Just got mine and made a quick book of my machine embroidery print out and it works PERFECTLY! VERY happy here and I see many books to come in the future! now to purchase more "supplies"
Hopefully the appropriate glue will be available absent the designer paper. That would be the game changer. If not, the machine would not be so useful to make "original" books.
@@liznystrom7898 hi! Suggested retail price for the 12 inch glue strips is as follows: 12 pack for $9.99, 50 pack for $29.99. HSN pricing will be different on 1/30. We hope that helps.
This does indeed have multiple bad reviews 😢 but they may be due to user error since this is a new product. (Some of them look as though the paper was not even and did not reach the glue layer.) I'm interested in seeing more demos. How strong are the fumes from the melted glue and heating element? Do the books stay intact? I remember using notebooks with this binding instead of wire spirals and they would eventually start losing pages. Thanks.
Very excited for this machine! When will the HSN Today's Special be airing for this product? Or will it just be in their store? If so, do you know what time it will drop? I'm on the west coast of the U.S., so Pacific Time. Thank you!
Hi! We’re not sure where you’re finding reviews on Amazon because it’s not available there yet. We’ve had tons of positive comments from the over 8K crafters who own this machine and are creating fabulous books with it. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have by reaching out to our customer service team via email: info@americancrafts.com.
@@WeR_Makers I seen the review from a private seller the lady bought it from hsn I have lots of your products I’m going to get your thermal next yes I’m going to try it out looked at other reviews on you tube
Yes! Our team made a few by sticking a glue strip on the top edges of the pages and then wrapping them tightly with parchment paper while binding. The parchment comes right off and you can trim the glue strip to fit. You can see the process here: instagram.com/reel/C20uYSwve13/?igsh=eGZ4Mnd1cmpxbXdy
Hi! Do you mean soft acetate or hard acrylic? Acetate as pages and covers yes, they work. Acetate spine, no because it would melt on the heating element. Hard acrylic-we haven’t tested that, but it seems too heavy to work as pages, but could work as covers.
Agora só falta saber se isso vai ser lançado no Brasil? Aqui somos excluídos muitos produtos de vocês não vendem aqui só se importa a uma custo super alto!
I just received my new machine and kit. If you use your own paper to cut out binding strips, what adhesive is recommended for the front/back strips that are not heated at the bottom of the machine?
Any strong double sided craft tape will do. This one’s our personal favorite: americancrafts.com/products/sticky-thumb-double-sided-super-sticky-red-tape-5x5yd
Bonjour, est-ce possible de faire un encollage traditionnel (avec une colle blanche liquide), de placer la couverture et ensuite, passer le livre dans la thermocolleuse ? Merci !
Hi! Please check out the video description for purchasing details. For help finding the nearest local retailer, please send an email to our customer service team: info@americancrafts.com.
can you buy the glue bond separately or it comes with the design? I prefer simple designs and no flowers or anything. Can see so many projects but I prefer solid color for binding.
Each book binding style is a bit different. This one is called “perfect” binding and is similar to a paperback book style binding. You can open plenty wide to see everything you need, but not entirely flat. Our other Cinch binding machines can do that.
