Black boys, and it shouldn't be that way. You two are awesome parents! 💜

My little brother and sisters use to hit each other all the time. I'd have to care for them one-two days a week and as punishment I had them do wall sits, push ups, crunches and hand raises. It made a huge difference in their behaviour towards each other. Plus they all thank me now because they're into physical fitness. Lol

It seems Justin feels a bit self-conscious about being a good parent... Don't worry you are great and loving parents! They are just normal kid issues 🤗 Jersey and the girls are awesome kids, confident and loved 😊

    Justin is an excellent Dad.
    Jersey is being a boy.
I raised three sons and they all liked to wrestle and was somewhat aggressive towards each other. Justin will steer Jersey in the right direction in terms of him being aggressive towards his sister's.
It's good that Justin is teaching him skills to be discipline like enrolling him in karate classes and boxing.
    Jersey is around all females.
Thank God Justin is his father
Boys need male guidance, direction, and positive male role models. Jersey will be fine. He's a boy and he has no brothers. Boys are rambunctious, it's their nature.
    He'll be fine.

Karate and fighting is a violent sport. Not good because Jersey is using it to hurt his sisters when he's mad. And kids don't know how to control their rage. It must be taught NOT to hit others at all.

    • @Jen-pb9xt
      @Jen-pb9xt 3 роки тому +1

Karate is taught as self defense. I can't speak for other sports but you are taught about desipline in karate and it's purpose is not to just beat someone up, so it actually can be good for kids.
