Renaissance artists often employed echoes in compositions, it's part of the poetry. Hence the two arms matching is very deliberate and a strong compositional device. Lovely work, great to see Leonardo's hand in this, Verrocchio is underrated his pupils learned a lot from him.
This amazing explanation of all details, and its interpretation, almost got me emotional with so much beauty, de details on the sleeves, and on the hair, are just phenomenal. Thank you so much for enlightening us with this masterpiece.
Really informative and interesting discussion. Much enjoyed it. I must have seen the painting 5+ times and I never noticed the similar positions of the left airms and hands!

Thanks for acknowledging that great workhorse, Verrocchio. He was amazing.

Glad you enjoyed it, Holly!
Beautiful discussion, very informative on the atalier process, and the different artists styles.
That angels head has a kind of crystalline quality to it that makes me think Da Vinci.
DaVinci would have been just a boy when he contributed to this painting.
Thank-you for this very interesting and informative video!
Thak you. Wonderfuk video. However, the music is too loud, making it too difficult to focus on what speaker is saying
