remote control large scale drag racing @ floyd bennittfelid everyone is welcome with good friend positive area no drama but some shit talking which is normal..
bigvicbkjauto That is ridiculously awesome. How do you guys fab the chassis? I assume all custom made? Also, I'm amazed at all the smack people talk when you clearly invited everyone to come down and put their money where their mouth is.
Post #1 Your rails are looking and sounding pretty good! guys. I do have a suggestion about your clutches tho, from the sound of it, on take-off, all the cars bogg down way too much. I am not a drag racer or anything like that, At one time I used to race 1/8th scale Cars with Associated RC Cars, I have retired from RC racing after winning the 2004 ROAR 1/5th scale Natinals/Expert Super Touring Car.. For more on your clutch see Post #2
those engines seem pretty shit but the rest of the car looks good . they should take out them shit engines and put in a rcmax 70cc. those engines sound like they dont have any rpms in them at all .
Absolutely want to build one. I already see that gearing and clutch hookup are pretty critical items. Every car I saw run was weak until the torque kicked in. I think there are ways to deal with this. I also see possibilities for 2 and 3 gear trannies or a constant variable ratio device (v-belt type). Lots of fun for someone with a small tooling ability. These guys have very narrow power bands, so make the drive-line accelerate rather than engine rev building. Hmmm...
They are petrol Aircraft engines with centrifugal clutches didn't sound like a 2 stroke using nitrous, no tuned pipes, no where near enough fuel going into the engine to even think about using Nitrous Oxide. Nitro-methane injected into the intake would have much more effect, as for warming the tires that is just a wank as the wouldn't have the torque to turn the tires anyway. you want to make these things fast then tune them at speed and use a multiplate dry motorcycle clutch with weights to lock it up and then you might see some action. (Oh straighten the drag causing wing out or remove it as the IS slowing you down) . having a wing like that is only for scale looks and is useless below about 70 MPH
I understand bro, But these 1/4 scale dragster are the real deal. They perform great ounce there tune to spec of the track your running..Our club is getting smaller so we are there's no competition ..
Are these engines a specific design, or did you just modify them from something else? At first glance, they look like a worked over line trimmer engine. Although all of them look really well built. Has anyone experimentes with running a Conley V8 on one of them?
It's a very expensive hobby. I'm building one of those, from scratch, and I have just the engine and the ga tank. And the engine is good. Then you need everything else. But it depends on what you wanna do. Price ranges depending on what you wanna do.
Those Conley motors are really expensive so I would be they don't use them simply because of cost. And, a good two stroke can make more power with less weight.
Hey there Biggy ...Can I make a suggestion to you about your dragster ? You have TO MUCH WHEEL & TIRE on that car .. If you came down on size you would see an incredible step up in performance off the line as well as RPM...Your turning to much tire !!!!!!!! But gee wiz don't take my word for it .. see for yosef !!!!!!
@xXShadowRejectsXx well a rustler is different a dragster has nose weights , and the weight distribution is specially made so that the dragster stays on the ground ....in all honesty :) , i don't think you'll ever see a dragster do a wheelie
I don't think that frame would handle the new Conley engine, the stinger 609. And the starting price for one is $5,695.00(non supercharged). The supercharger is and extra $1,695.00.
@minnesota9801 i understand but shouldnt they be much faster if they are 1/4 scale? if they are 1/4 scale shouldnt they run like a 13 second 1/4 mile time or maybe like a 8 second 1/8 mile pass?
...first time i see a rc-dragster....thank you......

For such amazing RC's that dragstrip sucks! I would be glad to take my weed eater out there just to clean it up a bit! ✌️😎👍 Awesome Dragsters!
I’ll take you up on the offer 👍🏻👍🏻✅✅👌🏻👌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@VicryD lol, only one problem, I took the engine out of my weed eater and stuck it in my 1/5 scale! 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Smh 🤦🏼♂️ lol
@@VicryD lol, ok I was lying 🤷♂️ but I did take a 55cc DLE RC airplane engine and mounted it to my mountain bike! ✌️😎 Video of it on my channel! Lol!
I’ll take a look 👀
To cool thanks for posting. Wish they had something like that here in Kansas .
Those are kick ass Rc's!!!!!!!
All that's missing, is a Drag Chute popping out at the finish line. 👍
That is SICK ya'll! Dam! That is COOL!!

Hell of fun bro.... Theses car gear right are a hand full...
Too cool! I never could afford the larger scale cars. Very nice!
🔥🔥👍🏻🙌 yes there are very pricey
Loving them drag radials

those things are siiiickk!!!
@rccarattic Bro it's easy to find,, Must drive way in the back of the field... Next to the r/c air field..

yes sir the one and only
That is pretty sweet!!
looks funny
rc drag racing makes more sense than fullsize for me (noise apart)

two words " Tuned Pipe"
Omg the sound ! Love it
hello just for educational purpuse, how much cost more or less build one of this great RC´s
Nice rigs you guys. Heh, takes me back to my slot car racing days, and putting stuff on the tires to get better grip.

man there best be a large bucket of fried chichen nearby, runnin nitro cars is hard work!
SICK !!!!

@flubbaful so it wa4ms up the tyres other wise it would just rip the tyres and grip more not allowing it slide
clean

Its funny how these huge dragster make the HPI baja and FG sportline's look like 10th scales next to those 7 foot monsters HA!
wow..this looks like..uuhhh a lot of fun..i guess
That would be a sight to see,,
bad ass!
DAMN! you can hear those aggressive cams!! :P are they comp cams? LOL!
These cars run on nitro always, You can get from like 15% to about 60% nitro over the counter basic. Nitro creates oxygen, so turn it up and go fast.
@minnesota9801 i understand but shouldnt they be much faster if they are 1/4 scale? if they are 1/4 scale shouldnt they run like a 13 second 1/4 mile time or maybe like a 8 second 1/8 mile pass?
wow that's crazy woooo
I want to see a quarter scale rail with a blown quarter-scale V8 running 40 or 50% nitro fuel. Talk about realism...
i would love to see some HQ/HD footage of these things... look like they're pretty awesome.
stronger clutch springs to allow a much higher idol, and rear tires about 15% smaller in diameter would make much better times
Hey ! Nice rc, I'm trying to get started and I'd like to get some info on how and where can I get going !?! Any info would help !
Awesome!Where do you get the rear diffs?
what they use vht or sugar water for traction
i put transmission 50 and 6 ks engine and own you...anyways i'm not here to fight, great work you really invested some funds in that. Cheers mate. ;D
Superb! THe build of one of those looks fairly straightforward, but where do you obtain the back axle?
im gonna have to agree with you on this one
lol that looks powerful but damn they are slow
how much do they weigh?
@backintack you could spend a couple grand for a 1/4 scale car. obviously they get much more elaborate.
Maybe, but if it were me i would reinforce the frame to be extra safe.
Whats the max speed for this dragster?
hey i was going to make an electric dragster and was wondering if you had some advise :)
But we do run a clutch bell set up on these dragster..
@270sly If you don't like what you see please keep you negative commits of my channel...
hi mate nice car what engine and is it two speed ? keep it running mate
awesome
And this is all u can say... He needs a new camera this is all you can get from this video... WOW.. Thank you and have a nice day!
how much cash does it take to get into this ,, if I started from scratch?
How fast do they go at top end?
That thing is fast
This is awesome :D
pretty cool
to each there own bro..Pretty mush a way to get away and meet other people
were can u buy rc dragsters at?
2nd car got a rolling start??
He didnt stop at the line first.
@ 4:00 hey now burnouts in the pits :P lol thats pretty cool, that an expensive hobby?
how fast do theygo at top end.
@xXShadowRejectsXx do you really expect a 3,5 foot long dragster to do a wheelie? lol
Is the wing bent a lil bit?
thanks bro, You should come see them in person amazing..
I will do better next time..
@Torrey1111 Thank You.
Time to put a mini v8 in it, there cheap enough now
yessir
lol camera guy thought the car was about fly
are these the cars Connely makes the blown V8's for? like the scorpian 6.09cui
sweet!!!
more then welcome to come down bro
Im going to rip my weed wacker apart. IM HOOKED!!!!!!
Come down, 6/1/09 Sunday 12pm we will have these dragsters out running some good numbers..
@baptistedeschrevel well to be scale yes! :D haha my ruslter vxl is almost 2 feet long and wheelies on demand even going 45 mph i can pop wheelies!!
that would be fun
@phreaktor1 true but i started rc draging wen i turned 13 lolz im 15 now nice rc dragsters
It's a skill chain saw motor..
LOL have to hold it for a burnout
yea, im aware of the cost and power. but if thats made out of steel, it would be fine
how long does it take to build and tune one of these?
depending in your pockets and the machine shop buddy
We will have more tire smoke this weekend,,Yeah!!!
Why heat the tires the rails don't look powerful enough to spin the tires cold.
if only the picture quality was better man it would be awsome video
how fast are they?
I would love to see some third channel brake system that could hold the car in a burn out.. But it would be impossible front wheel are way to small.
voll cool
Does that have a rb inivatiob air filter supercharger on it
thanks buddy' there are a hand full...,
holy shit
I wan one. whats the price tag on one of these?
