Just a suggestion, try making a shampoo solution for the spray bottle and then do all the massaging while he's sitting up. It may be a combination of body position, water, and a tad being young. Unlike some I won't say spoil because that is a complex that parents' create and then feed into. Resuming the washing hair, if using a tear free shampoo allow him to cup water onto his own head in the bathtub before a bath or a large enough tub(small pool) as to not make a mess. This will have him involved with the process as children get older they start to want to be more in control/independent. This method will allow for you to still make sure that the hair and scalp are properly cleaned before the Jersey's "hair rinse" is done/attempted. As an alternative to having it interactive have prefilled bowls/cups of water ready for you to pour over his hair. Just a suggestion, parenting multiple children is a position with tons of complexity by you and zero flexibility by them(the kids), but there isn't a good mother out there that would change it 😉

Aaaawwww, Jersey why you so cute "Cause Mama made me cute." 😊 This Lil blessing of a baby boy is such a little ham. Children are a blessing, the man who has children has arrows of fire in his hands 👍👍
For a little boy who does not like washing nor brushing his hair , she should keep his hair short that, would make her life easier. He might have sensory issues. He needs to get desensitized by exposing him to washing and combing the hair. Like you said, lying is not a good idea ! I think the more you try to distract him with words , the more he gets upset.
I had this issue as a child. It was because I felt powerless lying on my back, did not like the strain on my neck, and felt claustrophobic like I was drowning. As an adult i still have that feeling when I go to the hairdresser. I'm only fine washing my own in the shower. My brothers had the sensory issues with getting haircuts. So that may not change anything.

Life is tough sometimes, Jersey. I wonder if watching his sisters get their hair washed (same way) and then put the phone on camera so he is watching himself get his hair washed. With this being a win, he might get a little better each time and outgrow this. Most little ones have some kind of quirk at some point. My granddaughter would freak out if grass touched her. Jerz is unbribable! Go Jerz! Reminds me of my son, who has sensory issues. He never liked washing his face with water, or water on his head. So I only used a washcloth on his face & to avoid the **hollering** I would wash his body in sections and the head was always last. Hes 17, now and still washes his face with a washcloth and will not stand under the shower for long. My son also was afraid of snow before he was 3, all that white fluffy stuff looked to him like he would get swallow up...I'm guessing. I eased him into loving snow!!🙏🏾
When it’s time for hair washing, tell him what’s about to happen and proceed with the wash. Let him protest, while you calmly wash his hair. Don’t talk, explain, or ask him why he’s so upset. Just wash his hair, that’s it.
Hard not to feel sorry for Jersey when he’s so upset. At first I wondered if he had some kind on sensitivity on his scalp but then he was ok with you combing his hair 🤷🏻♀️ I think it’s just something he’s going to have to get use to and your new technique is a definite 👍
Most people don't need to wash their hair as often as they bathe/shower. People with textured or curly hair, especially black or mixed girls and boys, usually only need to wash their hair once a week (more or less depending on the person's hair) because it can actually be more damaging by drying their hair out, making their curls less defined, etc. Sorry for the long answer. lol I tried to keep it short, and there's actually a lot more to it if you want to look it up.
@@annvaughn8974 True. She said she used to wash it in the bath tub and that he hated that even more. Also, my first comment was more of an answer to why she doesn't wash it "every time" he bathes.
Because she does not have the right hair care products. She also needs a wide tooth comb, but washing hair at every bath should have been happening you are right.
@@oliviarodrigues2323 Sorry but you're mistaken about that. She shouldn't be washing his hair or the girls' hair at every bath time. You can read my comment above or Google it for yourself if you're interested in learning about how often people/children with hair that is mixed, textured, curly, etc should wash their hair. There's actually misconceptions about how often people should be washing their hair in general based on the type of hair they have.
I feel like mama fears washing his hair now, these kid will give us anxiety like were doing something wrong. hehehehe, sorry mama, you did you best. If all else fails - you may have to chop it off.
Cutting his hair while he is still a toddler will permanently alter the texture of his hair. I don't know when we got so lazy as a people, but I suspect it was when weavology became a money making "science". ANYWAY - olive oil and olive oil based products is a good start. Depending on his texture, pure coconut oil may even work. But the issue right now is the tenderheadedness she has created by using these white products which claim to be natural but are manufactured creations mixed with "extracts" like tea trea oil "extracts" - yeah, they market nice and smell nice, but they do not RESTORE the NATURAL way your scalp and hair are; we are definitely becoming the old people because us mixed people watching mixed kids go through hell being raised by people who are not mixed is a real shame.
Hey Ami, my son has this same issue he’s 7 and he explained to me that the sound of the water hitting the sink or shower hurts his ears and makes his head feel like his brain is floating, so I usually try to put soothing music on and reassure him as much as possible and we do take breaks.
Have Justin tried to wash his hair?! The Last time when Ami styled his hair he also freaked out that much. Maybe the change from Ami to Justin would help him?! But I love the patience that Ami had in this situation. I dont know in I would have Act like that.
I am in the same situation as this mom accept it's my 3 yr old daughter. We have tried dad doing it. Same results. She also doesn't like having her hair styled. I only wash her hair twice a month. I'm going to try spray bottle routine have her sit up. Her screaming and fighting is what I'm trying to avoid. Keep wash time short.
I relate to this too much, not that I’m scared of my mom washing my hair. I’m scared of washing my hair myself and it’s because every time I say I’m finally gonna wash my hair myself, I think that the water is gonna get on my face and I end up panicking.
Awww I know the feeling I feel the same way when I was a child my mom always take me to the beauty shop I don’t like nobody washing my hair now I loved washing my hair Jersey and the girls are the most adorable cutest ever you are totally blessed ❤️😍😍🙏🏼
Ohhhh I felt so bad watching Jersey cry but at the end of the day the hair needs to be washed ... Jersey is a cuteY boY💙 The girl's hair Sooo Gigantic 💜💗💜💗and puffy
My niece was exactly like this. During non-quarantine I babysit her everyday since she was 1 month old. So I'm usually the one to bathe her. When she was two she threw the biggest fit on me including climbing out of the bath tub and climbing on my daughter's bed hiding under the covers soaking wet, bubbly, and nude😂. I approached her and said why don't you wash your own hair. This allowed her to get comfortable with water and shampoo being on her head in her own time and comfort. After she washed her hair she says it's Aunties turn which allowed me to wash the parts she missed. I know a two year old can't wash their own hair completely but it needs them get comfortable with it. I did this with my daughter also and now she washes her hair so by herself at 6 years old. Just something to try.

Just wash his hair, that’s it.
good advice
Exactly!!!
YESSS cause everytime she mentioned doing it or "see its ok" it reminded him then he would start crying
Agreed
Black mums style..haha.. I like that!
When Justine was like why is that an announcement 😂😂😂
Yes! 😂😂😂
I always waiting for them to post... I love you all😍😍
Kisses from namibia
Awe he’s so cute ❤️
Today jersey tells the future
Girls: you aren’t going to cry
Jersey: I AM going to cry
And what is that supposed to mean😼😼😼😼🤥🙄🙄🙄🙄
Hard not to feel sorry for Jersey when he’s so upset. At first I wondered if he had some kind on sensitivity on his scalp but then he was ok with you combing his hair 🤷🏻♀️ I think it’s just something he’s going to have to get use to and your new technique is a definite 👍
It really dad that he's so afraid of a lot of things. Hopefully he will grow out of all his phobias. I feel so bad when he cries. I can feel his fear.
Why not wash it everytime he bathe?
Most people don't need to wash their hair as often as they bathe/shower. People with textured or curly hair, especially black or mixed girls and boys, usually only need to wash their hair once a week (more or less depending on the person's hair) because it can actually be more damaging by drying their hair out, making their curls less defined, etc. Sorry for the long answer. lol I tried to keep it short, and there's actually a lot more to it if you want to look it up.
That's what I thought but they did that but he screamed even louder according to them
@@annvaughn8974 True.
I agree. Maybe a close or buzz cut until he gets older.
@@oliviarodrigues2323 what the what?
@@oliviarodrigues2323 What?
@@patbone8046 right I have so many questions 😭😂😂😂
Hey Ami, my son has this same issue he’s 7 and he explained to me that the sound of the water hitting the sink or shower hurts his ears and makes his head feel like his brain is floating, so I usually try to put soothing music on and reassure him as much as possible and we do take breaks.
Ami:jersey im gonna need wash ur hair. Jersey:No you dont
Jersey nightmare washing his hair 🤩😂
Have Justin tried to wash his hair?! The Last time when Ami styled his hair he also freaked out that much. Maybe the change from Ami to Justin would help him?! But I love the patience that Ami had in this situation. I dont know in I would have Act like that.
This actually makes sense.❤
I am in the same situation as this mom accept it's my 3 yr old daughter. We have tried dad doing it. Same results. She also doesn't like having her hair styled. I only wash her hair twice a month. I'm going to try spray bottle routine have her sit up. Her screaming and fighting is what I'm trying to avoid. Keep wash time short.
First ❤️ I love you guys so much ❤️
I relate to this too much, not that I’m scared of my mom washing my hair.
I Am always the firts person i love the twins and Jersey 🥵😍😩
I would’ve just shaved his head if he was my child. I’m not that patient 😂❤️
Amen. May in five years he can have hair again.
Exactly plus he is a boy. Why dont they just cut it off?
ms awuor Because they think that mess is cute.
ms awuor he will still have to get it washed
@@bmsykos it is adorable 😉
Ohhhh I felt so bad watching Jersey cry but at the end of the day the hair needs to be washed ...
Jersey is a cuteY boY💙
The girl's hair Sooo Gigantic 💜💗💜💗and puffy
Just something to try.
i really love watching all of your videos and your videos are so interesting to watch and Jersey should be strong while getting his hair washed and Mom you are an amazing person who cares about your family and your children and your family is an amazing family and keep watching all of their videos and stay tuned for more videos and y'all are awesome
My daughter acts like it's the end of the world but I can't blame her were both tender headed
My 3 yr old is like this. She doesn't like wash day or getting her hair done. It's a struggle.
Awwwww...😍..”cos mama made me cute”
