you don't need to unpair/repair it. you can just go directly to the menu"pairnew devuce" click on the bluetooth headsetnd thats it.

Cool. Thx! I had tried to connect a BT sound bar a while back but assumed there was no BT support. I was in the Audio menu, not the Accessories menu. Finally.. I have my audio going to the BT sound bar without using an optical cable!

The sound was turned off when I connected it. So just turning up the volume was enough 😅

After 5 months - the same problem exists. I have bought mibox in 6 February 2021 and I have to pair every time i want use airpods with mibox.
I have a set of Edifier Bluetooth headphones (W800BT). When I connect them with apple tv 4 they work perfect but when I connect them with Mi Box, there is no sound. I did the hole connection process a few times, updated the firmware but still nothing :(

I hate Bluetooth in last 25 years. But this is the most idiotic Bluetooth issue I’ve encounter until now. Additionally the box looses the active connection randomly and then you’ll have to unpair a connected device and reconnect each time.

You can't because mi tv or box remote connect with tv via Bluetooth, so you can't stop or disable Bluetooth

Same problem occurs with earphones that can be connected with 2 devices. In order to get my earphones (that I also use on my phone) to work on the mi box, I need to 1) disconnect them from the phone, 2) restart the mi box. I hoped there could be a trick or an easier solution but apparently there isn't.
My friend, more them a year later and we steel can reconnect bluetooth devices to Mi TV Stick. It is a amazing TV box, but with this problem.

You can’t send Bluetooth audio to the device. You can only take audio from it. You can use online music services like Spotify etc and play on the mi box. You can control the music using the phone.

Can we use the in built microphones present in the headphones...? For say Google meet ?
the microphone only gets activated when you press the button and the button will activate the google assistant. so no you cant but you can use the mic of a wireless headset.

Even I hav the same doubt...coz I am using in built microphone present in my wireless headphones paired up with my tv....I can access it's microphone to access Google assistant and youtube...but I can't access the microphone option in Google meet and microsoft teams even if I enable the microphone option in settings...if I on the microphone option in Google meet or microsoft teams,the app is not recieving my audio...so please help me out with this

Default Automatic bluetooth audio connection is illogical as most people use this for family entertainment using stock tv speakers / sound bar / home theatre system. So headphone connectivity is occasional for most.
Although, there must be an autoconnect on/off option.
Paring mode means to on the headset right
