such a great video! I got the Sony a9 III about 3 weeks ago. I shoot a bit of everything including birds and wildlife. sometimes I cant zoom further than the 70-200 + X2 teleconverter ( which gives me about 400mm at 5.6), so when I crop in at lightroom , im starting to see a lot of quality loss. this makes me wonder if I didnt do a mistake by getting the A1, or perhaps I would have gotten similar results. I usualy crop about 30-40% into the photo when im lacking zoom. do you see a huge difference between the A1 and a9 III when it comes to cropping ?
@@wtfstop from reviews I read about teleconverters, I didnt see them talking about loss of quality for cropping. Is it very noticeable from ur experience?
@@gadgetman7119 I have not with the A1 and have not used A9iii enough with teleconverters but I am currently working with the A9iii, 300mm f2.8 and the teleconverters I will be doing a video on my findings
Absolutely great video good to see some action with what the 9 iii. I found you because I was looking at that Sony A1 on Facebook that you have. unfortunately, I still can’t afford it but I can dream lol. Kind of curious to see if they come out with the Sony A1 ii with a higher megapixel, but same features as the 9 iii
I am hope so! honestly I am enjoying the lower megapixels and I don't see any image quality differences till you zoom in and pixel peep. The insect tracking is amazing I have been getting bee's in flight while photographing wildflowers Video coming soon. They are suppose to be releasing a update for the A1 but still just a rumor nothing yet.

Thanks for watching. I can crop more if I don’t use teleconverters. And yes I can crop quite a bit more on the A1

@@wtfstop absolutely!! When I have some time I’ll probably browse through your videos. It’s always good to see a local UA-camr.
Are you in the Corpus Area? or in the great state of Texas? @@AllengerPhotography
I’m here in Rockport, so not too for
200-600 can do 120 fps, so don't worry about that.
Ya I reached out to Sony and they sent me a list of everything compatible
