Great storytelling and all the best on your journey!
Thank you so much, we are glad you enjoyed our story 😊
Really enjoyed the story of your family- such wonderful pictures! You are blessed to have family land to grow on.
I'm slightly intrigued though, how are you living? Are you both working remotely or will gardening be a full time gig?
We are glad you enjoyed our video, and yes, it's such a blessing to have family land to live off.
At the moment, we are full-time home gardeners, and in the near future, we will earn income from it.
We are also hoping to make a living from making youtube videos, so liking and subscribing is a way to support us.
Our sustainable lifestyle is a frugal and cost-effective one, and we are blessed we have the support of family. We are okay. Thanks so much ❤
@@livingsustainablywithusIn that case I am extra happy to support your hard work and dreams. Ive been scouring Pinterest and videos on tropical gardening to design our outside. I've renovated our house near Tema and now hope to do our compound.
My land is very limited and so I can't hope for self sufficiency or permaculture, but I do want it to be productive and a strong design.
My intention is to try and stretch the limits of what I can grow- grapes, strawberries and peaches!
i didn't know you guys had a youtube channel. i just saw this on my feed🎉. well done with your channel 👏🏾
Hi Marie, nice to see you here. Yes, our channel is a recent development. 😊Thanks for watching ❤

Thank you 😊
Yes, our farmhouse is in Accra
Subscribed!!! Are you all plugged in to the Ghana Food Movement?
Thanks for subscribing ❤ And now we are not plugged in to the GFM. What's it about? Can you direct us to a place we can read about it?
@@livingsustainablywithus Happy to be of assistance here!!! It is an amazing community and collaboration of local chefs; food scientists; students in the culinary arts; farmers trying to create a sustainable and indigenous food ecosystem and value chain in Ghana. They have a website that explains it all and the most exciting thing is they are building a food lab and pop up kitchen in Osu that will be open to the community and public. They also have a very active IG handle that advertises any events they are hosting. I hope you are able to connect with them.
❤
👏🏾👏🏾😃🙌🏾❤️💕
I loved this video so much. It's very inspiring. I have a question though. It looks like you both quit your jobs in order to garden. How do you pay the bills? Are you selling the farm produce?
Thanks so much for your feedback. ❤
We actually ran our home bakery until 2023 when it collapsed because of the economy, so we didn't quit by ourselves. We don't currently sell farm produce. We are trying to feed ourselves first, but in the near future, we plan to sell some seeds and seedlings, and if we have the capacity, some leftover farm produce. We have the support of our family as we navigate trying to build our social media presence and live off our land. So do subscribe if you haven't because that's a good way to support us. 😊😊
Please what's the title of the gospel song 3:11 playing in the background of the video?🙏
"Som Nyame" by the Adinkra band led by Sloopy Mike Gyamfi recorded at Bokoor Studio. I don't think it was ever released commercially, so it's unlikely you'll find it, though.
@livingsustainablywithus Thank you so much.By the way,I am sure that your Dad has the song and a whole catalog of good music.I am suggesting that you partner with these great legends and release the songs, maybe in honor to celebrate bokoor music and the studio contribution to art and good music.
Ghana and the whole world needs to hear these masterpieces.
Thanks. Certainly interested in sustainable farming. Please are you on FB or IG?
Hi, thanks for watching. We are more active on Instagram and Tiktok. 😊
