Even when they win, they don't play very good at all..The Goalies are the ONLY reason we're even around the top of the Atlantic period. As far as Mathews, I think he's been battling injuries all year, even when he's been playing.. something has been off with him all season. I'm starting to worry about the longevity of his career, he's very injury prone. It's a shame too, because he's one of the best goal scorers on the planet and definitely the best that's ever wore a Leafs jersey. Just our Luck though, us Leafs fans can't have anything nice 😔🤦....Great video as always bud! Keep em coming.
So far this season I grade the Leafs skaters a C and the Leafs goaltending an A. We are in first place not so much cause we are playing well but because our goaltending is stealing games for us and our division rivals suck even more than us somehow.
@ they’ve played 6 games over the span of the last 10 days. 3 in the last 4, yes they’re tired, but they also won 4/6 of those games. Maybe the team should try harder regardless of tiredness, but you don’t want to risk injury.
It's odd to see the confusion on well seasoned players. Sometimes just standing there looking around like they don't know where they should be or what they should focus on. There are like 2-3 players you can count on from night to night.
I agree the Leafs have been poor for weeks and have just been lucky to be winning, they need a big trade to shake up things or it will be another early playoff exit. I feel bad for Tanev he must be wondering what he got himself into playing with a bunch of pretty boys!

Come the trade deadline I want Tavares, Reilly, McCabe, Kampf, Jarnkrok, Holmberg, Reeves (approx 27m) gone for 2 decent puck moving D men @ 9m each a C @ 9m and picks. Bring on the GD cats.

Hey at least the Leafs are winning. My favorite team the Bruins are in rebuild and probably won't make the playoffs. Be happy Leaf fans, they're a great team and can't believe I am saying this, I hope they get first place over the Florida Panthers (I can't stand the Panthers).

This is what I'd like to see, Knies, Papi, Domi, keep Patch, JT, Nylander, here's the crazy part McMann, Marner, Robertson, now out of the player's that Berube auditioned for the middle of the third line Marner is their best fit. Other than size Marner brings all the other attributes. But out of them all Marner's defensively sound and nobody on this team makes play's like Marner does. Then Dewar, Holmberg, Lorentz, that is what I'd like to see, why not give it a look, you've got nothing to lose.
The ones complaining about your reviews, are exactly that they are, casual fans that look at score sheets and catch the odd game. They have no clue how really average and bad this team really is for the past 9 seasons. Yes good in the reguler season, but god awful in the post season when it gets hard and tuff. This team is soft as babyshit, the core 4 is the worst for this softness. The only one that goes to the net is Tavares but his feet are failing him as the older he gets. Still has great hands but his speed and ability are done.
Trade Rielly and get a real defender for that 7mil where's all that offense that was going to be released now they got him that perfect defensive defender to partner with. He's to busy being a family man now, hockey just pays the bills now for Rielly
