I've been a chef for 30 years. A lot of people don't follow that rule. They are lucky I am a a professional.

2) If you want $15 an hour, don't let a $10 order kick your ass...just saying.

TRUTH!
One of my sons is a cop, another has a small, family run take out food place. When the food guy noticed that an unusual number of uniformed officers were ordering meals, he asked one if they were friends of his brother. The sad answer was that most did not personally know him, but the police internal notice board listed my cop son as part owner of the take-out. They felt the food would be spit free, and safe to eat when they were in uniform. Some that were area residents stopped in off duty as well. But- what have we become, that officers can not trust the safety of their meals ? ?
People are so nasty to the point that causing someone harm in their food is pay back. Humans are horrible!
Right! A lot of folks think going off yelling will get them the best service... but it only gets them some spit 🤔😐☹😲

That’s said that there fellow officers have made it so hard for even the good cops that truly want to help people have to deal with this abuse. I am someone who doesn’t feel comfortable around cops because You never know when one will be power tripping but I have known some very kind coos that would be really nice to me and other kids in my community when I was a child, and it makes me very said that most children that were born after me are afraid of cops or hate cops because what a few of the bad ones did. The police force really needs to do better with getting rid of the bad cops so that the good ones can be treated with the respect the deserve.

I can definitely see that. I remember another of her comedic routines where she talks about pulling up next to a white couple at a stoplight while she's listening to music, and they assume she's listening to rap only to have her roll down the window and sing along with the opera music that's playing. On a side note, I can certainly appreciate classical and opera music, though I will say my own singing voice leaves a great deal to be desired, such as quality.

(For example. My local McDonald's has free coffee Wednesday mornings for seniors. The one in a neighboring town does not but they have a "happy hour" where the food gets a discount price.)
When she said they weren't a participating McDonald's she was referring to the question of "WHY wasn't that lady being friendly". Basically the counter lady told her that she didn't HAVE to be friendly.

I work at a McDonald's, and I've checked with other fast food chains too-- you want to get back at an employee like that but not cause a scene at the time (because we will totally blow you off as soon as you leave if you do)? If they had their name tag on that day, remember their name. Take the survey on the receipt. Mention them in the comments section of the survey, by name if possible. Never go to that place again, or at least long enough that they might forget you. I know for my chain and at least one other, those comments from the surveys get posted in our break room for EVERYONE to read, and their manager will talk to them.
