After one month of Euro Cup it's finally the last game and Italy will play against England at Wembley, their home. The 2 teams have been the best so far in the tournament and both deserved the final. I'm watching the game with Marina in a park outside Rome and though I don't usually get carried away about football I have to admit that this year I've been really enjoying all the games and I'm quite nervous for tonight.
I have a lot of dear English friends and I kind of feel bad wanting to beat them but, hey, it's just a game, let's enjoy it no matter what😉

Fiero di essere inglese? 😬 Forse non hai visto i tifosi inglesi a Wembley! è perché ho tifato l'Italia. Piú, erano molti piacevoli da guardare per tutto il campionato ;) specialmente Spinazzola, Chiesa, Bonucci e Pessina.
A proposito, puoi spiegare come hai usato il verbo mancare in il video? You said there were 30 minutes missing (extra time) whereas in english we would say that there is 30 minutes left to play or still to play so my english brain is having major trouble making sense of it!
So, MANCARE has different meanings (to need, to be lacking, to miss) and one of them is "to be left", as in MANCA SOLO UN CHILOMETRO PER ARRIVARE A ROMA, MANCANO POCHI GIORNI ALL'INIZIO DELLE OLIMPIADI....Btw, your understanding of the language is pretty good, bravo😉
@@DolceVitaChannel Ah ok, buona spiegazione! So I could say HA MANCATO IL SUO RIGORE about one of the players who missed haha. Grazie, but I still can't process it when listening, I need to read the subtitles first, check what some of the less common words mean then watch it again. I can construct sentences decently if I have time although I really struggle with prepositions for the word "to". I have no idea whether to use a/da/di/per, maybe this might be a good idea for a future video with some common verbs and examples.
Must be kinda awkward to wear that shirt surrounded by other Italians.
