I'm from Puerto Rico, I move to Florida almost 3 years ago and here the installs are a little different, we use sometimes for big amps welding cable, and equalizers(4 bands, 5 bands, 7 bands and some people 9 bands) we use a lot of PRV audio, audiopipe, EV, Ds18, Celestion, B&C, Beyma, 18sound, Pioneer, 02, Massive, Boss, Faital pro mostly 8inch mid-range, 10", 12", 15" all mid-range, for subwoofers 15", 18" or 21", for amps Taramps, Banda, ds18, power acoustic, MMatts, pioneer, audio pipe, ma audio, hope you guys can check some of does videos on youtube( type "Voceteo Puerto Rico") too see if you will be interested in doing an install like that,

Very cool. I just bought the Power T1000 for my 2, P3 10s. I don't get the clip detect, but I also don't have to deal with the high level inputs. lol Those things suck!
Would love to hear your perspective on infinite baffle in a car like this. Always a challenge to get the bass out of the trunk and into the cabin so IB seems a sensible option.

Just got a c6 corvette. IM trusting you on these 2 amps... I just ordered both of them as room is obviously an issue for me. The first serious amps I remember back in HS was the Zapco Z150... it was tiny and had serious power, so I'm expecting big things from these two. That problem you found was ridiculous. That might have taken me a week as I would not be thinking wiring out of the box would be a problem. I also wouldnt have had a spare one lying around to plug right into that amp. Wish it just had straight RCA inputs. The guy that owns this vehicle must not be married. Taking out one perfectly good system to install an "Upgraded," system is the stuff of single guys.....lol
Weird stuff happens, had something similar happen with rca cables. Why i always test any wires that i run prior to install now ... I've seen new regular copper power wire that had gaps of wire missing inside after running 50ft in a boat... Great videos keep em coming. ..

Sell these as well as the marine version of them as well. We also have had one instance of the rca having a short new out of the box. Have always been impressed with them especially the marine versions. We do a lot of the marine 400.4 in Harley's during the summer months and they just do a fantastic job.

Guys have a quick question, I have installed a the Rockford Mini T400X4AD I installed in a smart fortwo. I using the front two channels for the doors and tweets ( Custom cut holes in the door panel for the tweets) and bridging the back channels to a Pioneer sealed 10 in sub. I also installed the Kenwood DMX905s. My question is I used the crossovers on the Kenwood as they seemed to have more options and went passthrough for the amp. Did I choose right?
Same Rockford amp. But I get static in my components. Not really a buzz like what you heard. I've done all of the troubleshooting and still can't figure it out. The static is relative to the gain and is present with at volume zero with gains set less than 25%

What amp fuse size did you guys use for the installation??? 100 amp fuse 120 amp fuse? And 4 gauge wire right???

The small Rockford Fosgate amps are very good, especially for a stealthy setup. i have been running them for over six months now and its crisp clean output. I, however, find that they become quite hot when i push them for a decent amount of time. Is this normal or what could be the problem.
Why not just layer another thinner sheet of plastic onto the existing amp rack so you can cover old holes and place new ones where you want them?

---When doing gain overlap, do you mean that the sub amp is set at a +5dB test tone and Mids/highs are set using -5dB test tone since highs typically need less power to be perceived at the same loudness, and subs need more power?
There is no such thing as a +5 dB test tone. The loudest is 0. He set the mid-range amplifier using a -5 dB and set the subwoofer amp at -5 dB. It's usually recommended to set the sub amp at -10 since it's much harder to hear distortion through the sub. He used -5 because the user can turn up the sub level on the headunit.

What did you do for fuses? Did you just put a main in equal to both amps? Do they have protection built in? Love your channel!

the p3 are 600w each and like even more power, a pair could do with 1500wrms so better with the p2

I'm very interested in this amplifier. I've been looking into getting 2 750 watt versions of it. I want to have 1 amp per sub. What are your thoughts with the 750.1 with a 3 ohm JL Audio Shallow sub rated at 600 watts RMS in a sealed enclosure?

So the noise you had with the rca did u replace it with the same part just trying to make sure so I won't run into this problem I just bought that 4 channel amp to run my speakers off of with t2652-s components on the front and t1693 at the back
No we cut off the rca ends and replace them with new ends

Y’all should use some PRV Audio speakers and amps also. They’re amazing.
Downsizing from P3s to P2s for that amp was reasonable. One t750 would be ok for only a single P3.

I just cant figure out the difference in a p1000x5 or a t1000x5ad. Space isnt an issue and differe ce in price isnt enough to matter.
Personally I would go with the t400.4 and the t750.1. That is my go to Rockford 5 Channel

I would have went with a prime r1200.1 or punch 1000.1 instead of that 750.1 on those p3’s

For quicker testing, you could get some type of action movie or video game score and use a track that comes on in a fight scene. No intro, straight to business. My personal go to is "Blazko Kill the Nazis" from the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus OST. not impressed with p3's spund quality is great but i had to upgrade to get thundering low excursion that ratttles my shop garage doors 100 ft away
this is a late reply, but rockford bozes for them are tuned somewhat high. around 40 hertz. need a custom box tuned down to 26hz or so in order to really get that out of them.
