I know now what my older son's xmas gift will be. He just got his journeyman license in January and he's been using my hand-me-downs. Thanks for sharing!
Nice tool set Wild Bill ... Lot of great products out there and Klein is among the best . I still have my very 1st 9" Linesman pliers that I bought in 1971 ...And like me they're retired ... Lol ... Good vid ...
The angled head is not to pull nails. It's to make flush cuts. On non angled cutters your hand would be in the way, but if the head is angled that's not the case. I got the normal screwdrivers by Klein, not the slimline. And I also have the diagonal cutter in the angled version (there's also a straight version available), and the D2000 EINS Lineman's pliers which are also rated for cutting ACSR. Only the stripper is useless for me. I got a comparable model, also 1000V insulated, made by Ideal. Strips all wire sizes between 0.75 and 6mm².
Hi Marcel! I use them to pull cable staples. They work quite well for that because of the angled head. Of course you're correct about the flush cutting. I hope all is well with you and the family!
@Sparky Channel. Thanks Bill for another thorough product review. I've got all the linesman, diagonal, and similar elctrical tools I need. However, if i ever need a replacement I know where to look. Hope you and your family stay safe and well. Have a safe and pleasant Independence Day.
I was told by the owners of my local electrical supply house (calumet electrical supply) that Matt klein the 4th (the owner of Klein tools) that every thing (I mean everything) they make (screwdrivers, meters, pliers and such) will be made in the United States and none of this made in China 🇨🇳, Taiwan 🇹🇼, Korea 🇰🇷, or third world country so spread the word and call this an inside tip. Klein has once a year or in a while a klein day and Matt Klein the 4th comes out to give hats, shirts 👕 and shows the new stuff that klein is coming out with. I will be notified and go and give you the scoop if an when he comes and they do the event my friend.
I wouldn't personally have any use for those tools, because I very seldom do electrical work, and I'm not an electrician of any kind. Is it wrong that I want those tools anyway? XD
Although that makes sense, Klein does label them as standard cutters, to cut ACSR, soft, and hardened wire. With the 2000 series diagonals in the same kit it lists them as hardened cutters and the same writing for ACSR. This is what is listed on the package for each item.
I'm a seller in Korea and having great information from your youtube. Thanks! I'm not a pro-users but I hope to be a pro-seller to know about the tools. I'm interested in SIREN pliers is good enough to use I think and designed by Korea(but it is made in China). Please see the below amazon. But I hope to compare with other pliers which are Made in Germany products(IRWIN and NWS etc) or USA products. What do you think? from South Korea. www.amazon.com/SIREN-LEVERAGE-LINEMANS-PLIERS-CUTTING/dp/B083HSXCR9/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=SIREN+pliers&qid=1594088164&sr=8-1

Excellent! I made some videos with David Klein in 2019. Excellent company.

It's not a problem with me. Thanks Noah!
Best comment! Love it.
@@JustOneRedSoloCup Right on!
The linesman plier is not for ACSR and any screws because it 213 series for correction only.
