@@rroberts2023 Of course they did. They didn't go that far because full nudity is not allowed in a game like this, in fact they had to censor the sprites for the Saturn port (even though they're really not that explicit). Sadly in the sequels they ditched the pilot portraits entirely.

This game drives me crazy not because it’s too hard to beat, but because whenever you get a power bar or a bomb, the upgrade always travel UPWARDS to the screen, and never move towards you! It’s very hard to re-gain power bar once you lose a life, making you likely to lose all 3 lives in a few seconds.

You need to clear normal difficulty to unlock Hard, reach stage 8 to unlock Very Hard difficulty. Hard difficulty is Normal difficult on the original Arcade version which has 2 loops to clear.

Forget about Starcraft, counter strike and all that shit, this is THE game that I used to spend hours and many tokens in arcade playing, while avoiding my parents and teachers from finding me after school (btw FUCK them teachers). Just downloaded the IOS game and my first play went to level 7 with 3 lives. It is pretty fun, although the problem I described above still persists: you need to wait at least 3 seconds for any power ups to travel UPWARD and return to the middle of the screen so you can get it. Striker 1945III (Striker 1999) is my favourite striker series, and it doesn’t have the power up problem. The planes are modern, and the boss battles are also more challenging and fun.

while i like sony and sega... xbox had some games that are top top great for parties. besides halo. that asteroids type download game where u used the joysticks and the triggers (AMAZING) get the high score. fuzion frenzy insane mini game battles. i like that my friends mainly had xbox and n64. it was like i got to experience all the systems. online is cool, but id rather play with my friends in person

AC版はどうだか解らないけど、セガサターン版だと、全クリアの仕方によってはＥＤでプレイした機体の操縦者のグラフィックが入るんだよね（エンドロールの一部に)、でも…自分はAC版ではそんな芸当は無理だしセガサターン版でもゲームレベルを最弱にしてやっとこさ全クリア出来るくらい下手っぴなんだよね。
ここのシューティングは嫌いでした
彩京弾と言われる初見殺しの高速弾が多いのにもかかわらず、ボムの初期値が2つだけ
遊ばせる気がないだろと思った
確かに人によっては弾幕系よりも苦手と言われる方もますからね。分かります。
