When I found out that GameShark codes worked in online PS2 games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, I had a great time trolling as a teenager.
I was doing things like skating around freely for as long as I wanted while everyone else was frozen in place after the 2 minute timer was up. The only way to end the game was for everyone to pause -> quit.
Or I'd use the perfect balance cheats and force people to watch me for 5+ minutes after the round ended because I was still in the middle of an ungodly long combo.
Also had a great time using aimbots, wall hacks, etc. in Counter Strike on PC.
Good times. I no longer believe in cheating online, but I had some great times when I was a young jerk.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan NES games ccould be BRUTAL...no checkpoints, no save files, sometimes 1 hit = dead (not to mention things like falling in water or dropping off a ledge or something), only 1-3 lives, sometimes only 1 continue and it would always leave you at the start of the level. Thank god for game genie back then 😂😂😂
