Kellys back with some more with pinkfloyd another great song and great concert as well. Wintersun Alex and Cathy ❄️❄️🫶
“sorrow” from this concert is incredible, if you haven’t heard it yet.
As is Sorrow from the 2016 concert, and Sorrow from Madison Square Gardens on 10 November last year .... the final note is still sounding
With these three Pink Floyd gentlemen and the group there are no egos!! They give everybody their time up front on the stage in front of everybody to show their talents!! That's why everybody on this tour is smiling all the time!!! David, the leader has no ego he just wants everybody to enjoy themselves!!!
Dave and Nick ( drums) took flying lesson together. You can hear in the back ground an actual recording of Nick talking to the ground control. Dave bought and sold an vintage aircraft museum. "Pulse" 14 days in a row sold out > Their last tour ever. Give Dave's some of 3 solo work after
Loved the reaction, this was the second song of the concert after Shine on and when we heard it and saw the light show we knew that we were in for a hell of a night, brilliant, I noticed your sweat and that you like watching people who catch crabs for a living, lol love it.
Great choice! ❤
David Gilmour enlisted the brilliant Tim Renwick on guitar for the Pulse tour. Not bad for a second string. He also played a decent solo on Another Brick in the Wall.
Also in WISH YOU WERE HERE and in ONE OF THESE DAYS
Not many people can say that they played lead guitar with David Gilmour on rhythm.
I look forward to watching your vids, always enjoy your pink floyd journey..well done! Every day I search for new reaction content on my favorite PF songs, and can say with all honesty that it brings me great joy to watch younger generations discover the incredible music from a bygone era. Started listening in grade school in the 70s.
If you are looking for gilmour at his best, have you reached to the pulse version of Sorrow?
Ya gotta do Keep Talking from Pulse! Intro dialog by Stephen Hawkins.
I second that motion.
Hi 🫶
What a surprise. It's amazing that you accepted my suggestion and shared with us your impression...👍
Learning to fly musically use a rhythmic percussions and bass as a ground, as human material like individual experiences, senses, emotions, etc... as a real matter from where we should start, but totally being conscious of it as a potential, a tools. Accepting it, using it then going beyond.... that's why it's called LEARNING to fly...!
The music is also creating a kind of unidentified sensation of disturbance, unidentified because even it's a disturbance it's kept harmonious... that's what generate a certain energy, a creative energy, a result of its coherence instead of its disturbance...! Are the lyrics the depiction of the music or the opposite is the truth ? 😊
Waiting for your next reaction 😉 !
Thank you 🎼
David was a Qualified pilot as was Nick Mason Drums! I believe David sold most of his collection maybe kept a Lear Jet lol Believe that was the inspiration behind song & Tim Renwick on 2nd guitar i believe was originally a birthday present for him initially to play the main solo on live tour as David does all guitars on studio version.🍀✌️👍
IMO, Tim Renwick is the perfect complementary player to David. He's got a bit more flash than David, yet stays within David's melodic style. David let's Tim shine here, and on the second solo for Another Brick In the Wall. Someone said in the comments that with Roger not here, there are no egos. That's absolutely true. It's why everyone here is smiling and having such a good time.
David played multiple guitar parts on the album(s). So the only way to replicate that live is to have another guitarist who is on par with David. And David is not greedy, he is happy to let others shine. Yes both David and Nick were pilots and owned planes. In fact one of the planes they owned is featured in this video:

There are so many Floyd tunes yet to react to, most of which are epic. However try something newer... David's latest album and he did a 21 show tour last fall - check out the song called "Scattered". David does two heavenly solos, one on acoustic and then electric at the end. He says in the making of video, this is his best work since Dark Side of the Moon in 1973:
ua-cam.com/video/bZL5Jc5QSL8/v-deo.html (Scattered) it is a rather bittersweet reflection on life, and acknowledging being nearer the end than the beginning...
Probably my favorite alltime PF song. And the live version is amazing!
Please react to Liliac Not Afraid or Carousel. their name is pronounced like Lilly-Ack.
@@wesleyputnam6524 I'm. Glad you mentioned that 😁❤️
