That bug pit is one of the scariest things ever put on film.
I was 13 when this movie premiered back in 2005. I was so blown away when I first saw it. Still one of the greatest remakes ever.

As an adult I can appreciate how long this movie is, I can also appreciate Peter Jackson taking a more sympathetic take on taking Kong out of his home and forcing him onto a stage. The shock he has reacting to just the cars of the city was lowkey heart breaking.

Stampede scene was far fetched; there is no way they could have survived that, no way Carl Denham could have kept up carrying all that gear and the unfit alcoholic he was

Kong comienza a desarrollar una extraña atracción por Ann y tiene que luchar contra un tiranosaurio que la ataca. Entonces, el gorila y la chica se dirigen a una cueva a descansar, y Driscoll los sigue hasta allí. Accidentalmente, Driscoll derriba una roca y llama la atención de Kong, pero en ese momento, Ann es atacada por un pterosaurio y el gorila se enfrenta con él. Mientras está distraído, John aprovecha para bajar junto con la chica por una liana, pero al finalizar la pelea con el pterosaurio, Kong empieza a tirar de ella sin dejarles más opción que lanzarse a un río. Furioso, el gorila los persigue hasta la aldea y, al llegar a la costa, queda inconsciente por una granada que es lanzada por Denham.
Inmediatamente, deciden transportar a Kong a Nueva York, para ser exhibido públicamente en la carpa de un teatro. El contacto de Kong con un mundo que no conoce y el amor que siente por Ann lo hacen enfurecer hasta que se libera y queda suelto por la ciudad. Kong busca a la chica y al encontrarla, la sube al Empire State Building, donde es atacado por aviones, que logran hacerle caer del edificio y muere.

I'VE GOT THIS MOVIE ON DVD AND THE ACTOR JACK BLACK WAS IN THIS MOVIE AND HE WAS A PHOTOGRAPHER IN THIS MOVIE AND DINOSAURS WERE LIVING ON THE ISLAND CALLED SKULL ISLAND AND THEN THEY WERE FOLLOWING JACK BLACK AND THEY FELL DOWN OFF A LEGE AND JACK BLACK WAS THROWING BIG BOTTLES OF CLORO FORM AT KING KONG AND IT PUT IT TO SLEEP AND JACK BLACK PUT THE BIG APE ON THE BOAT AND HE WAS IN A STAGE SHOW AND KING KONG BROKE HIS OWN BIG CHAINS AND HE RAN AROUND NEW YORK CITY AND THE ARMY WERE SHOOTING GUNS AT KING KONG AND HE WAS CLIMBING UP TO THE TOP OF THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING AND HE WAS SHOT DOWN BY THE BY PLANES AND LANDED DEAD ON THE GROUND AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE TAKEN PICTURES OF KING KONG AND JACK BLACK WAS WATCHING THIS AND HE SAID TO THE PEOPLE THAT IT WAS BEUTE THAT KILLED THE BEAST AND JACK BLACK HOSTED A GREAT TRIBUTE TO LED ZEPPELIN IN THE KENNEDY CENTRE IN AMERICA AND JIMMY PAGE WAS THERE AND ROBERT PLANT WAS THERE AND JOHN PAUL JONES WAS THERE AND THE BAND HEART SANG A SONG CALLED STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN AND JOHN BOHHAMS SON JASON BONHAM WAS PLAYING THE DRUMS AND ROBERT PLANT WAS CRYING BECAUSE OF HE LOST HIS BEST FRIEND JOHN HENRY BONHAM WHO DIED IN 1980 AND HE WAS THE GREATEST DRUMMER WHO EVER LIVED 😔

truely speaking this kong looked like actual gaint gorilla rather then skull king one. skull kong more like human..
I know right. But at the same time, I've heard that Kong was never mentioned to be a gorilla. He is an ape like creature but particularly not a gorilla that too a silverback.
But I loved 2005 Kong. It was easy to connect with.
