    Hello and thank you for sharing your technique. I have been wanting to attempt a bread and butter build for some time now. What do you use for ballast and how do you secure it to the keel? Also what do you use for the mast and spars? I hope you make a part 4 to the series :) thanks again!

      Thanks, I should do a part 4 about the keel and rudder. This boat will have about a five inch deep fin (tong and grooved into the bottom of the existing scale keel) made of quarter inch cherry, and below that a lead bulb that is designed for the CR-914 racing yacht. The rudder is also enlarged from scale for better control

    Loved the way you took that from flat planks to a 3 dimensional shape … also chuckled at the “keep upright” on the box

    Hello! So, I am trying to take a square of wood and taking the top off, then hollow the rest out and the put the top back on. So basically like a little box. Would a chisel and hammer be best? What else could I do?

    My works too. Used woodprix handbooks and build it with no problems.
