Thanks for the fascinating video. UA-cam is not letting me write comments except as replies to existing comments. I don't know why. Your video made me wonder if Margaret's dad really didn't take his own life but rather could have been murdered. If he was such a caring family man, it seems unlikely he would have just done himself in for such a reason as an accusation of treason... Obviously the king disliked him and might have put him to death.
@@heard3879 how odd that you can’t comment! It is totally possibly something nefarious happened. This was just what was written in the day. He definitively was disgraced.
Aww I love you friend your voice makes me feel like I’m there in real life , loved watching her story in the “white queen “and “white princess”…. Thank you EE for all you do always 🥰🏰
I hope Margaret Beaufort is burning in hell with Charlemagne, King John I, King Henry III, King Edward I, King Henry VII, King Henry VIII, Marie de Medici, King Louis XIV, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn, Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King Edward VIII, King George VI, and Prince Philip. 👗👠👑💍🇬🇧
Oh my goodness! I had no idea. I can't imagine going through that before I'm even double digits ans the getting married, getting pregnant, being widowed and having a difficult birth because the age is still of adolescence!! My goodness! Those were very different times then indeed.
In those days, a women's wealth would transfer to her husband upon marriage. But after her first husband died, does she/ any women get her/ their wealth back? Or does it go the husband's family?
She wad married several times. Usually there is what is called a “dower” settlement involved in the marriage. She would get that when the husband died. The titles and land would go to the next male heir if there was one.

Margaret has such a sad story 😢
I agree. She’s another historic figure I think people get very wrong.
