Yeah I tried this and the magnet also pulls the shelving down that the bright blue bavarium sits on. If it's metal it will get pulled towards you.

Well... That is not as an awesome tip as some people tend to say, I don't even start dropping the ore when I'm nearly at 10-20 seconds, *you have to understand that the time replenishes when you drop ore*. And so in the end it means you can get between 2.5 and 4 gears in one go. Just drive slow and steady, being gentle sometimes is rewarding.
And I'm having more fun when the thing isn't fixed to my vehicle. I genuinely don't understand how anyone can fail that type of challenge, last time I got around 60 000.

Me: Gathering a couple dozen rocks at a time with a tether 50 ft long.
TIP: Attach the magnet to the top of your truck so it can reach any rocks that are higher up on ledges and roofs!
Seriously, a lot of these challenges would’ve been far easier if the game would’ve explained them better! Scored nearly 60k pts on my first attempt after watching this!
