Recorded on November 3, 2011 . This is a video of a short trip thru Saltville Va and talking about the town. This is part # 2. The Saltville overlook was part # 1. Also there's more to come
This was a wonderful video! Our dad, who just passed in December was born& raised in Saltville, VA. He has taken us there many times when we were younger. But the most memorable trip was when my son CJ and I went with my mom, dad and sister Chelsea ♥ It was during the festival they were having, there was a few bands on the beautiful stage they built! The museum was just wonderful and it will be a trip I will cherish forever ♥ My Aunt Phyllis, Cousin Greg still live there and have a farm. They used to farm tabacco years ago....And my cousin Tammy now lives in (sorry about spelling) Chillhoulie, VA? Thank you for this wonderful video, it brought back great memories ♥ I also remember the Piggly Wiggly, when we went there when I was younger ♥ Thank you again♥
My family is from Saltville. I still remember the summer they installed that stop light by the bank and funeral home. It was the first stop light in that downtown square and I saw older folks legit just refusing to stop. Lol.
Been there many times, but never bothered riding my motorcycle out there. Got dragged along for the ride with my father when he took my mother to the clinic there. Damn geese!
