While we were in Umbria we took a day trip to Tuscany to visit the beautiful towns of Montepulciano, famous for its red wine Nobile di Montepulciano, and Pienza, famous for its pecorino cheese.
This part of Tuscany is called Val D'Orcia and it's known around the world for it beauty. The medieval building and the green slopes full of cypress trees are very picturesque.
We took nice strolls, had coffee, tried local dishes with truffles and of course, we tasted the wonderful wine of Tuscany.
