💕💕💕
Skin tight clothes is all i have 😭 i have no natural curves i neeeeeeeeeed.
I’m glad I found this because I’m trying to dress class and not boujee. That’s a cute style too but I’m getting older and trying to make a wardrobe that I won’t have to replace every few years
I'm so glad!
Amen to that
Girl!!!!
I feel you on that
My Mother taught Me this. I guess Mothers don't do that anymore. My Mom wore a mink coat to go shop for Groceries. I am Black, and I went to work for the World's largest Airline. Next, I worked for a Bank, the Man that hired Me said I am glad that airline showed you Black Women how to dress. I said my Mother taught Me, he laughed said that's a fairly tale. I said no, stop being condsending.
It’s nice to see my photo being represented in such a elegant way. Who would’ve known I had to be on the cover of someone’s UA-cam video. All-around great video
It's been hard finding videos that show black women. Thank you so much!
So true!
Glad you guys are enjoying my videos😊
Righhhhttttt
Yes! I was thinking the same thing.
Love that you specified the difference between boujie/classy.
Correct, for the young female who watches this or older and might not know the difference these examples sets them up for success, because they know what to avoid and what to aim for based off these visuals.
Cocoa Styling, does an superb job, I wish her health to continue to bring these videos to us.
This is much needed in the day-and-age of Cardi B and Megan the Stallon who I both enjoy but do not like them to be representing of all black women. We need balance as white women and every other group to be shown not ONE WAY as black women. Not all of us are sexualized and actually many of us want quality gentlemen as well.
Yes! That's why I like my Style series, all sort of different styles and aesthetics with examples that look like us
@@cocoastyling Thank you, and please keep doing what you are doing. I support this channel 100%.
@kj 100% truth!
Amen
@kj Neither is this influencer.
I appreciate you including the beauty of natural hair.
can you do a version of this video for plus sized women ... ive noticed that sometimes wearing loose fitted clothes can make plus size women look bigger
That's a great idea!
This channel was much needed and I hope it continues to grow.
Soooo glad you mentioned that it’s ok to wear your natural hair. I’ve been trying to find classy hairstyles that don’t make me look like a teacher Or a toddler. Do you mind creating a video about how to wear your natural hair in a classy manner?
Great idea:)
This was an amazing tutorial. I am clearly a white woman . Most of my girlfriends are black women so I wanted to watch and see the styles recommended. I took away classy styles and advice for myself as well . What a beautiful video. I'll share with my girls too. Thank you Cocoa.
My tips are: if you have a clothing staple that's good enough quality to hang on to for a while: GET IT TAILORED! $15 Investment will make you look so much more polished. Also, DIP NAILS. Short or almond, chill and neutral dip nails take 20 mins.
I'm so glad I found this channel. I'm to enhance my wardrobe for my 20s.
Welcome aboard!

I am so tempted to change my style to the classic style. I am 30 and no longer a teenager but I am having such an issue with trying to grab the attention of my future husband. Wherever he is.
My Sister, you will find him. Less is more. Quality Gentlemen attract feminine, articulate and well dressed women. The key is to be confident in your skin and attire...
He will find you with the classic style. Mine did 😍

@Baddie Kayladoll is it?
It’s weird because I’m such a creative person that emboy all styles I can’t just pick one.
Sporty
Wow I really love this
Excellent. Please keep up the good work. It is needed.
Thanks, will do!
Great video! I am streamlining my wardrobe to be all classic. To do a classic style you can wear things that skim your figure but DO so tight it looks like you were poured in. If it’s gaping or pulling anywhere it is TOO tight!
Focus on good quality basics. Less is more with this style. You can find great pieces second hand. Window shop the better stores so you can recognize the labels if you happen to thrift. Quality is better than quantity. You don’t need labels and too much flash with it. You don’t need designer necessarily especially when you’re starting out. You could even sew your own clothing and it would be just fine.
Stay OUT of the leggings, hoodies and the like. You can wear slimmer sneakers preferably in a solid colors. Unless you are doing something active stay out of the athletic wear.
Those are great tips!💖
Quality over quantity is definitely important in this style, but that doesn't mean it has to be expensive, especially with timeless pieces, they are easier to find.
This was surprisingly helpful. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
This was so helpful 😍

Thank you!
Thank you for creating this video! and this channel dedicated to black women! this means so muuchhh!! ive been searching for a channel like this!! also your accent is so pretty!!
Thank you!
Every race of women. Telling. the black woman how to dress. What colors not too wear on their dark skin what you know with your accent. Scared too help the white woman because millions of them need help. But you are looking at their best and our worst. I don't need you. Go figure
@@normajean7882 Thank you because I agree. Within the first few minutes of the video I knew that this wasn't a blk influencer. But she uses the name Cocoa styling for blk women and even gives a reply that she is blk. OK...Rachel Dolezal.
@@normajean7882 Well, if you read the description you would know that the reason why I made the channel is that I am both black and a fashion stylist.
This was helpful
Hi ! I found your channel yesterday and I subscribed immediately because I love the content and the fact that you are focused on black women.
Can you do a video about accessories please. I am a fan of accessories more than clothes. But sometimes I have the impression of doing too much or badly associates them.
Sure! They are also a very important part of an outfit
I’m 17 and even though I wanna dress classy, I don’t wanna look too serious for my age. Do you think this would be right for me?
The classy style work for everyone, however, you can mix it with a few preppy elements to make it a bit more youthful.
This is my video on the preppy style:): ua-cam.com/video/m2dXieb7ETw/v-deo.html

Great Idea!
just found this channel, love
Welcome!!
This is so Great!! You’re a sweetie so classy! Thank you for these great tips! Love seeing my people with such chic styles.
Just found this now... New subbie😊💕
Thanks for subbing!
Thank you , for saving our community in the day-and-age of the trashy look becoming so mainstream. The more regular black women explore this classy look it changes what we attract, how we feel, and what could be. I have noticed since I dress more classy people actually treat you better, and the people I attract now are of more quality.
Who wouldn't want an upgrade? Let's get her channel to a million subscribers, send these videos to your friends, family members anyone who can benefit and grow, it's only a copy and text away, Let's go girls!

Thanks!
Excellent video. I have subscribed.
Thanks and welcome:)
Can you do a self care, hygiene series?
As a Married gentleman (outsider), I hope I may contribute to this wonderful channel....
Ladies, less is more. Quality Gentlemen attract feminine, articulate and well dressed women. The key is to be confident in your skin, attire (clothing that fits well to your body type) and most of all have impeccable etiquette...
This is a true statement; however there are so few quality men.
@@iusedtolovecheesecake2205 , interesting observation. However, that said, I believe it is down to upbringing and a lack of Masculinity and traditional values...
The quality men are out there. I meet them daily....
@@AbdulKareem-uy6hk I agree with the first statement, but the second is a little difficult for you to gauge. Keep in mind you know those men a friendship basis. You aren't looking to date them, so there will be characteristic flaws that you're oblivious to.
@@iusedtolovecheesecake2205 , ***disclaimer*** I never mentioned these men I see daily are my friends.
Secondly, both male and female, usually judge ones character based on mannerisms and the way one conducts themselves.
Thirdly, how do women today judge a good character? What is one's definition of a quality man today?
Lastly, perhaps the "few quality men" today are either Married or those that are single may also find it a challenge in meeting quality women 👀
@@AbdulKareem-uy6hk of course, any logical person judges a person overall on mannerisms etc. Also keep in mind you can also meet a person's representative as well.
I've dated a man whom everyone would give him praises on his kind gestures, his outgoing personality, his "big heart" little did people know he was suffering with a personality disorder and a whole host of other issues. He kept these things under wraps. No one believed he was like this.
A good quality man is a man who's honest with himself and what he wants. A man of integrity, one who's selfless, you get the point.
I can agree, trying to find someone of quality is like a needle in a haystack. Too many people again, put forth their representative to use you for personal gain. Neither side trusts the other.
Just got to this channel! I love it. Is it best to pick out a particular style? I didn't realize until now that I had an affinity for dark academia, Boho, unisex clothing. As I am getting older I have heard that I should pick a particular style, but I don't want to put myself in a box. I do however, want to dress more classy and feminine.
The best style to chose is your own personal style! You can take inspiration from lots of aesthetics, you don't have to commit to a particular one. I will say that understanding the basics of the styles and aesthetics that you like can help you give them your own personal touch:)
