The story of this controller is hilarious too: The company that definitely totally WASN'T Ubisoft, did a sponsorship where they told several streamers to send them two items from around their house, and that (totally not) Ubisoft would make a controller for them to use. Most of these controllers went over just fine, wacky hijinks with deeply suboptimal controllers. Unfortunately, RTGame had recently played a game that gave him a baby doll, which his chat immediately got attached to, and then a cooking game for which he jokingly put that baby doll in a blender.
So when Totally NOT Ubisoft asked him for two items, he sent that doll, and a blender. The company decided to put the baby inside it all on their own, which is why they no longer want to be associated with it, as I'm sure that's a PR Nightmare.
Why is it a PR nightmare? People take shit so seriously

@@ryder98307 If you don't understand how an infant in a blender being associated with your company would be a PR Nightmare, your definition of extremes has been warped by exposure to extremes on a regular basis via the internet, not that that's a bad thing, mind you. Just because a baby in a blender doesn't shock you, doesn't mean it's a good look for a company.

Fair, was also wondering about that, but tbh, this is the best reality since RT put him into the child auctioning: they get money for charity, and he stays inside the Yt friend group (Doug, pointcrow, and RT has all colabed at least once, so at least RT can borrow back the blender if he even needs it.)

When they made that controller, Ubisoft never thought that it will go for 6k.

I unironically wanna see that. That controller looks like such a pain in the ass to use for even a handful of minutes; to try and perform speedrun tactics with it would be a wild thing to watch

Imagine if you could send any two items and those two items would be fused together to make a controller.
With a chance like that a person would get creative and weird with those two items. So Rtgame sent in a baby doll and a blender. The person who made the controller had put the baby in the blender and severed its head for the joystick.
As a long time RTgame fan, I still can't believe anyone would buy the blender baby controller lol

The amount of autistic happy stimming I did watching Albert go from one of my favorite creators to joint custody of some of my other favorites was so fun. I'm surprised I didn't break my chair.
