Let me say this. I am a survivor of domestic violence. I was raised by a very strong willed black woman who had 4 girls and 1 boy who had shotguns and pistols all around the house. She had them at the hall closet the front and back doors. She protected us at all costs. So my husband and I back in the day were fighting every one of my paydays. He thought he was going to dictate what I was going to do and pay with my money. Not today yesterday nor tomorrow or ever. He thought it was a good ideal to put his hands on me. Wrong thought to have for me. Ladies here are some simple rules to conquering the abuse. 1. You cook for him. ……. Fix something else for you and your babies.
2. Always keep oil on the back bumper on your stove in something that heats up fast.
3. Every house has some kind of stairs……..
4. Let him think he is going out with his boys after arguing and fighting with you. Start scratching up his face every time he comes at you.
5. Don’t let him step to you, clock him before he can get to use.
6. Always have different weapons in every room and in your secret places.
This is just a few of the solutions that I have for defense of the abuser.
My question to you why didn’t you leave from the very first time it happened? The very first time somebody put their hands on you. It shouldn’t be a second time. Would you let a woman do it? No, would you let your children do it? No so why do women let me do? It is the question?
I understand completely how things happen fast however you are responsible for your life. That’s your life. I was with a rich mental abuser. I left everything and was homeless in my vehicle for two months with just the clothes on my back shopping at the Goodwill got a job worked for my car and I made it through. Life is about someone holding you down. They put a gun to your head. They holding you against your will No, you can’t do too much, but if you’re staying with a person because you’re afraid or you need him, that’s a problem. I wouldn’t care what I had to do. I will leave on the first thing smoking as soon as he went to work and go to a homeless shelter if I had to get away. I’m not victim shaming I’m saying you were responsible for you. Nobody’s gonna save you so you have to save yourself.
