In a world with an immense lack of heart in 2023, it's still nice to look back at this video that has such a beautiful message. I cried when he pulled her wig off. You never know what people are going through. Absolutely beautiful messages! So much love!
I know there is not much to the lyrics, but almost every time I listen to this song and watch the video, I am on the verge of tears. We are the lucky ones.
Yes and im im maybe even luckier cuz im from Estonia and yea, love her ✨, it still amazes me that she co writed Demi Lovato’s song Skyscraper. Such an amazing talent.
I don't understand why people say they like her old stuff but not her new. Face it, it is her music, it tells us in a way, what she is feeling at the time she comes up with it, it captures her spirit regardless if it is "mainstream" or unique to her or whatever. I like her music no matter whether new Kerli or old. Kerli has always been a pioneer in her pretty much solo genre.
Sorry even she didnt like her mainstream sound as much. Watch her confession throne video. She had to go independent so she can release her not normal music.
It's good to do things the way you like them. But you can't fool your soul. If you like her past work and it lights up, but the new one doesn't, it's useless to convince yourself of anything
Yeah, i don't get it either. I love Kerli, that means all her music to me. I may not have heard everything but I've like everything i have and i been following her since myspace days. Her music graced the top of my playlist till it died.
Frankly, I love this song. To me it's uplifting. When my world is crumbling down, Kerli does make it better. This song takes me from that place that just makes me want to curl up into a small ball and stop existing and makes me feel better. Like everything will be okay. The style doesn't matter to me. I love this, regardless. Kerli, just keep doing what you're doing! ♥

I hate how some people never heard of Kerli till she made this song! I love Kerli for life! Since she first began and till the end i am forever a fan! :]
I feel as though Kerli's music isn't about the style, quite as much as the messages they send... And that is why I have always loved her music, they have great beats (whether it be heavier, softer, or more like pop) and always have a message to them, if you listen to them.
I feel like there are so few people who actually like her change. I personally love it. Now when I listen to her music I feel her happiness coming from it. Army of Love, Zero Gravity, The Lucky Ones. She's writing music (at least this album) to spread integrity, love and unity (I.L.U) I am so inspired by her and don't understand how anyone could call her a sellout. She is so far from it.

Certainly I love this song, so many bad things happened to me in my life but I still alive so I feel a lucky one. That's reason why we are the lucky one I like this song. Thank you so much :) Kerli. That song make me feel I want to live more.
That makes so much sense since at one point in the video it pans to the pills on the couples in table and it pans back to the male caressing the womans cheek after he had removed her wig. Kerli writes such beautiful music.
@@bulkpaq4713 You're obviously a little late, I wrote this comment back when fans of Love Is Dead were still heavily criticizing her and her songs for moving in a electronic pop direction. Was I also wanting to be edgy? - probably, but mainly I was just pissed because her music was being discredited for being plastic and fake and I felt that people were missing the point of it all. If you read the other comments you'll see what I was talking about.
Never ever going to give up on LOVE always cheering you on Kerli!!! You saved my life I died and came back to life because of YOU!!!! Thank you bless you forever moon children Fan!!
I've been a fan of her since she first started YEARS ago and I love what she is doing now! She has paid her dues and she deserves to change into whatever style she wants. A real Kerli fan will always back her up and support her through thick and thin. It's called loyalty! Love you Kerli!
All your songs make me want to keep working on fulfilling my own dream. Music is really everything to me, and by the quality of your songs, I can tell it is the same for you too!
Honestly, as much as I prefer her older style, I'm actually happy she's happy. It's a natural transition for any songwriter. When you're sad, you write sad songs, when you're happy, you write happy songs. Her style hasn't changed that much, it's just much brighter now. Even in her early works, as "dark" as they seemed, there was an undertone of hope. Now she's emerged from it and is still singing. And lastly, I like how she is STILL able to be "sexy" without being "slutty". Kerli is Kerli.
Aun Recuerdo cuando estaba viendo TV y en un programa de noticias de mi pais (Argentina) pusieron un poco de este video cuando se estrenó, recomendando la canción y me llamó la atención el video , fue la primera vez que conocí a Kerli.
It is truly sad to read some of these comments sometimes. People are so self-absorbed they honestly don't seem to care about others. I've seen 'fans' of hers that complain about her music style, but don't care in the least what is behind the music. If all you care about is the type of music she makes, not the person who actually sings it, then you are not a fan of *her*. You are a fan of that genre of music. Which is fine and great. But why put down someone who sings so beautifully simply because you want to have a temper tantrum. First, it is HER voice. Second, it is HER music. Third, it is HER life. Stop acting like an over controlling parent and be a TRUE fan. Love her for who she is. I've listened to her older music as well as her newer music. I like both styles. But what I find I like the most is how much more she lights up in her newer videos. Her voice expresses a happiness the older songs lacked. A song is just a song, but the person who sings it, brings it to life. Stop whining and complaining so much people. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other artists out there I am sure would love your support in the genre *you* prefer. So how about you head to their videos and show some love. Beautiful voice, beautiful videos, beautiful music, Kerli. Keep up the amazing work. I truly hope you stay happy. Though, I will probably love your music either way. They are like various chapters in my life played out to different rhythms. Love it. You have earned a new fan.
I agree her new music is much "lighter" in the sense that it's happier and in many ways stronger than her older "darker" music. Something major has happened in Kerli's life that has made her feel stronger than ever before, she's sharing that with us and I love it! As someone who has been though the type of change she has I can't say I'm suprised that her music has reflected that. Once your out of that dark place the light tends to touch every aspect of you and that comes though in her new music.
I'll never understand why anyone finds this to be "soulless" compared to her first album? Yes, it's a much more upbeat song but if you actually pay attention to the lyrics-- it's a very positive message to be found. It's all fine and dandy if it doesn't tickle your fancy or fall into the genre you personally enjoy, but that doesn't mean this song is horrible.
Finally the voice of wisdom among the haters and the naysayers! As I said before, Kerli didn't completely change, nor did she sell out to get famous. She just learned some new tricks.
+Han Lu its soulless, i guess because Kerli made this single to appease to her label at the time. there's an interview where she said her label wanted her to produce ONE song and video that wasn't.. "weird" for them. this is that song, i believe.
I dont think its really possible for Kerli to write a song that is absolutely soulless. It might not be as soulful as her other songs because she did make it for her label but it still has meaning
Totally agree... The song says "we are the lucky ones whatever comes" We see a cancer survivor, a lonely boy looking for happiness and a relationship getting stronger... not soulless at all!!!
I just listened to this song for the first time in awhile and it brought tears to my eyes. It was the first Kerli song I ever found, and I have followed her ever since and LOVED her consistently uplifting and inspiring message. This might not be the most "Kerli" song/art she ever put out into the world, but I found it at a time in my life when I really needed it. Thank you Kerli, for never giving up and for reminding me that there is more to life out there than what's in my head
I don't know why people don't like this. Yes it's different from 'Love is Dead' but thats good. Cause if she would always stay the same it would get boring. Kerli is amazing, no matter what music she makes! :)
+Candy Pop Actually. Kerli didn't sell out in any shape or form. She performed most of these songs via livestream in her old format. She has been asked why she changed her style after being gone for so long, and her words were along the lines of "I was in a dark place when I wrote all of Love Is Dead" You can watch her music videos and see the remnants of Love Is Dead being her bubble gum goth style, to the lyrics, to how the videos and songs tell a story. She chose syntho-pop and dance for this album because she felt it mixed well with the happier tones of this album, as opposed to the dark rock vibe her freshmen album. If you don't have the ears or brains to figure this out on your own, don't go saying things that are stupid.
under every fucking comment which said they liked the song and i saw you in other videos too so shut up finally and do something productive with your life
Kerli is very talented and ve underrated! She has some serious talent and needs much more airplay and a major label!!! The US usually does not support many foreign artists unless you count the UK and Australia!
+Candy Pop that's not what happened, she was very depressed when she wrote Love Is Dead, so now that she isn't anymore, she felt like her music should match her mood, but if it really bothers you; she said her new album will have a Love Is Dead vibe to it song wise, but yeah, not selling out, just wanted her songs to reflect her true self
***** No thats why you listen to her interviews and see things she posts on her social media accounts. Just a suggestion, but maybe you should think before trying to be a smart ass. Kerli has never cared about being a mainstream artists she's doing what makes her happy. She's talked about it many times.
I love that this video portrays each situation as potentially leading to violence, but then you see that all of these people are suffering in the same way and find solace in each other at the end. Very sweet. :)
I love the ending. It made me want to tear up. I really love whoever films her music video's. I just came across her music video's today by chance, starting with Walking on Air and she moves so perfectly, the movements just keep you entranced. It's just such mind blowing editing on the people behind the scene and how well she does. I don't think I've ever seen such high quality concepts and productions.
This song makes me envision a post-apocalyptic world and the last surviving group has these kickass solar powered hover cars that they use to escape to the deserts away from the toxic city of evil robots..... :)
I see how distant this song is compare to how deep and magical Kerli can be. But, what a message!!!! I feel truly happy and grateful when I listen to this song.
It depends. I think Kerli's new work IS her best yet. She's lighting up the world with her love, and she wants to share it. That's the best kind of message.
+Amin N 3 K O What she made before this and what she's making now. She talked about this song and the album in her Confession Throne video. She said she wasn't being true to herself and the record company she was with wanted "normal" stuff. Her music usually has a lot of fantasy elements and hidden meanings. But that's missing in this song. She said her record company didn't want any of the "fantasy shit". But it's not who she is so it seems strange to see her in this light.
I really don't think she feels at home while doing stuff like this when put in comparison with her debut album... This is basically a soulless club pop song with a great singer and that's it.
Jakyra Boyd ...So basically critisizing something means I dislike it? It's OK, not great but OK. ...And maybe you could do the world a favor and learn to think before you type. I'd call you an idiot, but I'm not interested in raising an online arguement. ;)
I disagree that it is soulless. The meaning behind the song is deep and inspiring, and makes me feel happy about my life, while I listen and dance to it.
I actually think it's quite the opposite. She seems so much more passionate about her music now than she used to. Not to say she didn't have passion with her previous work, but back then I think it was more... (I'm not sure how to say it... Blowing off steam?) everything sounds and feels so much more whole hearted now and just by keeping up with her on social media, she seems much more excited about her work.
The song, a synthpop/electronic dance track, was written after Kerli’s best friend’s cancer diagnosis was reversed, which inspired its lyrics’ message that encourages listeners to be thankful and “to never judge anybody because you don’t know what’s going on in their lives”. It’s accompanying music video, which amplifies this message, was released in December 2012 I think she feels right at home at this song considering she wrote it for a friend as a show of support, you should know that she wrote it for a reason, an upbeat message after her friend's cancer diagnosis was reversed
LOVE THIS SONG!! Saw her perform this at Hydrate in Chicago last Saturday. She was awesome! I yelled "WE LOVE YOU KERLI!" and she grabbed my hand and said "I LOVE YOU TOO!" I died. I danced and I died.
I love @Kerli every project of hers is getting better and better I been fallow her since the beginning and I am so proud of her progress I recommend to buy her music from iTunes to keep supporting our favorite singers no to the piracy please - We Are The Lucky Ones - Moon Children's
I'm with you on this one. This is not the Kerli I used to know :/ is always like this, they start doing something great and they change completely their style for the media...it sucks!
I think it's important to remember while you're commenting that Kerli's entire "motto" if you will is Peace, Love, and Integrity. If you're going to hate on any of her music, take it somewhere else. She's doing what she does because she's being true to herself, not because she wants to satisfy some notion you have of what kind of music she should be creating.
I don't understand how some "fans" still haven't been able to appreciate what a great song this is. Break it down yourselves. Read the lyrics, it's like a poem; play the song on piano, it doesn't sound "like the stuff on the radio". Even after she sang it acoustically, some still don't like it, which baffles me. Maybe some of you "fans" don't really like Kerli, just the genre and sound she had before.
But I still respect her as a composer, writer and artist. She isn't creating music for "the industry" she is giving us pieces of herself, and I support that to the fullest.
I love kerli, she is too talented, should be much more famous.
Echelon1000 I agree
That's a perfect idea.
She's getting there ❤
She chose another path

I like both because she does "mainstream" music well, but I understand why she went independent.

true that :(
the music is good, the video is good, why it has little views?
She hasn't sold her soul the the Devil yet :\
She has many other good songs but not succeeded. This song could be a big hit in 2012 I think it best that gangnam style
I guess people don't watch good things these days they just watch disturbing and wierd videos then hate on them and forget about these good ones...
Why? beze she haven't should hes soul to the devils like modanna and rihanna..... list goes on
This song should be hit and Kerli should be famous

+Candy Pop Why is dabbling in pop or 'selling out' particularly a bad thing?
Yup, now I'm pretty sure this song was my gay awakening! Thank u kerli for saving my life ❤️
I miss her...Where has she been in the past year and a half?
+TheBluefairy93 She will return in January!
+snowysnowwish thank god. music isn't the same without her.
True!
Her new music video premieres today! "Feral Hearts"
+TheBluefairy93 She just released a new song :D
i feel her spirit.. she looks like a butterfly!!!!:D
I love that this video portrays each situation as potentially leading to violence, but then you see that all of these people are suffering in the same way and find solace in each other at the end. Very sweet. :)

Jaimee Lee you're so trendy !

Kerli
It makes me want Kerli an Kesha together at the same time. :)
I love the ending. It made me want to tear up. I really love whoever films her music video's. I just came across her music video's today by chance, starting with Walking on Air and she moves so perfectly, the movements just keep you entranced. It's just such mind blowing editing on the people behind the scene and how well she does. I don't think I've ever seen such high quality concepts and productions.
la mejor canción que ha sacado!!!!!!
Dejame decirte que tiene varias mejores que esta, no son electronicas dance.
Lo digo felicitándola porque en realidad todas sus canciones son bienes pero en mi opinión esta es la mejor ;3
Jeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeestiiiiiiii wooooooohooooooooooooo
Eu fui, eu tava since 2008💕🇧🇷 I'm Lucky one.
This song makes me envision a post-apocalyptic world and the last surviving group has these kickass solar powered hover cars that they use to escape to the deserts away from the toxic city of evil robots..... :)
Love this video and the message of it , kerli ❤️ you
I see how distant this song is compare to how deep and magical Kerli can be. But, what a message!!!! I feel truly happy and grateful when I listen to this song.
2017
Love you Kerli, from Croatia!
I am from Croatia too
fiona hale yaaas preach it gurl!
haha
fiona hale imas twitter ili last.fm? :D
Imam ask,a twitter ne :)Na asku se zovem Fiona411
It depends. I think Kerli's new work IS her best yet. She's lighting up the world with her love, and she wants to share it. That's the best kind of message.
so happy to see how many fans she has now.
I was there from the beginning! Love how much succes she has now
to people who are uninformed, look up this song. it's about her friend's cancer diagnosis being reversed... still think it sucks, don't you?
Hate that they took soo long to put this song available....:(
Kerli Walking On Air [Armin van Buuren Club Mix] also very beautiful track :-)
A normal song from a normal looking Kerli seems strangely abnormal to me.
Agreed. This is not her normal style.
Yeah, but this was when her record label rejected all her stuff and told her to write "normal" music.
Yeah makes you sad seeing this stuff because you know its not really her doing what she wants with her own music.
You mean a beautiful song from a beautiful looking Kerli!
Super lugu!
Love the way she perform
Kerli from Estonia and im to
I really don't think she feels at home while doing stuff like this when put in comparison with her debut album...
Merman Kai Or she's well compensated for pretending that she is passionate.
The song, a synthpop/electronic dance track, was written after Kerli’s best friend’s cancer diagnosis was reversed, which inspired its lyrics’ message that encourages listeners to be thankful and “to never judge anybody because you don’t know what’s going on in their lives”. It’s accompanying music video, which amplifies this message, was released in December 2012
I think she feels right at home at this song considering she wrote it for a friend as a show of support, you should know that she wrote it for a reason, an upbeat message after her friend's cancer diagnosis was reversed
Why is this video so mainstream... I miss the old kerli😔
Just keep me close
There is no storm we can not weather
However how high, however low
I will face forever
Another great one. I can’t get enough of your content! Time to make some music myself. 🙂💟❤️♥️💚
I love the song but I think it could've had more lyrics. It feels repetitive all verses.
She wrote skyscraper for Demi lovato
If you watch confession throne she says her management from the record company made her make a video with no characters and no story ;-;
You didn't see a story or characters in that video?
+Amanda Harker no??
+Kawaii jpop actually sorry
+Amanda Harker it's just not her normal character style idk
LOVE THIS SONG!! Saw her perform this at Hydrate in Chicago last Saturday. She was awesome! I yelled "WE LOVE YOU KERLI!" and she grabbed my hand and said "I LOVE YOU TOO!"
I died. I danced and I died.
I love @Kerli every project of hers is getting better and better I been fallow her since the beginning and I am so proud of her progress I recommend to buy her music from iTunes to keep supporting our favorite singers no to the piracy please - We Are The Lucky Ones - Moon Children's
She was pushed by her label to make this and it's obvious.
Erm...no
NOPE! I HATE IT!!! -___-.....I like her old stuff.
I like her old stuff too, but I like her new stuff as well. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to scream it out to the whole world.
I'm with you on this one. This is not the Kerli I used to know :/ is always like this, they start doing something great and they change completely their style for the media...it sucks!
that's fine. You can have your opinion, and I can have mine.
I love Kerli's music and I'm glad we have happy Kerli making fun songs to dance to!:D
I wish she sold the Army Of Love posters (seen at 0:48) as merch. I'd love one. SO. SO. MUCH.
KRL!! QUE MUSICA FODA!! KERLI TRAGA MAIS KIRIDA!!! PERFEITA, SIMPLESMENTE PERFEITA!!! 💋💓💋
1:22 EARGASM, BODYGASM. I love Kerli
But I still respect her as a composer, writer and artist. She isn't creating music for "the industry" she is giving us pieces of herself, and I support that to the fullest.
Amazing as always .
No surprises just best video female artist past 20 years.
Beautiful song... Amazing video... Kerli should be more famous.....
